Jaejoong’s POV

I went back to our suite, I found Inhee sitting down at the veranda.

“Hey…are you okay?” I asked, she was sitting down on one of the benches.

She sighed.

I sat beside her.

“Did you and Lee Donghae fight?” I asked. She looked at me.

She gave me a nod.

“Jaejoong?”

“Hmmm?”

“I know you need to know this, Donghae and I once dated.”

I looked at her.

“Two years ago, but I had to let him go.”

“Why? You knew I was coming?” I grinned. She hit my arm playfully.

“Aniya, after what happened with Jaebum, I thought he didn’t deserve to have a depressed girlfriend. I let him go.”

“That time, he was still new to his CEO position, so…yeah. I did that. I know I hurt him by doing that. But was afraid that I might be pulling him back.”

I pulled her to my side and made her lean on me.

“But, it’s okay now. We’re both successful.” She smiled at me.

Am I pulling you back?

“Do….you still like…him?” I asked.

“No. I’m over him.” She said while playing with her fingers.

“Really? But~”

“We’re done. That was two years ago.” She said as she fixed her hair.

I smiled at her back. I leaned in and kissed her hair.

“What…was that?” She looked at me.

“It’s a thank you gift for trusting me enough to tell me that.”

She laughed and rolled her eyes.

“I trust you, Jaejoong, even though you’re so random at times.”

Narrator’s POV

Jaejoong walked in the airport with Junsu and Yunho. The three of them were talking while Changmin and Inhee were still at the food booth.

Yoochun and Serin already went home earlier.

“Ya, you’re wife and our pig is getting along well.” Yunho grinned as he saw the two walking towards them with food.

“I just hope the snarkiness wont rub in on her.” Jaejoong nodded.

“Here.” Inhee handed him a cup of coffee.

“Did you buy out the whole stand?” Junsu asked as he scanned their bags.

Inhee laughed.

“Noona, see you in Seoul!” Chunji grinned as Inhee gathered her things. She slung her bag around her shoulder and got her Ipad.

“Okay, oh right, call me when you arrive, we still have that file to present to the board.”

Chunji nodded.

She was going to ride the Kims’ private jet instead of her family’s plane.

Your POV

“Finally, home sweet home!” I heard Jaejoong say as he landed on the couch at the living room.

“Do you want something to drink? Water?” I called out from the kitchen.

“Water would be nice, wifey!” He hollered.

I rolled my eyes and got a glass for him.

“Here.” I placed the glass on the table. He was still on the couch.

He was watching television again.

“It , it’s a Monday tomorrow. I want to sleep in.” He whined.

“That’s life Chief Executive Officer.” I grinned at him as I rolled my legs under me.

“I have tons of meetings piled up tomorrow.” He said while leaning back.

“Yeah, well me too. You’re not alone.”

“Ya, you know fully well that you don’t need to work right?”

I looked at him.

“I mean, we can even support 5 or more families.”

I shook my head at him.

“I like working, Jaejoong. I want to help my brothers too.”

Narrator’s POV

Jaejoong was right he had tons of meetings and papers to pay his attention to.

It was already 2 PM, he already had a light lunch in a rush. And he was exhausted. He sat back on his office chair and took off his coat.

“I heard you needed caffeine.” The door opened, revealing a smiling Inhe wearing a black body con skirt and a tan sheer blouse.

“What brings the CEO of Ho Corporation here?” Jaejoong said.

Inhee placed his coffee in front of him and leaned on the table. She faced the floor length glass window behind Jaejoong. The view was exquisite.

“You’re not busy?”  Jaejoong looked up at her.

“I am. Actually I came here to ask for permission.”

“What?”

“I’m leaving for Busan this afternoon, I wont be back until tomorrow afternoon.” Inhee looked at him.

“You’re asking for permission, why?”

“I’m being a good wife here.” Inhee rolled her eyes.

“Whom are you coming with?” Jaejoong asked.

“Me and Chunji. We have to check the new commercial spaces.”

“I guess that’s okay.” Jaejoong scratched the back of his head.

“What are those? That’s a lot.” Inhee eyed the folders in front of him.

“I have to review these. All of these.” Jaejoong sighed.

“You’re being lazy nowadays. Anyway, I need to go.” Inhee stood up and got her bag.

Jaejoong stood up and looked at her expectantly.

“….What?” Inhee raised her brows.

“What, no hug?” Jaejoong grinned while opening his arms.

Inhee smiled and went into his embrace. She felt his strong arms circle around her waist.

“Be careful, don’t eat seafood.”

Inhee let go of him.

“Understood.” She grinned as she went out of the office.

Jaejoong’s POV

I smiled at her as she closed the door. It was sweet of her to tell me about her plans beforehand. I held up the coffee she brought. Somehow, seeing her already brightens up my day.

I went back to my papers. It was arpund 4 PM when Yunho called.

“Anything up?” I asked.

“Oh, yeah. I have the proposals for the new Duty Free Shilla in Chuncheon. I’ll send it tomorrow afternoon. You don’t need it right away, right?”

“Thanks, it’s okay, I wont need it in the morning.”

I placed my phone down.

“Is Inhee in Busan now?” I muttered.
