A Cliché Family FiftyOne Kibum wanted this family trip to be memorable. Maybe it is going to be but he didn't want it to be memorable like this. The car is completely broken, there is no way to they're going to be able to drive home. Taemin and Minho sit inside the car, frowns very present on their faces. He stands beside his husband and stares at their Audi with the hood open. It's stupid. The car is only a couple of years old, it shouldn't have broken down like this, but it has. Kibum huffs and brings his arms around his chest in order to save a little heat in the cold February.

"Tell me again why we took this weekend trip and ended up with a broken car in February?" he asks Jinki and Jinki turns around to look at his husband instead of the car.

"You wanted to go to the mountains to show our boys the beauty of it," he reminds the other and Kibum bites his lower lip. Maybe it was his fault that they ended up on this desolate road in the middle of nowhere. It wasn't his idea though, he'd read somewhere in a magazine that bonding with your family over nature would strengthen the bond and while Kibum adores his family and thinks they're close, there's always room for improvement.

When he had proposed the idea to the family all of them had protested thus he had taken the safe solution and just decided for all of them. Well, not Jonghyun because the 22-year-old had declined, saying he wasn't coming home. Even Gwiboon didn't want to join them. So here they were and none of them were quite happy about it.

"Can't you call someone to help us?" Kibum asks and Jinki sighs and closes the hood of the car.

"I don't know. Who should I call?" That is a great question. Jinki's mother can't possibly pick them up in her small car and Kibum's parents are too far away to even be an option. Jonghyun doesn't own a car and their friends are all unavailable or don't own a car big enough for 5 people. The car door opens and Minho peeks out.

"Are we stuck?" he asks and when Jinki nods, he groans and slams the door again. Kibum leans into his husband to teleport a thought of 'I'm sorry' to the other.

"Let's get inside the car as well, we're going to freeze out here," he says instead and Jinki just sighs again and gets into the car. Taemin is playing a game on his game boy and looks up when his parents get in. Minho just turns to look out the window, refusing to look at the two men in front. His attitude annoys Jinki who turns around in his seat and looks at his 20-year-old son.

"Minho, being mad doesn't help." Minho glares at his father but loses his anger shortly after. The car is getting cold without the engine on and all of them are starting to freeze despite their warm clothes.

"I guess we have to hitchhike," says Minho suddenly and Kibum turns around in his seat to look at the boy.
