Chapter 67
I'm Marrying You?!Your POV
“Oppa! I missed you!” I greeted my brother with a hug.
“I missed you too, kid, now sit down.” He said.
We both sat down in the living room. Butler Jang came in and served some snacks.
“Jaejoong left already?” He asked.
“Yeah, he did. But Oppa, what brings you here?” I asked.
“Umma and Abeoji are coming home next week, and they’re holding a party.”
I nodded.
“Is it for the new mall opening?” I asked.
“That and sort of a welcome back to you.”
“Ah, okay, when?”
“Next Saturday. I heard you’re starting work tomorrow?”
I beamed at him proudly.
“Be careful.” He patted my head.
“Of course golden boy.” I grinned.
It was a clear Monday morning. I’m starting work tomorrow.
I was sitting in the living room, reading when I realized something, without Jaejoong the house felt empty.
Should I visit him?
I’m basically free anyway. And he has been really worried over me, yeap, I should go get him some coffee.
Narrator’s POV
Jaejoong’s was talking to his secretary when a light tap on the door was heard.
Inhee peeked.
“Is this a bad time?” She asked. Jaejoong smiled.
“Not at all, come in.”
His secretary bowed politely and exited.
“Here.” She gave him the coffee she ordered.
“I know you hate the mild ones, so here it is, black coffee.” She smiled.
“Thanks, but you shouldn’t be running around the city yet.”
“It’s okay, I’ll be working tomorrow anyway.”
Jaejoong rolled his eyes playfully and drank his coffee.
“What brings you here anyway?”
Because the house feels empty without you.
“I had no one to talk to.”
Jaejoong chuckled.
“Say what, let’s have lunch together. You can go ahead and I’ll just follow, I still have some things to finish.”
“That’s good! You’re treat?”
“Yes, young miss.”
Inhee smiled and headed to the door.
“Don’t be late.” She said in a playful strict voice.
Jaejoong smiled at her direction as she left.
Jaejoong’s POV
I felt my heart relax as Inhee went out. How can she look so beautiful?
I went out of my office and headed to the conference room.
“Hyung, is it true?” Junsu asked as we both got out of the meeting.
“About?”
“Serin, she’s leaving in a few weeks.”
I nodded.
“She told me a week ago.”
“You should have told us, hyung.”
“I thought she already told you.”
“Are you okay with her leaving?” He asked.
“Honestly, no.”
Junsu stopped walking.
“But..but….Inhee~”
“No, it’s not like that. I hurt Serin. I should have told her that I didn’t love her anymore from the start, to save her from the pain.”
Junsu nodded.
“Anyway, I have to go, lunch with Inhee.” I patted his shoulder and went ahead.
Narrator’s POV
Inhee entered the restaurant. It was one of the trendiest places in the city, it offered a wide array of dishes.
“Table for two?” The waiter asked. She nodded.
She was led to a table near the floor length window.
She sat down and took out her Ipad.
“Inhee-ya?”
Her fingers froze across the screen. She looked up.
She was about to stand.
“Don’t go, I only have a few things to say.” Jaebum said.
“Can I seat?”
She nodded meekly, still hesitant.
“I know what I did before was unforgivable, I wont force you to forgive me, Inhee.”
“I just want to apologize, I never had the chance to say sorry.” He smiled lightly.
“I’m sorry Inhee.”
“And congratulations on getting married.” He said.
“I’ll be going now. Take care.” He was about to stand.
“Wait, Jaebum….oppa- you-”
“-take care too.” She smiled.
Jaebum nodded and left.
“Did you wait long? Mian, I had some things too~”
“No, you’re not.” Inhee grinned.
“You seem happy, did something happen?” Jaejoong queried.
She nodded.
“Jaebum and I talked-”
She saw Jaejoong tense in his seat.
“-he asked for forgiveness, I forgave him. It feels good.” She said.
“He didn’t~”
“No, he just said that and left.”
Jaejoong smiled seeing how that made her happy.
“Let’s eat, I still have to drop by Bom’s botique after this.”
“Let me guess, you’re going to be her human Barbie doll again?” Jaejoong asked.
Inhee laughed.
Jaejoong watched her as she laughed, they way her eyes would twinkle made him all warm and happy inside.
After eating, the couple walked out of the restaurant.
“I’ll see you later.” Inhee was about to walk away, but Jaejoong held onto her wrist.
“Be careful while driving.” He reminded. Inhee nodded solemnly, but her lips were twitching.
“I’m not joking.” He said.
“Arasso, arasso, you’re much worst than my brother.” Inhee grinned. Jaejoong smiled at her and kissed her forehead.
Inhee’s eyes widened.
“I’ll see you later then.” He said and walked to his car.
