Narrator’s POV

“So, you really have no plans of coming back? What about your career?” Kris asked. Soomin looked at him for a second then she popped a piece of spicy rice cake in .

“I want to help my family with the business, I know my brother cant handle everything alone, Wuwu.”

Kris nodded.

“We should get going Soomin, we still have that party.”

Soomin made a face but she stood up.

“So, has somebody….been making a move on you lately?”

Soomin chuckled darkly.

“There was one fleabag, but he’s gone now.”

People greeted Jaehee as she went around the party. Changmin was talking with his cousin and Yunho.

“Have you seen Soomin?” The older Shim asked.

“She’s not here, she went out with that other model.” Jaejoong nodded.

“But she’s back now.” Soomin appeared behind her cousin with a smile.

“Where’s Kris?” Jae asked.

“He wanted to rest, he had a tiring flight.”

Changmin nodded.

“Oppa, I was wondering~”

Someone pulled Soomin and made her face him.

“It’s you! That girl from that ad!” He slurred.

It was clear that he had drunk a lot of alcohol. Soomin tried to wriggle free from his grasp.

“Yes…can you let me~”

The man tugged on her arm and pulled her closer. That was when a fist suddenly flew out of nowhere, sending the drunk man to the floor.

Changmin and Jaejoong looked at Yunho who was glaring at the man.

“Oppa.” Soomin blinked and slowly stepped in front of him. Yunho blinked at her, Soomin placed both of her hands on his arms, as if trying to calm him.

“Are you okay?” He asked.

Soomin nodded.

“I am, but he’s not.” She bit her lip.

“Serves him right.” Changmin muttered.

“Oppa, come with me.” Soomin said and pulled Yunho out.

“What was that? Did something happen to Soomin?” Jaehee asked her husband as she made her way to them.

“Some guy tried to harass her, Yunho….he lost it.” Jaejoong shook his head. Jaehee smiled.

“I told you didn’t I?” She chuckled and gently elbowed Changmin.

“Huh. ”

Jaehee chuckled.

Both of them didn’t notice, but at that very moment, they smiled together. It was one of those rare tender moments that made them look like a real married couple.

“Omo! Changmin oppa!”
