Elayna woke up feeling dizzy. She look around and saw herself in bed in her room "Eh? How did I get home?" she ask aloud. Then she saw someone sleeping soundly by her bed. Wearing a white jacket and black t-shirt inside with white pants, blonde hair with slight parting. She knew who it was as she examined closer and saw the person's eyes flew open. Elayna jumped and crawled away, afraid. 

"Ren?" she said

He smiled and nodded "You still remember me Elayna" he said, his voice still the same. Elayna was freaking out "H-how is this possible? You died right in front of my eyes!" she yelled out in panic. 

"Miracle happened Elayna" he answered her and she shook her head "No! This can't be happening! I'm hallucinating again" she ran away to a far corner of her room only to be caught by Ren, who hugged her from behind causing her to yelp. He covered hoping she won't scream

"Shhh...Elayna...relax" he said calmly. She turned around facing him and felt her heart fluttering. "How is this a miracle? Is damn scary!" she told him and he couldn't help but laugh. "Still the same Elayna" he said chuckling slightly making Elayna pout. 

"Hey! Stop laughing! It's not funny!" she said, in annoyed tone of voice. He stopped laughing and gently touches her chin pulling it up slightly towards him "I promise you, even if it risk my life I'll do anything to protect you" 

"What do you mean by that Ren?" she ask but he smirked. "It means I'll be here forever even if it means my death a plentiful of time, but I will be reincarnated just like the flaming Phoenix." 

Her eyes widen and knew it all made sense. "Phoenix..." she murmured "So...that means..that was you that day" she said in shock. He smirked. "I still wonder how long it took for you to  figure it out..still dense as ever" he said and Elayna hit him "pabo" she had tears rolling down from her eyes. "You left me and now you come back! What do you take me for!" 

Ren just let her hit him until he felt her calmed down. He looked down and saw her now fast asleep onto his chest. He grabbed her arm opening up her hand placing it onto his cheek

"Elayna...even if I die again and again I will come back. I just don't want to see you cry all alone without me" he watch as her sleeping soundly as he smiled and placed her hand back to her chest.

He saw the bump and placed a hand on it. He watch her as she sleep. Then he heard a knock and he quickly flew out her window. From outside he saw her dad coming in with a tray of food. He placed the tray on a table and went to her bed, letting out a soft sigh before kissing her forehead gently and got up to leave the room. 

He turned around and Ren heard his voice "You don't have to hide Ren" Ren was surprised. he came closer to her window and came in. Kris turned around facing Ren who looked at him with a calm expression. "You came back" Kris said and Ren nodded "I have to.." 

"What is the reason why you're here Minki" Ren was surprised Kris called him by his real name "To protect Elayna and make her mine" 

"Is that what is says in the Book of Prophecy in Nu'est?" Kris ask and Ren nodded "Yes...she is my destined one" Kris look around the room and said "Come with me and talk in my study" Kris said before leaving. Ren nodded and followed behind as he closed the door and followed Kris to his study. 

"Is there anything else she has to know about?" Kris ask and Ren look up at him "No, what the Book of Prophecy say is that the person who is the next descendant to inherit the Eclipse ring are destined to be the next queen and shown more greater power than before" Ren explained

"I see....then what is this I hear about a battle between her and Nu'est?" Kris ask full of anticipation wanting to know more. 

"They want the Eclipse ring so to give to our king, King Yunho so he could expand more power to our planet" Ren explained "And since then the rest of Nu'est has been looking for her" 

"I see" Kris said shortly. He look at Ren and said "are you aware of her condition right now?" 

Ren look up and said "I'll take responsibility" Kris raised his eyebrow slightly "And how are you going to do so?" 

"Sir, I like to ask permission to marry your daughter" Ren said cloud and clear enough to be echoed across the room. Kris knew this person in front of him is really sincere "You have my permission. On one condition: You hurt Elayna in any sort of way you will deal with me! Got it?" 

Then they heard a voice "Dad! Stop being so harsh to Ren" Elayna said as she came in the study. "Oh Elayna. You're awake. Is there anything you want?" 

Elayna shook her head. "No....dad....stop being so overprotective of me" she said as she slightly glare at him and Ren. "Dad can I talk with Ren for a minute, in private?" she ask and Kris nod leaving the study. 

He stood in front of her and tried to wrap his arm around her but she moved away making him feel disappointed "Ren.." she called him "Why did you come back?" she stared deep into his eyes "Why now? After I thought you are gone forever...why now?" 

He stood right in front of her and look straight into her eyes. "Let's go" he said grabbing her hand and soon flew out of the window upwards towards the countryside."W-where are you taking me?" Elayna ask and Ren smiled

"Someplace" he answered as she gripped onto his jacket tightly, her knuckles becoming white. She closed her eyes and then she felt solid ground beneath her feet. She look down and saw that there was a small river and saw the sun setting. It was a beautiful sight.

"Where are we Ren?" she ask but look around and he wasn't there. "Ren? Ren!" then she felt a pair of arms covering her eyes as she turned around and she felt a pair of lips on hers. She couldn't help but moan as she felt the familiar feeling. "Ren...stop.." she pushed him slightly as he wrapped an arm around her waist. 

"Elayna...what can I do to convince you to forgive me" he said "because you won't listen to my explanation"  he added. Elayna frowned and turned around facing the river. "You already know why I'm acting this way Ren, why do I need to listen" 

"Elayna" he came closer placing his arms around her waist as he whispered in her ear "I hope you still love me" Elayna turned to face him "What are you talking about!" 

"I can tell you still do" he said with a small smirk. Elayna became irritated. "Shut up" she slightly hit his chest as he gently grabbed her wrist placing it to his heart "My heart is here for you" he moved his hand towards her own "and I hope your heart does too"

Her heart was pounding loudly in her chest melting the inner feeling she had after knowing he came back, just for her. "Ren...I-" she was cut off when she felt his lips pressed softly onto hers as she wrapped herself around him. She knew she still love him, eventhough the feeling of loss was now gone seeing him again was worth it. 

That night they stayed under the dark skylight sleeping side by side. She was fast asleep but Ren watched as she sleep peacefully in his arms. He kissed her forehead and whispered "My eternal promise to you to always love you forever and never ever stop protecting you, my destined one"

She slightly moved and he moved his arm closer. He smiled and soon his eyes were soon closed and fell into a deep peaceful sleep by her side. 

She doesn't know what fate has prepare for her and not knowing what else she will be up against in the near future as it is still unclear. What will happen next? Stay tuned!
