David walked down the hall where we waited and into the audition room.

It’s been about two hours since I was in that room and auditions are finally over. Everyone was just pacing around waiting to see who would get picked. My nerves were racing and my heart pumped with excitement. I can’t believe this was really happening if I got picked it would be amazing.

David came back from the room with five animal masks, the same one the boys had on.

He handed me and Tyler a mask, mine was a chipmunk and Tyler’s was a lion. He directed us to go back into the room but to put the mask on before we entered. We put them on and so did three other dancers. We all walked into the room where all five of the boys stood facing us, I couldn’t really see their faces because the mask covered up most of my view.

“Hi everyone we’re Big Bang one of the many Kpop Korean groups in well… Korea. Our comeback is in a few more weeks and we chose you five dancers to help us make it the best. So congratulations you made it through auditions” one of the boys said.

Big Bang, I heard that name before but where have I heard it from? Everyone began to clap and the voice started to talk again.

“I know you guys are probably wondering why you have the masks on that we wore earlier so I’ll tell you. Each of you have been given these mask which represents the member that picked you and liked your dancing the best. You’ll find out later who picked you after we properly introduce ourselves so remember what mask you have. You may take them off now” the voice said finishing.

I took my mask off and shock washed over me, there stood the boys I seen at Dot’s and Rocsi’s. I looked at them one by one, when I got to Daesung he gave me a warm smile. Next to Daesung was him…oh my gosh, him was Taeyang! That's where I heard the name Big Bang before, Taeyang was one of the members. Aigoo~ I can’t believe I danced to one of his songs right in front of him, even better I danced with him and didn’t even know it. I looked at him with an amazed expression and he looked at me the same. We stared at each other while the one in the middle introduced himself.

“Hi everybody I’m Kwon Jiyong or as I go on stage G-dragon” he said, but even as he talked Taeyang and I never broke our gaze.

“Hi I’m Seungri” the youngest one said.

“I’m Choi Seung Hyun but please call me TOP” the one next said, his voice was very deep.

“I’m Kang Daesung, how’s it going?” he said. His voice was just as friendly as when we first met.

There was a quiet long pause when Jiyong cleared his throat and Daesung bumped Taeyang lightly. The other boys looked at me and my cheeks burned with embarrassment. Our gaze had broken and Taeyang cleared his throat.

“I’m Taeyang” he said quietly but loud enough for us to hear.

“You guys can introduce yourselves if you want” Jiyong offered.

“I’m Kori” said one of the girl dancers. I had seen her around the studio before she was a good dancer, I wondered who picked her.

“I’m Daniel”. I seen Daniel a lot, I worked on a couple of routines with him.

“I’m Max, nice to meet you guys” he said with a wide smile on his face.

“I’m Tyler”. Tyler gave a wave.

There was another long quiet pause when I realized that they were waiting for me to introduce myself.

“Oh…sorry” I apologized quietly.”I’m Amaya” I said giving a small wave movement.

Everyone started to mingle around and talk a little more. Tyler had been wrapped up in a conversation with TOP so I eased over to the corner and sat down. I watched as everyone talked and laughed, the only one who wasn’t doing anything was Taeyang. I looked over at him watching him look down at the floor when he gazed up and looked straight up at me.

I froze as he slowly made his way over. Was he coming over here to talk to me…well of course he was there was no one else around me. Uh, I was still embarrassed about dancing with him and not knowing it. Aing!

“Hey…Amaya right?” he asked.

“Yeah” I said shyly.

“Do you mind if I sit?” he said looking at the empty space next to me.

“I don’t mind” I said patting the empty space. He sat down and my heart started to do summersaults.

“Congratulations!” he said smiling.

“Thanks” I said looking down.

“You’re a great dancer, I really loved your routine” he said. He didn’t seem nervous like he was in the club a little shy but not nervous.

“Thanks, I practiced hard”. Oh gosh I sound so stupid  say more than a couple of words! I screamed to myself.

“I hope you don’t have many bags to pack cause were leaving soon” he said looking down at the floor now. I guess he was starting to get nervous. MingLee you’re making things awkward!

“Pack? Where are we leaving to?” I asked curious.

“To where we are from…Korea” he said still looking down. My head started to spin, was I sure I heard him right?

“Did you just say Korea?” I asked looking up at him.

“Yeah…Aigoo that was supposed to be the good news don’t tell Jiyong I told you that ” he said covering his mouth up.

“Um…excuse me, I have to go” I said quickly getting up. He got up with me but I walked away before he could gain his balance back. I went off got  my stuff and left to go to my apartment.

We are going to have to leave to go to Korea…this wasn’t good news at all.
