XII

     I blinked my eyes few times at the ceiling, trying to recall what happened. My eyes widened as reality hit me and I suddenly sat up.

“Aww!” I held my aching head.

“Li?”

     My ears irked from the call.

Byunghun?

     And I was right. It's him.

“W-what are you doing here?”

     He walked closer to my bed and said, “Uhm. I carried you here when you went unconscious after you got hit by the ball”

“Huh? I-it's you?” I asked in confusement.

“Uh-yes,” He said while scratching the back of his head.

I thought it was Taehyung.

“You're one of Ms. Jung's students?” I asked.

“Yes”

What the? How come I didn't saw him?

     I layed back on the bed. My breathing once again became unstable. He's too close. He's now sitting by my bedside. I stared nervously at the ceiling.

“Li,” He started after minutes of silence.

why does he have to talk to me? Can't he just leave? Just like what he did before. That's what he's good at. Leaving.

     I pretended not to hear.

“Li,” He softly called once again.

     I bit my lip and gulped hardly.

“Look. I-I know you're mad for what I've done before. I know it's my fault and believe me, I am sorry”

     I closed my fist. How dare he bring up the past.

“I am sorry too,” I looked at him. “For myself,” His face turned pale. “You shouldn't have let me fall for you when in the end you're just going to leave me,” My voice broke.

“Li, you know I love you,” He looked me in the eyes. “But you know I love my family too”

     I don't know why I heard an edge at the latter sentence.
