“So this is what you do…” Jaejoong nodded to himself while walking a few steps behind Inhee. She was busy browsing through a catalogue. His hand was unconsciously on her back.

They were inside a convention center, different companies were displaying products and other furniture.

“Oh, it’s Miss Ho.” One man went to her. Jaejoong looked at him.

“Oh, Mr. Yong, good afternoon.” She greeted.

“Waa, it’s been a lot time, you’ve gotten a lot prettier.” The guy said.

Jaejoong’s eyebrows rose.

“Junhyung-ah. What are you doing here? New branch?” Inhee asked.

“Ani, I came for product surveillance.” Junhyung replied.

Inhee nodded.

“After this, let’s have coffee together~”

“Hey, who you talking to?” Jaejoong placed his arm securely around her waist, slightly annoyed.

He was wearing a tighter than skinny jeans smile.

“Oh, Jaejoong, this is Yong Junhyung, CEO of Yong Industries, Junhyung this is Kim Jaejoong my~”

“~husband, nice to meet you, Mr. Yong.” Jaejoong said.

Well, someone’s a bit….possessive.

Your POV

Jaejoong didn’t remove his arm. I had to walk with him always beside me.

“Ya, what are you doing? We don’t have to act like this here.” I chided.

“I don’t want to. Should I get a bigger ruby?” He mumbled while eyeing my necklace.

“What?” I asked.

“Nothing.” He grinned back.

“So, what do you think?” I asked as I pointed a few textiles on the catalogue.

“They all look the same to me.”

“Cream is different from ecru, Mister Kim.”

He shrugged.

“After this, we can go home already~”

“Jae?”

We both turned.

Serin.

He suddenly dropped his arm around me.

“Oh, Serin-ah, you’re here.” He greeted her.

“Yeah, you? I didn’t know~”

“Not me, I’m here for In~”

I gripped his hand once.

“I’ll go to the restroom.” I excused myself.

I don’t hate her, but it doesn’t mean I can stand her. Right?

I made my way to restroom and checked my reflection. I entered one of the cubicles.

I was about to go out when I heard some ladies talking.

“Did you see her? Cho Serin!....I heard her mother is forcing her to date rich young men….Aigoo, how dirty……They own an accounting firm, right?....Yeah, I heard her parents are trying to set her up with Mr. Ho.”

I froze.

WHAT?!

“Mr. Ho?.....Ho Corporation….But he’s too young……Aniya, the older one, Ho Nichkhun….Now that’s a good catch..He’s so good looking.”

I waited for them to exit before I did.

Ho Nichkhun? Nichkhun? Khunnie? Khun oppa? My older brother?!

Oh, she will not touch our golden boy. NO.

They want my brother for her? Her parents…whaaaa?

Innie, relax, it’s just gossip, it’s pointless. I shook my head and exited the place.

I looked around the room for Jaejoong.

Serin’s POV

“How have you been?”

“I’m okay.” He replied.

“You’ve been avoiding me.” I stated.

“Ani, how could you say that?” He said while looking around.

“Jae, I know you. I know that I made things…difficult for us, but believe me, I like you. I understand that you’re married right now, and you don’t love her~”

He looked at me.

“That’s the point, Rin, I’m married.”

“But we can make things work out, I love you, Jae.”

“I’m~”

“Jaejoong-ah?” Inhee’s hand was on his elbow.

I felt my insides turn.

“Oh, you’re done, ready to leave?” Jaejoong asked while smiling at her.

“I’m done here, but do you guys have to talk? I can go ahead~”

“We need to talk~” I started.

“No, we’re done, let’s go, I’ll drive you home.”

Inhee nodded at me as Jaejoong with his arm around her pulled her away.

This cant be, I met him first. He fell in love with me, not her!

Narrator’s POV

“Oh, oppa, you wanted to meet?” Soomin entered Chunji’s office.

“Yeah, how are you doing?” He asked he gave her a hug.

“I’m okay, you? You look stressed.” She said as she traced the dark circles under his eyes.

“I’m okay, it’s a part of the adjustment process.” He grinned.

“Are you busy? It’s almost dinner and yet you’re still here.”

“No, I’m done here, let’s eat together.” Chunji said.

“Oppa, something’s strange.”

“What?” Chunji asked.

“Remember my cousin? Jaebum oppa.”

Chunji’s grip on his fork tightened.

“Why?”

“A few days ago, he kept on asking about us…how we met and stuff. He asked about Inhee unnie too, a lot.” Soomin nodded.

Chunji could only smile. He was thinking that Jaebum might be up to something.

“Oh, right, how’s unnie and oppa doing?”

“Khun hyung?” Chunji was disoriented for a while.

Sooomin nodded.

“They’re doing well.” Chunji replied with a smile.

“Tomorrow night~~” Soomin started.

“Niel’s birthday party.”

“What should we get him?” She asked.

“Duct tape, for his mouth.” Chunji grinned.

“Ya!” Soomin laughed.
