Narrator’s POV
 

Tao took his cousin’s hand and glared at Yoochun.

“Do you know each other, jie?”

Soomin looked at Yoochun.

“Colleagues.” She nodded, then she excused herself and left Yoochun wincing in pain as he tried to flex his arm.

“Who was that?” Tao asked as they climbed up the stairs heading back to the private room.

“Some idiot.”

Soomin pushed open the door and found her cousin with Yunho and Haejung.

“Oh, hyung annyeonghaseyo.” Tao bowed politely.

“He came just in time to karate chop that idiot.” Jaejoong snickered and shook the younger man’s hand.

“Yunho this is Tao, he’s a cousin of ours from China.”

“Di, you stay with oppa here, I need to look for oppa.” Soomin said before patting Tao’s hand.

“Soo, be careful.” Haejung said.

“Don’t worry, unnie. Yoochun’s just a fleabag.” She chuckled as she closed the door.

Jaehee’s POV

I saw Soomin went down from where ever she came from.

Then I saw Max stood up from his seat, leaving the girls around him.

He walked to her and held her elbow tightly.

Are they seeing each other?

I saw Soomin smile and patted his cheek.

Well, they’d be a perfect couple~ wait, why am I even thinking about him?

“Babe?”

Yoochun waved his hand in front of my face.

“Oh?”

“Are you interested with the new model? That hurt.”

“Ani.” I smiled and leaned on him. I’m quite thankful for the dim lights, at least people wont recognize us.

“I think I need to go.”

I looked at him.

“Wae? The party just started.”

“I think I hurt my arm.” Yoochun raised his hand up.

“What happen?”

“Some idiot did this to me, anyway, sorry I really need to go.”

I nodded.

“I’ll see you at the rehearsals tomorrow then.” I felt his lips on my forehead thenhe left.

Changmin’s POV
 

I saw Yoochun walk over to Jaehee. Is he crazy?

What if people would see them? Then word goes out that they’re still dating?

I sighed.

That even tried to hit on my sister.

Then I saw him lean over and kissed her forehead.

“Oppa~”

I looked at Soomin, she was wincing in pain.

“Soo~” I realized that I was still holding her elbow.

“I’m sorry.” I let her go. She gave me a look.

“It’s gonna form a bruise and we have rehearsals tomorrow.”

I smiled and gently pinched her cheek.

“I’ll buy you ice cream.”

“Jealous Changdol is jealous.” She chuckled.

“I need to go up, Tao’s here. Did you see him?”

“I did, he should have ripped off his arm.”

She laughed.

“Call me if you need anything, try talking to Jaehee unnie.”

Narrator’s POV

Soomin walked in the room again with a smile on her face.

“PYC left.” She said as she plopped beside Yunho. Tao looked at her and took a swig from his scotch.

“How long will you be staying here, di?”

“I’m not sure, the company needs me.”

Soomin nodded, then she looked at Yunho.

“Do my brother and Jaehee unnie know each other? Like do they go way back?”

Yunho choked on his drink. Jaejoong and Haejung looked alarmed.

“Ani…what made you ask?” Yunho looked at her.

“It’s the way oppa talks about her, it’s like he knew her for a long time already.” She shrugged and took the bottle of water.

“Ah.” Yunho nodded and threw a troubled glance at the couple. Tao just moved his head to the beat of music.

“Ah, right, I still have to congratulate Changmin hyung.” He nodded.

Then Yunho noticed Soomin’s drink.

“You don’t drink?” He asked. Soomin looked at him.

“I can’t.”

“Is it because of your diet?”

“Ani. Alcohol and I don’t get along.”

Changmin found Jaehee alone at the bar.

He smiled and took the empty stool beside her.

“Why are you alone?” He asked. Jaehee looked at him.

“My date went home already? That would be your answer right?” Max tilted his head. Jaehee’s eyes widened.

“How..how..”

“Isnt it normal to bring dates to such events?” He chuckled and traced the tip of his glass with his finger.

“You’re right.” She nodded.

“Soomin says she’s your sister-in-law.” Max nodded. Jaehee smiled.

“She’s pretty.” She chuckled. Max nodded briefly and looked up, Soomin gave him a thumbs up from the second floor.

“You too.”
