Days passed and the killings didn't stop. Exo and BAP also never failed to fulfill their duties as the bodyguards. They made you feel secure and at ease that the nightmares faded away, even the images that lingered in your brain eventually disappeared.

When your confidence came back, you decided to hit the road one morning. You took the same route, greeted the same people, breathe the same cool air.

With the same beats coming out of the earplugs, you passed by an empty park and decided to drop by for some stretching.

You raised both arms up as much as you can, even tiptoeing to reach higher. ‘Aigooo~’ you bent sideward and heard your bones cracking. ‘Hahaha~ I think I need to do this more often!’

After straightening up, you shook your arms and legs, bending your head from side to side.

Your muscles started to relax, the burn in your calves vanished, you even felt your blood flowing smoothly.

You failed to realize that a pair of eyes has been watching your back since you stepped into the park. He was in the middle of his morning jog when his nose picked up a very familiar scent.

He can’t pinpoint exactly what or where but it brought hazy images in his brain. There's something breathtaking about the way your blood smelled, the way your heart beats, the way your hair flow with the wind.

As you turned to head home, a strikingly beautiful guy stood 10 meters across your path. Tall and broad-shouldered, with a mop of dark hair, brows that were offset by a boyish frame, tanned, and with a pair of nearly black flaming eyes.

It brought you back that same night, scared and disoriented. He was looking straight at you, you just stared back helplessly. ‘Those eyes... Ani! Ani! It’s impossible!’ you blinked and looked away.

You forced your feet to move, kept your head down to avoid his gaze, to avoid his path.

In hopes to escape his burning stare, you moved further to the side then, “AAHHHH!!!” you bumped into a metal pole, it vibrated and so did your brain.

He snorted. ‘Hahaha! Klutz!’

You shot him a glare while rubbing your throbbing temple. ‘Aish!’

The guy ran up to you and flinched when he touched your shoulder. “Gwenchana?”

“YES!” you snarled and started walking away.

“Hey miss! I’m sorry alright? I can’t help it! It’s just too funny!” he chuckled.

“Keep laughing then!” you started jogging. “Jerk!” you murmured.

He followed your suit and reached out a hand. “Hi! I’m Minho, by the way!”

You quickly looked at his hand and increased your pace. “Oh ! I think I forgot my name!” you rubbed the swelling on your head and forced a smile.

Minho persisted and caught up with you. “You seem familiar. Did we meet somewhere?”

“I don’t think so! I’m anti-social, so the chances are slim to nil.”

“But…” he reasoned, yet you sprinted away.

Minho stopped and watched you gain distance. The more he thinks of you, the more his head hurts. The more he avoids you, the more his thirst goes unquenchable. ‘I met you somewhere! I can feel it! But where? HOW??? URRGGGHHHHH!!!’ he kicked his foot on the ground.

“Woah! Woah! What’s wrong babe?” Suho met you at the door, fuming mad.

“There’s some jerk I met at the park!” you sneered and unknowingly touched the lump on your head. “AAAHHHH! Apa!”

He lowered your hand and carefully bent your head. “Yah! What jerk? He did this?”

“Ani!” you frowned. “I bump into a pole…”

“Come here… I don’t think we need Lay for this…” Suho dragged you to the kitchen and snatched a pack of frozen peas from the fridge. “Better?”

You nodded.

“Sit here…” he guided you an empty chair while everybody else have breakfast.

“Noona! What happened?” Sehun mumbled.

“Got jinxed! Pft!” you scoffed.

Suho sat beside you while keeping a hand on your head. “Who’s the jerk?”

“I dunno… Some random stranger and I don’t’ wanna talk about it!” you nagged.

“Fine! But you’re no longer allowed to go jogging all alone! ARASEO!” he pointed a finger to your face.

“Neeehhhh~” you obliged.
