You sat on your bed with your diary on your lap and your pen in your hand. You stared into space. Wondering what you should write. Too many event has happened today and you didn't know where you should start. It was somewhat a little too much for you. You heard three knocks on your door before you father spoke. 'Are you still awake?' he asked. You hid your diary under your pillow before you hummed out a yes.

'Can I come in?'

'Nae,' your father opened the door and peeked his head through. 'Annyeong appa,' you said as you crossed both your legs and pull your blanket over. Your father sat at the end of your bed weighing it down a little. Your father has an average build and doesn't weight much but you were sure you took after your mother's build. 'What do you want to do for your birthday?' your father asked. 'It's coming up in a month time. We can do whatever you want.'

'I don't mind.' you simply said. You and your father have never really talked about your birthday. Even on your last birthday, you didn't really do nothing much. It was plain and un planned. But this year, it will be different. It will be happier and much better than the year before.

'Are you sure about this?' he asked and you nodded your head knowing perfectly that it wouldn't really matter to you as long as you get to spend it with your father. You closed your diary, put it in your bag, switched the lights off then went to sleep.
