Yixing / fem!Jongdae || words: 558 || drabble || summary: falling for your stepbrother

Jongdae was drenched with water from top to bottom, looking up to see those gentle eyes staring at her. She closes her eyes when two equally wet yet warm hands cup her cheeks, tilting her head upwards to get a clear view of those eyes. The man smiles down at her before capturing her lips, a breathless gasp escaping her lips when he felt those hands slide down until they were settled on her waist, pulling her close.

When they pulled away, Jongdae was already out of breath. The man grins down at her and leans over to give her another kiss, this time, just a simple brush and lets their forehead connect. He looks so damn attractive, wet bangs sticking on his forehead and body slightly shivering from the cold. But the moment was too good to even care for the fact that they might get a cold tomorrow.

“I love you.” He whispered. “I have been since forever.”

“O-Oppa.” Jongdae looks down for a brief moment, blushing, before looking back up at those eyes with a small smile. “I love you too, Oppa.”

The man chuckles before leaning over again to give her another ki –

“Yo, wake up. We’re gonna be late for school.”

Jongdae’s eyes flew open upon hearing that and she groans. “Yixing-oppa.”

Said guy, Yixing, raises his brows and blinks twice. “We’re gonna be late for school so get up and get cleaned up. Mom and Dad already left and breakfast is on the table. Go. Up, up. Up!” He pushed Jongdae’s back to help her sit up and huffs. “You’re so heavy.”

“Yah!”

“Hurry up.” He yawns and walks out of the room with a bored look on his face. Jongdae groans. It was really bad because she had dreamt of another scenario that involves her and that man – or she should say – her brother kissing under the rain. And no, they’re not blood-related. His mom and her dad got married 2 years ago so that explains their sibling relationship.

But damn. Why does it have to be her high school crush that got to be her brother?!

“Jongdae, I do not hear any shower running!”

Jongdae sighs. “Fine, fine. I’m up!”

Yixing sighs and makes his way towards the laundry room, eyes immediately landing on the wet clothes that were piled up in the hamper. He blinks twice and looks down on his open palms, closing it a few times.

“Ah, so heavy.” He muttered.

Of course she wasn’t. But then she really had to wear thick layers of clothing so it added to her weight when he carried her back at home after passing out from the coldness. It was hard getting his step-sister home because she kept on squirming in her sleep. It was a good thing his mom was already there so she was the one who changed her clothes. And to think she even managed to kick him on the bum.

Yixing hummed and his lower lip, stuffing his hands inside his pockets as he exits the laundry room.

It hurts, yes, but it was definitely worth it.
