His Mother
Don't Fall For Kris WuKris pulled in a huge house near the beach. It was almost sunset.
Oh yeah. I almost forgot. Busan is a seaside province.
He parked his car in the garage then he looked at me. “Are you okay?” He asked me.
I nodded. I don’t know when and where I got the courage right now. Just a few hours ago, I was chickening out.
Or maybe it was because of Kris’ words.
He held my hand and gave me an assuring squeeze. “You’re just going to meet my mom. You’re not going to marry me yet.” He told me.
I rolled my eyes.
“But if you really want to marry now, I could fix that.” He teased and I hit him lightly.
“Marry, my .” I scoffed. “I’m not even that in loved with you.”
He raised his brow. “What?” he asked. “Not that in loved?” He continued. Then a sly smile was creeping out of his lips.
My eyes widened. What have I said?
He chuckled. “Well, I’m happy for the progress.” He told me. “At least you feel a little affection for me too.” He leaned closer.
My eyes widened and I began to panic. What’s he going to do?
Is he going to-
I suddenly couldn’t breathe.
Kris placed a quick kiss on my cheek. He looked at me and smiled. “You look really cute when you’re shocked and blushing.” He told me. “Don’t worry, if we get together, you’ll get used to the feeling.”
Then he grinned and walked out of the car.
What the hell is happening to me right now?

“Mom!” Kris called as he opened the door just like that. He didn’t even knock.
I was still standing near the door while Kris placed our things on the couch. He looked at me. “Come in.” He told me.
I gulped and looked around before I walked inside, closer to him.
“I wonder where she went again.” He mumbled as he walked to the kitchen. “Mom?” He called.
Then suddenly the front door opened revealing a dazzling middle-aged woman. She is wearing a beach hat and she’s on her swimming attire.
“Aish.” I heard Kris whine. “Mom!” He called her.
What?! How could Kris have a hot mother?
Kris’ mom smiled at him and gave him a tight hug. “I thought you’re not coming!” She beamed at him before gazing on me. “Oh my gosh! Is this your girlfriend?” She asked as she walked to me smiling widely.
Kris chuckled.
His mom walked to me and squeezed me in a tight hug. “Oh my gosh! Nice meeting you, finally, Kim Ashin!” She beamed at me. “I finally got to meet the person who makes my son crazy every night.” She teased.
“MOM!” Kris whined.
I laughed at his mother.
His mom chuckled and dragged me to the kitchen. “Have you eaten? I’m sure you’re hungry.” She bombarded me with words as she let me sit down while she takes something out from the fridge. “Here. I baked a cake this morning.” She smiled at me as she gave me a slice of a chocolate cake.
I chuckled at her as I ate the cake she baked.
I never really liked cakes but this cake tastes different. It gives me of
