Haeri's P.O.V

I closed my eyes. This was it. I was going to open my eyes, ready to sigh because of the changes in my own face. I hated this. I hated being touched by anybody's hand. I was damn uncomfortable, but what could I do? Right, nothing. So I just fluttered my eyes closed, heaving a deep breath of surrender.

"It's finished, young miss. You can now open your eyes." The beautician softly beamed lightly. I clutched on my other hand, eyelids slowly fluttering upwards to meet the strange reflection on the mirror.

Well, It wasn't really special. My face didn't change a lot, since the beautician said that they didn't need to put a heavy make-up on my face. Good, cause I despised it anyway.

On the other hand, my body was wrapped in a silk pearl black colored gown. It perfectly hugged my body shape, flaunting the body line and baring my arm along with collar-bone. My feet were secured in a black 7cm stilletos. Well, I had a pretty bad argument with the stylist before, and 7cm stilleto was the last toleration she had.

In conclusion, this girl infront of me was not me. I was not this kind of girl.

"What do you think? Are you satisfied?" The beautician wondered. I put up a weak smile, trying to be enthusiast or whasoever. But, this didn't excite me. I was lacking in confidence. I appriciate her hardwork over me, but...

Ugh, just stop.

"Relax, everything would be okay." She beamed once again, bobbing her body up and down in excitement. I smiled of gratefulness and walked out to the car, only to met Mr.Jung smiling dreamily at me.

"You looked absolutely wonderful, young miss." Mr.Jung nodded proudly, satisfied at my changes. "Now, I am worried if they would mistake you as the bride. You looked absolutely stunning." He then continued while opening the back door for me.

I couldn't help but chuckled at his sweet remark. "Stop the sweet talking, ahjusshi."

For awhile on the way, I was spacing out, staring at the view from the window. I was pretty much nervous. I hadn't had this kind of party alone before. Only if I could have a company..

"What are you thinking, Haeri-ya?" Mr.Jung softly asked. I turned my head to rearview mirror, seeing Mr.Jung worriedly eyeing me. I shook my head, eyes diverted back to the window.

"I was worried, ahjusshi. I don't have any company. I don't want to be alone." I sighed once again. I didn't want to be alone. I didn't know who or what should kept me in company later. I wanted to have somebody.

"Ah." Mr.Jung nodded knowingly. "If then, don't be so worried, miss. Sajangnim had everything handled. You got someone there." He winked from the rearview mirror. I leaned forward, eyebrows approaching each other. Someone who? A surprise?

“Who?”

"We are arrived, miss." Mr.Jung smiled mischievously, hopped off to open the door for me. I pouted, grabbing the small handbag and grabbed the man's hand gracely.

"The people are watching, miss." Mr.Jung whispered, making the thump on my chest grew faster. "Make sure to maintain the good family name all the time." Mr.Jung warned once again before dashing off with the car. I sighed, walking firmly into the hall, keeping my head straight and jaw up. I needed to do this. For appa. For the company.

It was just another wedding. Big hall, expensive foods and wine, classy jazz playing on the side of the hall, beautiful bride.
