Kyungsoo, by far, is really weirded out by the sudden turn of events.

There’s this school dance, see? But there’s a twist. The student body thought that a guy asking the girl to the dance is too common so they proposed that the girl would do the asking this time. The dance is just a social gathering, really. Something that freshmen students would want to come so that they could socialize with other students. But Kyungsoo, being a sophomore, doesn’t find it appealing to go to these type of events.

All he really wanted is to spend time sprawled over his beautiful newly washed bed sheets as he watches Prince of Tennis reruns on his laptop at the night of the dance. But sadly, that image magically flew away the moment the famous Oh Sehun approached him with those icy stare, eyes fixated on him.

“Go to the dance with me.” Is what she said, voice firm and final.

Kyungsoo blinks twice upon hearing that, letting his back lean against the lockers as he tries to let the words out of his mouth. Unfortunately, just staring back at those icy stare of hers got Kyungsoo to freeze on his movements, breath hitching a bit at the sight of the majestic beauty in front of him.

He just couldn’t believe that Oh Sehun, the Oh Sehun, the famous Oh Sehun that is known for her coldness and harsh icy words that got men weeping yet still crawling back towards her. That Oh Sehun is asking him to the dance. Is he dreaming?

And before Kyungsoo could stutter out a word of affirmation, another voice came chirping, footsteps light as a feather as she makes her way towards their direction. Kyungsoo heard a couple of gasps coming out of his schoolmates’ mouth. Some let out a dreamy sigh at the sight.

“No, you’re not.” The owner of the voice, Kim Jongin, grins. “Cause you’re coming with me.”

Kyungsoo gulps hard, eyes even wider than before as he finds himself pressing his back deeper against the lockers. This time, the famous Kim Jongin, also known as the school’s heartbreaker, asks him to the dance.

You see, Kim Jongin isn’t just called cute. Kim Jongin was, and always will be, this very, very beautiful girl that got the word y turn into a different level. She’s smoking, not literally, but you would if you stare at her. Even Kyungsoo, who’s shaking with nervousness from Oh Sehun is now sweating beads thanks to this hot girl in front of him.

“I asked him first, Kim.” Sehun said, face holding no emotion yet his eyes were filled with anger. “Get lost.”

“But I got my eye on him first, Hunnie. I have been ever since freshmen year.” Jongin winks, smirking after. “So you should be the one to get lost not me.”

“I have my eye on him since kindergarten.” Sehun said making a few small gasps escape the forming crowd’s mouth. It was true that Kyungsoo and Sehun were classmates back at the days. But they were never speaking to one another. The only time was when Sehun threw her pink towel on his face when he was crying because he fell as he ran. And to think that Sehun already liked him back then.

“Ah, I see.” Jongin nods knowingly, smirk never faltering. She folded her arms against her chest and shifted her weight on her other foot. “But the thing is, I want Kyungsoo to be my date to the dance. And sadly, I don’t want to share.”

“Neither do, I.”

And in a blink of an eye, both girls shift their attention to Kyungsoo, whose mouth is slightly open in disbelief at the sudden happenings in his life. I mean, he’s never that popular. Just an average student with average grades and average friends. Chanyeol, yes, he can understand because that guy is so freaking attractive in all angles. But him? Seriously? Are these two blind or what?

“So.” Jongin her lower lip making Kyungsoo gulp hard. “Who are you going to the dance, Soo?” Sehun only stares at him expectantly, as if she’s waiting for her name to be called out.
