Not Just Any Replacement

Narrator’s POV

Jaehee entered the Shim residence with Changmin behind her.

“My parents wanted to have dinner together, you weren’t busy right?” He asked. Jaehee shrugged.

“Not really.” She said as they walked in the living room.

“I’ll just be in the study, feel free to look around, Hee.”

“Changmin?”

“Hm?”

“Stop calling me that. It gives me goosebumps.”

Changmin walked inside his room to change and check some files on his computer. Soomin walked in his room.

“Is she here already?”

“Why aren’t you dressed?” Changmin sighed as he looked at his top model sister wearing nothing but a pair of denim hot shorts and an old shirt.

“We still have an hour, oppa.”

“Soomin~”

“Don’t wear that.” She shook her finger at him and went to his closet.

Soomin grabbed a pair of tapered khaki jeans and Givenchy shirt.

“Wear these.” She beamed and walked out.

Jaehee’s POV

The Shim residence was huge. I was inside the living room where Changmin left me. I noticed the family portrait on the left.

I thought he was an only child.

Is he?

I walked near the photo.

His parents were with him, together with a young lady.

Why does she look so familiar?

Narrator’s POV

Jahee’s eyes widened as she recognized the girl on the portrait.

Just in time, Soomin went down clad in a blue Lanvin mini dress.

“Oh, good evening.” She greeted. Jaehee blinked.

“I’m pleased to finally meet you, sister-in-law.” Soomin stopped in front of her.

“Shim Soomin?”

“Yes, its me. I know we met earlier, but I wasn’t so sure on how introduce myself, please forgive me for that.”

“Aniyo, it’s fine. Nice to meet you too. I love your works.” Jaehee smiled and gladly shook her hand.

“Oh, Soomin you went down already?” Changmin came rushing down the stairs. Jaehee looked at him.

She realized one thing. Changmin was still the hottie she fell for during their high school days.

“Yes, Oppa. Your wife is really pretty. We happen to work together for Haejungie noona’s line.” Soomin nodded.

“Ah…that’s good to hear.” Changmin threw her a look.

“To the dining room we go.” Soomin shrugged and walked out.

Changmin’s POV

“You never told me you had a sibling.”

“Well you never asked.“ I replied. Jaehee nodded and placed her bag down.

“Doe she know?” She asked.

“About?”

“Us.” She looked at me.

“Does she have to?” I looked at her. Jaehee shook her head and looked away.

“You look beautiful tonight Jaehee.” I smiled at her and went ahead.

Narrator’s POV

Soomin claimed her seat on the dining table. She was talking with her parents.

“Glad you could have dinner with us, daughter-in-law.” Mrs. Shim stood up, Jaehee smiled and hugged her back. Soomin made a face at her brother.

“This is a good event, Soomin came back from Paris and we have a new daughter.” The elder Shim replied.

Jaehee could only smile and nod.

“So are when are we going to see our grandchildren?”
