Ella POV:

"Soohyun oppa! Can you buy me this?" I ran up to the shop window in the mall.

"What do you want?" he walked over.

"This," I said.  I was pointing to the star necklace in the display.

"This girl...All right, Oppa will buy it for you," he gave in.

"Why are you calling yourself Oppa?" I asked.

"Oh, right.  You don't speak Korean well.  Well, if a guy is older than you, regardless if he's your brother or not, you should call him Oppa."

"So...all of you guys..." I said.

"Are your oppas." Soohyun responded, walking into the store.

"So, girls call older boys oppa, and boys call older boys hyung?" I asked.

"Right," Soohyun said.  He handed me the bag with the necklace inside.

"Thanks, Oppa." I smiled.

"No problem," he said.

Soohyun is nice.  Nicer than my own brother, in fact.

"Ice cream too!" I grinned like a little kid.

"Okay, okay," he said.

"Thanks," I said again.

So we went to the ice cream stand and he got chocolate and I got vanilla.  Yum.  We went up sitting at a fountain, eating our ice cream in silence.

"Hey oppa, you think I can go inside?" I asked.

"It says 'Do not enter'," he pointed to the sign.

"Oh oppa, I don't see any sign," I looked everywhere except the sign.

"Well Ella, I don't think you should...hey!" he yelled.

Pretending not to hear, I stood up, took off my shoes, and went in the fountain.

"Ella Kim! Get out of the water!" he exclaimed.

"No!" I ignored him and continued splashing around.

"I can't believe I'm doing this..." Soohyun muttered to himself before taking off his shoes and walking in after me.

"Yay! Oppa, you came to splash in the water too?" I asked.

"No.  I came to get you out of the water," he said.

"You're no fun," I stuck my tongue out, but got out of water anyway.

"Thank you," he said and got out after me.

"Haha oppa, you're soaked in water," I laughed.

"You are too," he laughed back.

"Mehrong!" I said.

"Mehrong." he replied.  "You know, you're really good at aegyo."

"What?" I asked.

"Aegyo is a cute act," Soohyun said.

"How do you know english words?" I asked.

"When you live with three guys who speak the language, you pick up bits and pieces," he said.

"Oh," I said.  And we walked back home.

Once I calmed down a bit, I realized how childish I was back at the fountain.  I turned toward Soohyun.  "Oppa, I'm sorry for acting all hyper back there.  It's just that I've never explored Seoul in forever," I said.

"It's all right. You were cute when you were hyper," he laughed and ruffled my hair.

"Where are you going now oppa?" I asked him.

"I have a schedule in an hour," he said.

"Oh. Can we go home then? It's starting to get cold," I said, rubbing my arms.

"Here," he handed me his jacket.

"But oppa, it's gonna get all wet," I said.

"It's OK," he said.

"Thanks oppa," I smiled again.  "You're really nice, for a guy."

"Care to explain?" he asked.

"Maybe later," I said.

We arrived home.  Eli yelled at Soohyun for letting me play in the water.  Then I said that it wasn't his fault.  Then Eli sent me to the shower.

What a meanie.
