Chapter 3: The Past

Drip. Drip. Drip.

The last drop of blood dripped into the glass cup. Recently, these brutal images were flashing infront of her eyes, each one appearing in her mind. In the dark, sunless cave, the devilish nightmares did not stop for any moment. Why she did want to escape, but she did not have the power to persevere. She could not do anything. Holding that glass up, she reached the devil one step at a time, and delivered it to him. 

"Sir, your..."

While words were left unsaid, he had already opened his eyes, and red irises were staring at her, forcing her to the words back into her stomach. 

"Why the shaking? Are you still afraid of me?" He took the cup from her, and his eyes poured out disdain. 

"Dont be afraid. Don't be afraid. I won't do anything to you. Look, tonight's waning moon is not bad. Do you want to go take a look?" 

For a moment, there were no sounds. She stood stunned. This question was asked unexpectedly, that she did not know how to reply. 

"What? Startled dumb? Being dumb will cause you to have no value to me." The words ended. She felt herself get pulled into him, and a chill on her neck. Of course! It would be difficult for her to escape unscathed. Since it is so, she shut her eyes, waiting for the moment to come.
