Fighting GravityIncomplete.
The soft sunshine was the one to wake the deeply asleeped bride. Trying to stand up, Haeri was slowly adapting to the environment because the last thing she remembered was only Kai’s face. She was thrown in disappointment, when that one person she was expecting to wake up to wasn’t there.
Forcing her fragile body out of bed, she walked with all of her ability. Her heart beat fast, screaming to beg the Lord for yesterday not to be only dream. Despite bad things went wrong yesterday, she would never regret the day, because it was the finest day in her life—whether that sounded really sad. Being around someone who loved you could change a lot of things, right?
Her tighten lips were turned upside down when Kai was nowhere to be found. She fell in the floor when her legs already gave up. Her energy went the lowest level, and an urge to cry was getting stronger.
Everything was just a dream.
A loving Kai was just a dream.
She cried her eyes out, her trembling lips repeatedly mumbling two things that she had to face for now. She held her body, dipped her head inside the fold of her legs. Her heart seemed like it was gone, slaughtered with pain.
Inside the deadpanned house, was a lone cry.
you, Haeri! How can you expect Kai to love you? You are just a meaningless girl for Kai to begin with! He doesn’t even love you, for God Sake! How can you be so blind? Why do you get your hopes up? She cried her pain out loud, yet it took none of the pain. Nothing would ever change. The fact that Kai would never love her would not change. The dream of being sincerely loved by somebody was unreachable. She was just a girl who mattered to no one. A lonely girl that never had someone to believe, to rely, to hold, to feel loved with.
How can a dream hurt this much?
