"Hello?"

The time I heard her voice, my heart skipped a beat. I couldn't utter a word, I was too shocked and was still trying to recover. She must've been confused, I am too. "...Hello?" Soo Ah tried to call my attention once again and interrupted my pondering. "...Soo Ah?" I asked, trying to confirm if it was really her. Now I know why Hak Yeon-hyung was acting all creepy a while ago. He was up to something, and it might be something good or bad.

The situation right now was both.

"T-Taek Woon-ssi...!?" A light squeak entered my ears as it perked in delightment. I couldn't get any happier - Just from hearing her voice so near... So close to me. I felt like weird. How embarrassing. If Hak Yeon could see me right now, he would be filled with a lifetime of happiness and satisfaction. "U-Uhm..." She muttered in a low voice.

I was nervous, really nervous.

Just trying to answer a call from other people was nerve-wracking.

What more if it was Soo Ah?

"I-I didn't know you have my number..." I could tell that she was biting her lip at that point of time, I guess she was nervous too? I mean, who wouldn't be when you would receive a call from a strange number? "...I didn't expect you'd pick it up." I tried to maintain my cool. My heart was beating fast - It was out of pace. "A-Anyways... How'd you get my number...?" She asked. "Ah! That..."

"Hak Yeon-hyung sent it to me." I answered back. Oh yeah, it was Hak Yeon who made it possible for me to contact her. He had this idea because I don't have much people to talk with using my phone. Great... His weird ideas were always the greatest of all.

But I have to admit, I was really thankful.

I still couldn't believe that it was Taek Woon-ssi whom I was talking to. And why would Hak Yeon-ssi give him my phone number? He was up to something, I'm sure. That man is full of tricks up on his sleeve. The conversation between us was still so awkward. It had been 5 minutes since Taek Woon called me, and there were very few interactions happening. 

But even if that was all there is, I was still very glad.

"So..." Taek Woon blurted out on the other end of the phone. I jumped from my seat, I didn't expect him to continue the conversation. And here I thought he would hang up any minute. "What are you doing right now...?" Ah... That voice. That mellow voice made me calm down, even if it was just for a while. My mind was blank, I was really nervous, my heart was going to pop out any minute - Those were all the things that I felt when I got a call from Taek Woon.

I immediately answered, "Well... Right now I'm doing my homework." I tried to supress the smile that was about to cross my face any minute. "Ah... Am I disturbing you?" He asked in a worried tone. I found it cute. His voice was just so angelic that I couldn't just get my ear away from being glued to the phone. "Hehe~" I couldn't help but giggle, "No, no. It's fine, actually." A short pause of silence took over.

"...Is there something wrong?" Taek Woon asked.

"No, it's just that..."

"That?"

"Taek Woon." 

"...I'm just glad that you called me." I grinned to myself. "Well, good night!" In panic, I shouted, ended the call, and buried my face onto my desk. "Hiii~!!!" I couldn't help but scream and stomp my feet in joy.

I felt like I was in paradise.

"Taek Woon."

My face flushed in deep, deep red. And I couldn't control it. It was the first time I heard Soo Ah say my name. Only my name. I felt this unknown sensation in me - There was a tingling sensation in my insides, and there was a slight prick behind my spine. My whole body shuddered, and I was in ecstasy. My soul was flying away from my body, and I couldn't stop it. I slightly opened my mouth and tried to say something, but ended up failing. 

"...I'm just glad that you called me." 

My heart thumped - Hard. It felt like it was gonna pop out soon out of my chest. It was suffocating, yet it felt wonderful.  "Well, good night!" Soo Ah said in a panic and ended the call, while I was still dazed in my spot, my phone still on my ear. I bit my lip, the sound of the phone's beeping resounded through my ears. "...Good night." Even after I knew that the call just ended, I still held onto the phone tightly and tried to greet back when I know that no one was going to hear it or reply to my words. After a while, I turned my phone off and spaced out, recollecting the moments and conversation we had like it was 3 years ago.

"Taek Woonie~ Mom is calling for you!" Someone opened the door and tried to regain my subconciousness back on earth. My older sister suddenly came into my room without me noticing. "Uhm, hello? Earth to Jung Taek Woon?" She neared my and waved her hands in front of my distant eyes. "Huh, what?" I faced her, my cheeks still burning. She then smirked at me, "Ah~ Youth." She pinched my cheeks.

Happiness - It was one of the things that made me into this kind of guy.
