IV

     When he sat down across me, I felt my heart skip a beat.

What does this stupid beautiful jerk want? I wonder what's his name.

               I gained my composture and eyed him with a questioning look.

"I'm Taehyung," He answered with a beautiful smile. 

Oh my God, can he read my mind?

"As if I care," I rolled my eyes.

               I'm sure I saw his eyes widen a little but he immediately hid that surprised look on his beautiful face.

Taehyung. I thought.

"Beautiful right?" He asked playfully.

"I'm sorry?" I asked, dumbfounded.

"My name. It's beautiful"

               It's not a question from him actually. It is a statement.

"Totally," I answered, full of sarcasm.

"You know, you're too cold," He stated seriously.

               My eyebrows hitched upwards.

"I didn't expected this from you. Well yeah I expected actually, but not to this extent"

What the h is he talking about? Idiot.

"You're from Beijing right?" He asked casually.

How did he know? I mentally asked myself. Well probably everyone in this school knows about me and Kai. I mentally retorted.

"Yes," I answered without a hint of interest while taking a big bite on my burger.

               He suddenly chuckled, emphasizing his beautiful smile. I stopped eating and placed down my food.

"What's funny?" I irritatedly asked.

"Most of the girls won't eat like a pig in front of me," He answered while still chuckling.

"Well I'm not 'most of the girls',” I said in a matter-of-fact.

"So you're saying y-"

"But I'm not saying I'm a pig!" I defended before he could finish the sentence.

"Okay. Okay. You're not," He shot his arms upwards, still chuckling beautifully.

               Now, I'm starting to accept that he is indeed beautiful. But it still doesn't took away the fact that he slammed his food in front of me.

               There was a moment of silence after he ended his idiot-like-chuckle.

"So," I started. "This is your place huh?" I asked with a hint of sarcasm while looking around.

               He didn't answered and kept silent. I curled my fist angrily. After making fun of me, he'll ignore my presence? How dare this jerk!

"Yah! I'm talking t-"

"I hate it," He spilled.

               My eyebrows twitched. "What do you mean?"

"I hate it when they treat me like a king, 'cause I'm not. I hate it when everybody look at me like I'm so perfect, 'cause I'm not. I hate how girls follow me like there's no other man in the world, 'cause I think it's unfair and I don't deserve it. I hate how the men get scared of me even I'm not doing anything", He stopped and sighed heavily. His head slightly hanged down.

"B-but you're a-acting like one," I stuttered.

               He looked up, meeting my gaze. I held my breath as I saw his beautiful eyes sparkle in reflection to the sunlight that entered the window glass.

"Because I was looking for someone who will not treat me like everyone else does. I was looking for someone who's brave enough to stand against me. I was looking for someone who will not look at me like a perfect handsome scary king but rather as a normal person like who I really am," He said with his eyes totally fixed into mine.

"So w-what are y-you trying t-to s-say?”

               I can't keep myself from stuttering since his presence, though he pushed the button in me in our first meeting, really do makes me nervous. What happened earlier was actually a big help
