Hoya's POV:

I looked at myself in the mirror, making sure I was looking acceptable. Somehow, I couldn't get my hair styled perfectly. Combing my hand through my hair, I sweeped it away from my face. I couldn't help but think I was looking like a wreck. Baggy eyes, wrinkly skin, I looked as though I aged a few years. I splashed some water on my face.
* I'm like this because of her* A grin broke out on my face. Walking out to the living room, I smoothed out my shirt to make sure there wasn't any creases. I grabbed the car keys and my wallet from the kitchen counter. I checked my watch to make sure I wasn't late.
*Time to go, I guess*

Driving down the familiar neighbourhood, I stopped by a cafe to get myself some coffee and a muffin. I was starving, skipping breakfast just to pick her up. Grinning, I walked to her house. It wasn't far, just a few blocks from the cafe. I needed the fresh air anyway. The walk to her front gate was relaxing, calming my head. The coffee and muffin helped. Finally I reached her house. Tiffany's house.

"Hey Tiffany! Come on! Or we'll be late!" I called out from the front gate. A few minutes later, she came out, carrying a bag of food. She was only in jeans and a plain t-shirt, yet she looked beautiful. Her hair was swayed majestically in the wind and her eyes shone. I couldn't help but smile. I was enchanted.

" Hoya! Snap out of it! We have to go now, to visit Sookyung!" She pulled me down the pavement back to the car. I nearly forgot the reason why we were going out. We were visiting Sookyung. He's still in a coma after the car incident. Its been a week but he's still not showing any signs of waking up. As Tiffany skipped in front of me, I wondered what she was thinking. Even though she seemed cheerful now, I knew deep down, she felt responsible for Sookyung's condition. I pat my left pocket, making sure it was still there. I hope it would give her a little bit of happiness.

I stood at the counter to register the both of us. It was near visiting hours, and as usual, Tiffany wanted to be the first to meet Sookyung. As the lady registered us into th system, I watched Tiffany as she waited on the couch. She was fidgeting with a bracelet. I recognised the bracelet as the Sookyung gave her for her birthday two years ago. Back then, she hardly used it, keeping in her jewelry box instead. But now, that bracelet and her are nearly inseparable. At last, we were allowed to go up to Sookyung ward. Tiffany bounded out of the lift to Sookyung's ward. I felt a little jealous of Sookyung, to have Tiffany worried about you. My footsteps were heavy as I walked to his ward. As I stood by the door, I watched Tiffany sit beside Sookyung, holding on to his hand and telling him about her day. I clenched my fist.
*She's wasting her time. He can't hear her, so why is she even troubling herself.* I looked away, and walked out of there. I needed some fresh air, so I went to the garden outside. As I walked through the lobby, I saw the rest of infinite. Everyone was here, except for Myungsoo. Even though Tiffany had forgiven him, we were still angry at him. No matter how much I tried, I just couldn't forgive him so easily.

" Hey Hoya! Where's Tiffany?" The guys approached me. I greeted them and directed them upstairs. I stayed downstairs cause I didn't want to see Tiffany and Sookyung together. For some reason, it just bothers me. I sat on the bench, admiring the flowers. I took out the box in my pocket, and opened it. Looking at the necklace, a war raged in my mind.
* Should I give it to her today? Should I wait for Tomorow? Will she hate me if I asked her? What should I do!!* I just couldn't make up my mind. The necklace glimmered under the sunlight. The diamond shone, and it reminded me of Tiffany's eyes.

" That must have cost a fortune." I quickly closed the box and hid it in my pocket. I looked up just as Sungkyu hyung sat beside me.

" You don't have to say anything. If its for who I think it is, then you should do it. Give it to her. She's been through a lot lately and I'm sure you'll be able to inject some happiness into her. I'll be supporting you. Don't make the same mistake as I did, missed my timing and now I'm forced to watch her with another guy." With that, he got up and went to the cafeteria. I couldn't help but laugh. Knowing Sungkyu hyung, the first thing on his mind would be food. Somehow, Sungkyu hyung's speech helped me with my decision. I rushed up to find Tiffany. I bared into the room and grabbed Tiffany, dragging her to the guest's waiting room.

" Tiffany, there's something I have to tell you" she looked at me, puzzled as to why I was acting like this.

" Look, I know you're going though a rough time, and that this might not be a good time, but I have something important to tell you." I reached into my pocket and turned my back towards her. I could feel my heart beat quickly in my chest. I held the box tightly in my hand.

" Tiffany, would you be my -"

" Guys! You have to get inside, Sookyung is waking up!" The news reached my ears too late. I couldn't finish my sentence, and even if I did, I'm sure Tiffany wouldn't have heard me. Her expression showed shock, and then It turned into pure joy. That expression, I was sure I could never get her to smile like that. Tiffany dashed into the ward, leaving me standing there stupidly, holding a box like am idiot. Somehow, I missed my timing. I missed a golden opportunity and I was sure to regret it. I trudged back to the ward, shaking my head. I entered the room, sensing something was amiss. The atmosphere was too..... Negative. I looked at everyone and they all seemed dejected.
* Something's wrong.* I looked at Tiffany and she was in the corner, sobbing. I turned to Sookyung. Sure enough he was awake, but he seemed confused and.... Scared.

" where am I? And who are you people?"
