“Urm.” Eun Ji said looking at you, Jin Hwan and especially Jin Hyun.

“Lee Eun Ji!” Jin Hyun shouted approaching Eun Ji.

“I can explain!” Eun Ji said.

“Then explain!” Jin Hyun shouted, “Before I choke this guy to death!”

“Choke me to what did you say?!” Lay asked looking at Jin Hyun.

“This guy…” Eun Ji said stuttering, “He’s…”

“He’s what?!” Jin Hyun shouted.

“Calm down, will you?” Lay asked.

“Seriously? You ask me to calm down?!” Jin Hyun shouted at Lay, “Just who do you think you are?!”

“Eun Ji’s partner?” Lay said.

“Eun Ji’s what?!” Jin Hyun asked.

“Oh, gosh Jin Hyun-ah! Calm down!” Your mom shouted.

“Umma-nim! How could you do this to me?!” Jin Hyun asked.

“I’m not doing anything!” Your mom shouted.

“Then, why are you defending this guy?!” Jin Hyun asked, “There must be something going on!”

“Well, yes there is!” Lay said.

“Shut up, Yi Xing!” Eun Ji shouted.

“See! You even ask him to shut up!” Jin Hyun shouted.

“Jin Hyun-ah, just let me explain!” Eun Ji said.

“Explain what?!” Jin Hyun shouted, “That this guy is your new boyfriend?!”

“WHAT?!” Everyone in the house shouted except Jin Hwan.

“Jin Hyun-ah!” Eun Ji said, tears started to form in her eyes.

“That’s it, I’m out of here.” Jin Hyun said and walked to the front door.

“I’m not her boyfriend, I thought you’re engaged to her.” Lay said.

Jin Hyun stopped walking and looked at Lay, “What did you say?”

“Well, you’re engaged to Eun Ji right?” Lay asked and Jin Hyun nodded, “Then why would I be her boyfriend?”

You approached Jin Hyun and pat his shoulder, “Jin Hyun-ah, this is Lay oppa. He is Eun Ji unnie’s partner for her dance assignment.”

“Assignment?” Jin Hyun asked.

“Yeah, assignment.” You said, “Our assignment is singing and unnie’s assignment is dancing.”

“Yeah and I’m her dance partner.” Lay said.

Jin Hyun was silent for a moment, and then suddenly he went to Eun Ji and shouted, “Why didn’t you tell me earlier?!”

“I was about to, but you were screaming at shouting like crazy!” Eun Ji said.

“You know I’m like that, just why don’t you tell me before this?!” Jin Hyun asked.

“I’m afraid that you’ll be mad at me.” Eun Ji said looking down.

“Why would I if it’s something that’s not bad, right?” Jin Hyun asked.

“I’m… sorry.” Eun Ji said crying quietly.

Jin Hyun then pulled Eun Ji in to a hug, “No, I’m sorry for shouting at you and at your partner.”

“Just call me Lay.” Lay said.

“Shh! You’re disturbing their moment.” Your mom whispered to Lay.

“No, seriously! It’s my fault, I’m sorry.” Eun Ji said crying harder.

“Then, don’t be.” Jin Hyun, “I’m not forgiving you because you didn’t do anything wrong to me.”

“But-”

“No buts, it’s okay.” Jin Hyun said.

“Jeez you two, get a room!” Lay said and you hit his head.

“Yah, let them be!” You said.

“Actually, I think they should.” Jin Hwan said and high fived Lay.

“Aish, hyung!” Jin Hyun said and broke the hug.

“What! This is my pay back.” Jin Hwan said, “You’ve said it to me a while ago.”

“Fine, I’ll take it.” Jin Hyun said and fist bumped Jin Hwan.

“Wait, are you two twins?” Lay asked and both Jin Hwan and Jin Hyun nodded their heads.

“Don’t be surprise.” Your dad said.

“Ani, I’m not.” Lay said.

“Well, since all the ruckuses are over, who wants some snacks?” Your mom asked and all of you raise your hand including your dad.

“Aigoo, you want some too, yeobo?” Your mom asked.

“Can’t I?” Your dad asked.

“Appa wants to be young again!” You shouted.

“Yeah right.” Eun Ji rolled her eyes.

“Okay then, Jin Hwan-ah where are the snacks?” Your mom asked.

“Here.” Jin Hwan said handing the plastic bags to your mom.

All of you sat down around the dining table, you sat next to Jin Hwan while Eun Ji sat next to Jin Hyun and your father sat across from Lay who is between Jin Hwan and Jin Hyun.

“Urm~ what’s all these sweets?” Your mom asked pulling the sweets out form the plastic bag.

“Oh, it’s mine!” Jin Hyun said snatching them from your mom.

“You’re eating sweets?” Lay asked.

“Neh, wae?” Jin Hyun asked back.

“Pfft! Just like kids.” Lay said.

“What, I think it’s cute!” Eun Ji said smiling at Jin Hyun.

“You think so?” Jin Hyun asked and Eun Ji just nodded, “Aww~ thanks chagiya!”

“Ew.” Lay said looking away.

“Don’t you think that’s sweet?” You asked.

“Sweet, my .” Lay rolled his eyes.

“Have you ever had a girlfriend?” Jin Hwan asked.

“I have, but I broke up with her a year ago.” Lay said.

“I think that’s the reason she broke up with you.” Jin Hwan said while you just giggled softly.

“Aish!” Lay said ruffling his hair.

“Don’t worry Lay-ah, you’ll found one soon.” Your mom said putting all the chips in one big bowl.

“I wish.” Lay said.

Suddenly, Lay’s phone rang and he picked it up.

“Yeobseyo?” he answered.

“Hyung, where are you?” the other line said.

“At a friend’s house, wae?” Lay asked.

“Come home quick, Kris hyung said so.” The other line said.

“Oh, okay. I’ll be there.” Lay said and hung up, “Excuse me, I’ll be leaving now.”

“Aww~ already?” Your mom asked.

“Wae? Are you afraid that we might tease you again?” Jin Hwan asked.

“Ani, there’s an emergency.” Lay said.

“Okay then, be careful on the road.” Your mom said.

“Neh, I will.” Lay said and was about to leave through the door when Eun Ji shouted.

“Yi Xing-ah, don’t forget tomorrow after school!” Eun Ji shouted, “At the dance studio!”

“Neh~!” Lay said, “I’ll be going now.”

“Bye!” You said and Lay left.

“What was that about?”Jin Hyun asked.

“We have practice after school.” Eun Ji said, “Don’t think it in a bad way.”

“Ani, I’m not.” Jin Hyun said, “Just curious.”

“Snack time!” Your mom shouted and put the bowl on the table.

“Gomawo umma!” All of you said except your father.

“Eun Mi-ah.” Jin Hwan called while you stuffed your mouth with chips.

“Hmm~” you responded and suddenly choked.

“Aish! Eat slowly!” Jin Hwan said handling you a glass of water.

“*cough* what is it?” You asked.

“I’m just wondering, have you picked a song yet?” Jin Hwan asked.

“Not yet.” You said drinking.

“Then will you come and practice with us again tomorrow?” Jin Hwan asked.

“Sure!” You said.

“Great! We’ll pick a song for you tomorrow, okay?” Jin Hwan said, and you just nodded.

*I wonder what song I should sing.* you thought while eating more chips.
