Prologue 

Park Nara had a major crush on this particular boy and she decided to confess. With high expectation she told him how she feels, unfortunately, he rejected her in a cold way. She was embarrassed, heartbroken and devastated—she promised herself that she’ll forget him and detest him—at least that’s what she trying to. A week after her first heartbreak, her mom told her that she’s going to have an arranged marriage meeting.

Nara exploded, she disagrees with the idea of marrying someone—especially when her heart is not ready to love again, the pieces of her heart are everywhere and she’s too dejected to stitch it back up. Other than that, she is still a high school student, it’ll be out of the world if she married and who in this generation had an arrange marriage anymore, she thought. Her mom insisted and in the end, she found herself waiting for the other family to come inside a private restaurant.

Nara looked away in surprised when the other party arrived, she was the only one who wanted to leave that room, but her legs won’t move. Kim Taehyung was the son of the other family; of course out of thousands of Kims in the area, it has to be Kim Taehyung. She refuses to get married, he rejected her and she didn't want him to be a constant reminder of her embarrassing confession. Her mother told them to greet each other and to get acquainted, but she repulses and shook head.

It was the longest two hours of her life, she didn't enjoy the meeting after all—she purposely stuffed herself with food, so there would be a reason why she couldn't respond. The meeting mostly involved both sides parents, planning the big wedding and the company’s growth who seems to be failing right now and this wedding is the only way to save the company from going under. Nara couldn't care less about it what the parents are talking about. She sat in front of him during the entire meeting and not once did he ever look at her. He hands were sweating, she tried not to make a big deal out of it—except the fact that she still has feelings for him. She wanted to hate him, but looking at his face makes her think that he didn't really do anything wrong, but her mind kept thinking back to the time he rejected in such a cruel way and it’s making her feel unsettled.

Taehyung will never love her, she thought, because he rejected her once and he could do it again in the future. This marriage will just make everything worse, she wanted to be with him, but this is an unbelievable way to do it. She forced herself to forget him, by hating him, but how can she hate him for one reason, when the reason to love him is infinite? She wanted to destroy him, the way he destroyed her, but she didn't know how she’d rather bury herself alive than go through with this wedding.

“Don't worry. I’m against this wedding as much as you do.”  Taehyung whispered behind her back before he left. 

Characters

Kim Taehyung. The cold-hearted groom who has a girlfriend. Had to move into the bride's house because of the marriage. He is arrogant and kind of a diva, only thinking about himself and tries not to get blamed when he does something wrong. He is also one of the well-known students at the school, most of the girls' ideal type is him. He rejected the bride's confession before he knew he was going to marry her. 

Park Nara. The bride who confessed to her groom-to-be, but unfortunately she was coldly rejected. Then, she found out that she has an arranged marriage, with the groom-to-be that she confessed to a few days ago. She disagreed because she was trying to forget him and move on. She is forced to do things that she doesn't want her parents. This marriage ruined her life in an instant and she can't do anything about it because she is 'at the bottom of the food chain.

Jeon Jungkook. The new guy who just transferred to the school. He immediately showed interest in the bride and made himself her best friend, since he knew that she was not "well socialized" like others. He then tried to open the bride and read her, but her secret is shut. He is a best friend that is there for her when the groom didn't care. He is the only person who knows about the secret that they are married and promised to keep it that way.
