Chapter 2: Preparation

Everyone in the room gave me amazed stares.. Don't get me wrong, I know how difficult the song is, but I figured if we want to make this a performance worth-watching, we have to give our best.

"So, what do you need for this performance?" Ms. Kim asked you.

"Well, Ms. Kim, we're gonna need back-up dancers. And a partner for Sooyoong-ah." Min Yul said. Oh yeah. "Well, I'll be willing to be one of the back-ups.. Please, everyone, we need to make this work! Any volunteers?" Several hands were raised. 

"Oh, thank you! Thank you!" Min Yul was now dancing gleefully. Oh boy, she's getting over-xcited again.

"Okay kids, just to make this clear for all of you, the guests are not just ordinary people. There are some scouts scattered around, looking for students with Idol potential, so you better show your best, okay?" Ms. Kim expained.

"Nae!" Students exclaimed.

"Well, since we've only got 2 weeks for preparation, which'll be very busy, we need to do our very best to make this successful and memorable, are we clear?" "Yes Ms. Kim!" 

Then, with that, you guys started to plan..

AFTER A WEEK..

"We won't practice your singing with this one, Sooyoong-ah. Let's just practice the dance steps, guys! Places!" Ms. Kim said. You went to your positions.

After the practicing..

"Let's take a 15 minute break guys!" Ms. Kim said.

"Nae!" Said the exhausted students.

"Sooyoong-ah, we're doing great, aren't we?" Min Yul said, handing you a bottle of water.

"Thanks, yeah, I think we are." Yuou told her, smiling, then drank from the bottle.

"Sooyoong-ah, you're doing great.." Said Ms. Kim, approaching you two.

"Thanks, Ms. Kim! But I couldn't do this without your supervising, Ms!" You tolder her and gave her a bow. "Oh, no, no! No need to bow, you're the one doing all of the hard work, you know~ Well, I think your classmates had enough rest. Places everybody, Sooyoong-ah! It's our last practice now, so you're going to sing while dancing, okay? Here's the mic." She said as she handed you over the mic. 

"Nae! I'll do my best!"

With that, you guys started your last general practice.

"Sooyoong-ah! You were amazing! You really got the 'I'm in my dream~' part down!" Your classmates exclaimed excitedly. 

"Y-Yeah well, I practiced it at home." You said shyly. 

"Well, you did great!" "Kids! It's time to discuss about the costumes!" Ms. Kim exclaimed.

"Nae.." You all payed attention.

After the discussion, you were all dismissed. 

'So, we only have, like 5 days left to complete the costumes.. Aigoo.'  You thought as you walked home. Only 5 days left, and all of this will be over.
