Chaprter 24

After the monumental silence that seems to have gone on forever after Jess answered thatJoohyun is pregnant, every one began talking at once, few tears from some of the girls, worried expression can be seen and then there's Jonghyun who seems to have lost his way through life. 

“Wait wait I’m confused I’m sorry I’m Jessica and she’s Tiffany we’re Joohyuns best friends may I know who you guys are?" Looking at the three who was asked to stay behind she then added "Basically you know her relationship with Yonghwa so you must be close? I - I have no idea here”

Taeyeon recovered from all the shocking news and answered

“ I’m Taeyon I’m Seohyuns friend, this is my cousin Yoona, she knows Seohyun too, she was the one who helped her with her living arrangements before she came to Korea and this is Jonghyun”now looking at Jonghyun “My boyfriend” she paused “and Yonghwas best friend” silence fell in the room once again

Tifanny who seems to be in a trans was biting her nails while Jessica is massaging her forehead. They were the ones who were making the calls so far and with Jonghyun knowing that Seohyun is pregnant would definitely complicate things.

“I think it’s best if we all seat” spoke Sooyoung. Everyone followed but seems to be in a bubble of their own and tried to find a seat.

“Ok this is too much of a problem already. Tiff and I came here because Joohyun mentioned her problems with Yonghwa and we can’t just leave her alone like that, we are supposed to be back to our families in 1 week but when we arrived here we found her in the hospital with a few broken bones and well pregnant” Jess continued while looking at Jonghyun “ Now Jonghyun right?” Jonghyun just nodded “I understand that you are best friends with Yonghwa but”she then looked around and her eyes fell on Tiffany who just squeezed her hand

“is it possible if you can keep this to yourself?”

“What?” answered the surprised Jonghyun

“We know that it’s too much to ask but we need Seohyun to recover quickly for all of her children, the 2 grown ones and the one inside her. As far as I know they have already broken up and Yonghwa is now engaged, we don’t want him causing anymore heartache to our friend and we don’t want our now pregnant friend to be in the middle of any more problems.” Tiffany explained

“This may not be the best decision but it’s good for now. She doesn’t even know she’s pregnant so please please please we beg you please do not tell Yonghwa about this. We don’t want people thinking of something bad about our friend. We will talk to Seohyun to come home. Being pregnant here without her family is not a good for her”

“Do you think it’s right that my best friend won’t even know he has a child? Isn’t it his right to know this?” Jonghyun answered the the two haughtily

Jess got irritated hearing what he said and backfired

“Well, he slept with my bestfriend and got engaged to another do you think that that will earn him the right to be a father? If you say yes then by all means be my guest go ahead and tell him. Again I don’t know the rest of the story, I don’t know your side of the story all we know is that our best friend had suffered so much being with your best friend and now she is carrying his child I think she would suffer more staying by his side looking like she was begging him for what? A shot gun marriage? Then his fans will have a field day with her? He’s not man enough to stick it with Joohyun what more now that shes pregnant? No I won’t permit that. Never will we let Joohyun beg for anyones love ezpecially Yonghwa just because she is carrying his child. If I have to use all my money and power I’ll get Seohyun as far away from Yonghwa as possible.”

The whole room can now feel the tension that was growing between Jonghyun and Jess when they heared someone

“Jess is that you?”

Seohyun could barely speak. Her eyes still blurred but she recognized Jess’ voice. She can see several,no not several, a lot of people inside the room all scurrying to her bedside. She tried to look around but was caught in tubes. She tried to remove the ones in her nose when Tiff got a hold on her hand

“No sweetie don’t do that, you need that.How are you Joohyun” Tiff is now crying

“I’m ok I guess but my whole body hurts like hell! I now remember why I haven’t attended that Yoga class you signed us up on” Seo smiled

“Do you know how scared we were huh Joohyun?! Here we are in a foreign country waiting to be picked up in the airport by our bestfriend when we found out from our dear Hyoyeon that you were in a car accident and is now in the hospital!” Jess half shouting half sobbing

“Hi Hyo, I’m sorry I made you worry. I slowed down and went to the side I didn’t know what happened next”

Hyoyeon was now in tears and held her hand “Why are you saying sorry? This is so like you!”

Seohyon tilted her head to find her other friends there

“Hey guys! The paper is in my bag at home I can give you the passcode you can just get it there”

“Pabo! You’re all strapped in the hospital bed yet you thought of the school paper!” Yuri came forward, Sooyoung and Sunny now went to the side and tried to hug her as lightly as possible. She smiled seeing her friends around her when her eyes zoomed in on Jonghyun and Taeyeon. Her eyes enlarged.
