Narrator’s POV
 

Jaehee could feel her cheeks color when Max said those words to her.

She mentally cursed herself and blamed the alcohol for everything.

“When…did you start modeling?” She asked, trying to divert herself.

“Five years ago.” Max replied. Jaehee nodded.

“I have something to ask.” Max said.

“What?”

“You and Yoochun seem to be really close, are you two good friends?”

Jaehee bit her lip. She was contemplating what to tell him.

“Yeah, we are good friends.” She smiled.

She didn’t notice that Max had gripped his glass and took a long swig from it.

“Yoochun and I have known each other for quite a long time.”

“Ah, geurae? You must trust him that much.”

“Of course.”

Soomin rubbed her hands together in satisfaction and went back inside the private room.

“It’s a beautiful night.” She chuckled and got her bag.

“Where are you going?” Tao looked up.

“Home. You know me, I don’t like noisy places.”

“Soo, it’s not safe going alone.” Haejung said.

“I’ll call Jae hyung to~”

“Didi, unnie, it’s fine. I brought a car here.”

Changmin’s POV

I don’t like doing this.

Here I am, hearing about how much she trusts Yoochun and I actually know what kind of person that scumbag is. I feel awful.

And what’s worst?

I’m lying to her.

I’m not Max. I’m not a model.

I saw Soomin go down and exit the place. Yunho hyung caught my eye and gave me a nod.

“But, Max-ssi.”

I looked at her.

“Just Max.”

“Max, you seem really close with Soomin, did you two work together before?” She asked.

“..Yeah we did.”

“You must have seen her a lot of times then.” She looked at me.

Yes, we grew up together, Hee.

I cant stand lying to her.

I tried to look at her face as she asked for another drink. She still had those thick lashes and almond shape eyes.

Narrator’s POV

Soomin passed through the back door to prevent the reporters outside. She pushed through the door, but then someone had called her.

“Oh, Yunho-ssi…oppa.” She blinked. Yunho smiled.

“You shouldn’t be going alone.”

“It’s okay, my car’s here.”

Yunho nodded and held the door for her.

“Thanks.” She smiled.

They went out of the building, but a metal railing blocked them. Soomin sighed.

“I don’t think this will work~”

Soomin gracefully lifted herself up using the railing as support and threw her legs to the other side.

Yunho blinked at her.

“Oppa, don’t tell me you never did this during high school.” She chuckled. Yunho laughed and effortlessly did the same.

Soomin nodded as they began to walk to her car.

“Thanks for walking me here.” She nodded as she saw her vehicle a few steps away.

“It was nothing, drive safely.” Yunho nodded and gestured for her to get in. Soomin smiled as she slipped inside the car.

“He has his own plus points.” She smiled as she started the engine.
