Changmin’s POV

I can’t believe my sister is running late…again.

I felt Jaehee’s hand around mine.

“I don’t see Yunho.” She stated.

“I think something’s wrong.” Jaejoong hyung stated.

“What do you mean hyung?” I asked.

“I saw Yunho and his family~”

“Oh, good to see you two here!”

It was Uncle Jeongsu, he was walking to us with aunt.

“Oh, aunt, uncle, hi.” Jaejoong hyung greeted.

“Nice to see you again, Jaejoong. And, is this your wife, Changmin-ah?”

“Yes, auntie, this is Jaehee, Hee this aunite Miran, she’s Yunho hyung’s mom.”

“Nice to meet you.” Jaehee smiled and shook her hand.

“I’ve always watched your dramas, you look prettier in person!”

Jaehee chuckled.

“I’m glad you could set a good example for my son, Changmin.” Uncle said.

I blinked at him. Even Jaejoong hyung looked confused.

Narrator’s POV
 

Soomin parked her car. She looked at the garden where the party was being held. She found it odd that the Jungs would hold a garden party; she didn’t know what the occasion was. She was clad in a simple cream-colored dress with her plum heels.

“Oppa.” She went to her sibling who was looking at the platform; Yunho’s father was speaking.

“That is uncle Jeongsu.” Changmin stated.

Soomin looked at the stage.

“This year, we are very thankful for our successful venture to the Chinese market.”

People clapped their hands in unison.

“You’re quite late, Soo.” Jaejoong stood beside her.

“He’s right.” Jaehee nodded then she smiled.

“I was~”

“And there is one more thing I would like to share and of course my whole family is thankful for this….”

“My son, Yunho is getting engaged this week!”

Jaehee’s gaze snapped at Soomin.

Soomin’s eyes widened.

“Miss Chen Yuru here, will be joining our family soon.” He smiled brightly as Yunho came on the stage with a lady beside him.

“Please give them your blessings.”

Soomin looked away.

Jaehee’s POV

“Engaged?!” I blinked at Min.

He has Soomin, why would her marry her?

“I…didn’t know.” He replied. The crowd had dispersed now. Some guests were crowding over Yunho and his fiancé, congratulating them.

“Hyung never mentioned this to me.” Changmin stated as he took a sip of his champagne.

“A few days ago when I had lunch with Soo, I saw the whole Jung family meet with them, the Chens.”

“Chen? Chen Corporation from China?” Changmin asked.

Jaejoong nodded.

“So, that’s the only daughter?”

“She is, Chen Yuru, the heiress to the Chen Empire.”

“She’s not pretty.” Changmin nodded. I sighed, some things just never change.

“You’re mean.”

“Got used to it already.” Jaejoong shrugged.

“But….hyung never mentioned it to us.” Changmin said.

“It’s arranged, most probably, by the look on his face.” I nodded.

“I know right.” Jaejoong nodded.

Narrator’s POV

Soomin wanted to get the hell out of the party. But if only her parents’ friends would quit talking to her, she would fly out of the place.

“Soomin, this uncle Jeongsu and his wife Miran.”

Soomin turned to them and smiled.

“They are Yunho’s parents.”

She almost choked.

“Nice to meet you.” She managed to give them a bow.

“So, you’re the top model? Pretty.”

“I quit some time ago, auntie.” She nodded.

“I heard about your new management strategies at your company, I have to compliment you on that, miss Shim.” Mr. Jung said.

“Please don’t, I just started.” She chuckled.

“Yunho told me about you once, dear.”

She blinked.

“Really, auntie?” She looked away.

“There was one time I was thinking that he might go for you, but~”

“Eomma?”

Soomin looked at Yunho who was standing behind them.

“Son, Soomin’s here. Come, introduce Yuru to her!”
