Not Just Any Replacement
Jaehee’s POV
“I won the bet.”
Changmin smiled, we were both at the house’s veranda.
“Yunho’s mom is funny.”
“She has always been like that, ever since we were children.”
I smiled and lifted myself to the railings.
“Are you okay? About Yoochun and the rumors.”
“Come here.” I nodded. I cupped his face with my hands.
“I want to erase everything about him. So let us not talk about him, arasso?”
“Arasso.” He nodded; I felt his arms around me.
“I love you, Minnie.” I chuckled and kissed his nose.
“Minnie? What kind of nick~”
“So when are we expecting our grandchild?” Mother grinned from the doorway.
I heard Changmin sigh as he lifted me off the railing.
Soomin’s POV
After a nice warm bath, I changed into a pair of shorts and a shirt.
Nice of Yuru to report everything, I can’t even rest now. Mom and Dad will be pestering me about~
“Can I come in?”
“No.” I replied. Changmin oppa rolled his eyes and went in.
“You look tired but happy.”
“I DO need sleep, what time are we going to eat?” I asked.
“I’m glad you ended up with Yunho hyung, Soo. I really am.”
Now, this is new.
“Where’s your overprotective mode?” I chuckled as I brushed my hair.
“As long he doesn’t hurt you, I approve, now get dressed because~”
“I sense a sibling moment.”
I heard unnie walk in.
“She doesn’t need to get dressed, Min. We’re just at home.” She said. I nodded in defiance.
“Well, her shorts are too short.”
I saw oppa pull her to his lap. I smiled. Somehow, they are proof to “first love never dies”.
Ugh, did I just become so cheesy?
“Tardy, as usual.”
I turned and found Yunho oppa leaning on the wall.
“They already started eating downstairs.” He said, I felt his hand on mine.
“Are your….parents okay with us?” I asked.
“Is that a trick question?”
“I mean, you know with the deal you have with the Chen~”
“Love is not a business deal, Soo.” He said.
I nodded, and then he stopped walking.
Narrator’s POV
Yunho gently kissed her cheek.
“It’s okay to do this now, right?” He smiled. Soomin eyed him for a while, and then she smiled.
“Don’t overdo it.” She chuckled and wrapped her arm around his.
“I don’t get it.” Changmin rubbed his temples and tossed the files on his table. Soomin chuckled and closed the door behind her.
“Is this about the new deal with JS Group, oppa?” She asked.
“What else? That old man is getting all choosy and fickle~”
“Calm down, brother.” She placed a cup of ice latte on his table.
“I knew it would be like this when your secretary called me. He said, “The chairman looked really cranky, ma’am. You might as well talk to him”.” She made air quotes.
“Did Jaehee call you today? I cant seem to reach her.” Changmin ignored her statement.
“Nope. But, when are you going to tell mom and dad, oppa?”
“Soon. I’ll schedule for us to eat together. I still need to talk to Hee about it.” Changmin smiled to himself.
Soomin shook her head, that was how her brother’s mood shifts, so fast.
“Well, he or she should never inherit that temper of yours.” Soomin shrugged with a smile.
