A smile slowly crept on her lips. She then looked down to hide her face. They had been exchanging glances ever since the show started but would redirect their eyes to the performer or the audience after a few seconds.

Mina, who was beside her, scoffed. She looked at her unnie with a questioning look, trying to play innocent but she knew Mina didn’t buy it.

She knew that she had to be careful. Cameras were all over. Fans were also keen with regards to their actions.

The ceremony started a few minutes ago with such grandiose entrance. This event was obviously thought out carefully. Huge celebrities were even invited to present the awards for the winners.

“Best New Female Artist” Jihyo started. They were given the opportunity to present this award since they were the winners last year. It was just last year and it still felt fresh for her.

Retouches were done on them since they were set to perform anytime soon.

“Best Dance Performance Namja Group,” the presenters began. That took her attention. She looked at the huge flat screen TV in the dressing room.

A video of the nominees played. Her eyes were now glued to the TV. She was hoping his group would win. Actually, she hoped his group would win every single award for the male groups but that would be greatly biased.

“Bangtan Sonyeondan!” the presenters announced. She jumped off her seat and clapped. She was right, his group did win this award.

All of her members laughed at her action but she didn’t care. She was just clapping endlessly for him and his group.

“Good luck!” he mouthed again, must be pertaining to their performance. She nodded and smiled to him.

She looked down since she couldn’t handle his intense stare and proceed with walking to her members but deep inside, she actually wanted to hug him to ease her nerves.

“I’ll see you later,” she heard him whisper when she had passed by him. She couldn’t help but smile and look at him again. He was still smiling at her.

It was time for them to perform. They had a happy music factory concept.

She gave her all in that performance, hoping everyone would love it. The adrenaline rush she felt was unexplainable, especially knowing that he was also watching her.

They made their way backstage right after the performance. She saw a bottle of water in front of her. She looked up, wanting to see a specific person.

She was disappointed to see that it was just a staff member who was handing her the bottle of water.

“Someone asked me to give it to you,” the staff member expressed.

She took the bottle and smiled after seeing a sticky note in the bottle. She took the note which had “You did great! I miss you already,” on it and kept it.

She was bopping her head along with the music while clapping her hands. She had been enjoying the award ceremony so far. The performances were great but she had been awaiting for his group’s performance.
