Yongguk and Himchan hurried to the surgeon when they saw him, who was currently talking to Youngjae.

 

"What's happened? Is he OK?" Himchan demanded.

 

The surgeon turned to Himchan and Yongguk and sighed. "We're doing everything we can, but his heart is too weak. I'm sorry to say this, but, expect the worst." The surgeon turned and hurried back into the operating room. 

 

Himchan grabbed onto Yongguk and began to sob loudly. Yongguk started to cry silently, holding onto his lover. Youngjae just fell onto his knees and stared at the door that led to his other half. Youngjae had only just found him; he couldn't let him go.

 

Jongup, who hadn't heard what the surgeon had said, got up from his seat next to the still sleeping Junhong and made his way to Youngjae and then sat on the floor next to him, taking the man's hand in one of his.

 

Youngjae looked at the small boy and wanted to cry seeing his innocence. "I told them they have to do everything they can, that they have to save him," he told the young boy, taking him into his arms. He kissed Jongup's forehead and then laid his head on top of the boy's, hugging him tighter. "They said they will."
