Chapter 69
I'm Marrying You?!Narrator’s POV
Inhee was walking in the lobby of their company; she was talking with some of their investors. She was speaking about the new proposal on the hotel they wanted to situate at Gunsan.
“Chief, uhmm.” Her secretary looked at someone a few feet away from them.
A smile played on her lips as she excused herself.
The investors watched as she walked away, they admired the new couple.
“Busy?” Jaejoong asked.
“Not really, what brings you here?” She asked.
Jaejoong noticed that some of the investors were eyeing his wife unpleasantly. Well, to him it was unpleasant.
“I had a meeting with your brother. You just had a meeting?”
Inhee nodded.
“The party’s tonight, go home early, okay?”
“Yes, Creative Director.” Jaejoong grinned.
“Anyway, I’ll be leaving now, I’ll see you later.” He said as he swiftly kissed her forehead and left.
In his mind he was practically yelling,
She’s mine, idiots!
He walked out of the building with a smirk on his face.
Your POV
Seriously, he has to stop being so…..UGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH.
“Ya, are you okay?” Oppa waved his hand in front of my face.
“Uh,,,oh? Yeah, I’m okay.” I replied.
“You were zoning out, baby. Is something up?”
I shook my head and sat on one of the leather couches.
“Let me guess, you’re bored in your office?” Khun oppa said as he sat down on his chair.
I shrugged.
“The party tonight~”
“I know, I’ll be going.”
“You have to.” He smirked.
Then the double doors opened.
“Oh, dongsaeng-ah, good timing, take your sister out to play.”
I threw a piece of paper at him. Chunji grinned.
“I came here to hand these in, hyung.” Chunji placed a thick brown envelop on the table.
“Chunji-ya, let’s eat out!”
“Your treat noona?” Ji asked.
I nodded.
“So how’s Soomin?” I asked as we both sat down with our sundaes.
“She’s okay, she wants to help with their family business.”
“Chunji-yah, about her cousin~”
Chunji’s brows furrowed.
“Don’t worry, the other day I spoke with Jaebum~”
“MWO?!”
I placed both of my hands on his shoulders to calm him down.
“He asked for forgiveness, I forgave him. I realized that if I forgive him maybe it would help ease the nightmares, after all, nobody’s perfect, we all make mistakes.”
“Noona, he~”
“We grew up together, we have more good memories than bad ones.” I smiled reassuringly.
Chunji nodded and went back eating his ice cream.
“Which reminds me, I haven’t met Soomin’s parents yet, I would really love to meet them, Ji.”
Chunji shook his head at me.
Narrator’s POV
Inhee stood up in front of the floor length mirror. She examined the Dolce and Gabbana dress she was wearing.
“I think people would be speechless when they see you.” Jaejoong said out of the blue.
“Ya!” Inhee tried to calm her thudding heart.
Jaejoong grinned; he was casually leaning on the doorway of her walk-in closet.
“How long have you been here?” She asked as she slipped in to a pair of Manolos.
“Long enough.” He walked towards her.
He stood behind her.
“This would match the dress.” He said as he placed a pearl necklace around her neck.
Inhee looked at him through the mirror.
“Jaejoong, where~”
“I was out today, and I saw this, I immediately thought of you.” He smiled while rubbing the back of his neck.
Inhee bit her lip, her cheeks heating up.
“Thank you.”
Jaejoong just smiled and exited the room.
Jaejoong’s POV
Inhee and I arrived at the venue together. She wanted to come late to avoid the media, but it didn’t work. As soon as we stepped in the lobby we were bombarded.
“How are you holding up?” I asked playfully as she placed her arm around mine.
“I’m blind.” She muttered. I chuckled. The camera flash must have gotten to her.
“Should I get you a drink?” I asked as we stepped in the hall.
“No, I’m fine, Oh! It’s Long legs oppa, let’s go.” She said enthusiastically.
“Hello, Inhee sister.” Junsu greeted her. I saw Yoochun smile.
“Ya, I heard you broke up with your third girl this week.” I said.
Inhee looked at Yoochun and me.
“Yeah, I did. Too bad, Inhee, you should have arrived earlier~”
“Chun, let’s not ruin our sister’s mind okay?” Yunho said while taking Inhee’s hand.
I raised one brow at him.
“We’re going to get something to eat.” He announced.
Inhee looked at me, her eyes were searching.
I gave her a nod, she smiled and went with Yunho.
“Hyung, you’re so slow. You should confess already, or do you want me to do it for you?” Yoochun said. I hit the back of his head.
“But, Yoochunnie hyung is right, hyung, you should confess, we’ve told you this many times already.” Changmin said.
Junsu stood there, silent. We all looked at him.
“That man over there, he looks familiar.” Su was referring to the guy who just came in.
“I think I’ve seen him on tv.” Yoochun nodded.
“Ah, him. LeeDong Corporation’s CEO, my company’s dealing with them.” Changmin said.
I think I’ve seen him somewhere too.
Your POV
Yunho oppa left me talking with Soomin and Bom.
“Ya, his friend likes you too?” Bom said. I hit her hand playfully.
“Be quiet.” I said, Soomin laughed.
“Mianhae, Soomin-ah, Bom’s weird.” I said.
“Mianhae-ya, Soomin, my friend’s a bit dense.”
“Ya!” I said.
“Tsk tsk, you two still bicker?” A voice said behind us.
We both turned to the voice.
He was dressed in a pristine black tuxedo. A teasing smile was on his face.
“How are you doing, doll?”
