Narrator’s POV

“We have a company party?” Soomin blinked. Changmin nodded and drank his coffee.

“How come I just knew?”

“Because you were busy with modeling…?”

Soomin sighed.

“I take that appa wants to announce about your marriage to the company?”

Changmin looked at her.

“I think you’re right.”

“Right, how did last night go?” She leaned in.

“I just drove her home.”

“No kiss good night?” She beamed.

“Shim Soomin?”

“Yes?”

“Just eat your breakfast.”

Jaehee stepped in the company and found her manager waiting for her.

“Did you get home safely last night?”

“Yes, I did.”

Her manager smiled.

“I cancelled your schedule for tonight, you have a party attend to.”

“Party? What party?” Jaehee looked up.

“You didn’t know? The party that Shim Industries is holding.”

Jaehee blinked. Then her phone started to ring.

Changmin’s POV

“You didn’t tell me about a party.” I heard Jaehee sigh.

“Sorry, you were already asleep last night.”

“It’s fine. Do I have to attend?”

I felt someone grab the phone from me.

“Unnie? It’s me.”

I glared at my younger sister.

“Yeah, I would really like it you would come, unnie. It’s my first time attending with a sister.”

There goes the aegyo attack again.

“Jinjja? Arasso, I’ll see you later, unnie. Take care.”

Soomin gave me a triumphant smile and gave me my phone.

“You’re welcome, oppa.” She chuckled.

“You would be in big trouble if Soo finds out.” Jaejoon hyung said as we went out of the conference room.

“Anyway, thanks hyung for allowing us to use your company for the advertising~”

“Don’t try to change the topic.”

I sighed.

“If you really love Jaehee, I think your sister should know who she really is. Soomin genuinely likes her, Min. Once she finds out that~”

“I’ll…do something about it hyung…but not now.”

Narrator’s POV

Soomin drove out of the Shim residence using her black BMW.

She arrived at Itaewon and parked in front of a coffee shop. She smiled as memories from her university days hit her.

Then she heard a distinct sound of a camera. She looked arounf and noticed that some reporters had followed her.

“Miss Shim! You’re back! Is it true that you are currently seeing Mister Park Yoochun?”

“How about your brother’s marriage? Are you getting along well with Miss Kang?”

“Will you be working at Seoul now?”

“Is this because of your relationship with Mister Park that you decided to transfer?”

Soomin was speechless. How in the world did she get linked to the fleabag?

She was about to open when she felt an arm around her waist and she was pulled to the entrance of the shop.
