For the next few days Elayna watched as the couple were being prepared for their wedding day. Outside she show only a smile but behind it lies heartbreak. In the safe place of the room she cried bawling her eyes out as only baby Minki get to see her cry. 

Often she have to pretend to smile in front of everyone to hide the fact that she was sad but does't show it anyone until one day Elayna didn't shut her door properly and cried so much she started coughing violently but she kept on crying until she felt a warm hand touching her forehead before she fell into an unconscious state. 

When she woken up she was still in bed and she saw her surrounding. She saw Queen Hyori smiling at her and Elayna was confused. "W-what happened?" 

"You were unconsious Elayna." Queen Hyori said "It seems that you have caught a fever" Elayna let out a soft sigh and it caught the queen's attention

"Tell me what's on your mind" she said and Elayna looked at the queen unsure of to tell her. "It's nothing. I'm fine your higness" Elayna answered 

"Our Minki and Seolhyun has been friends since they were young" Queen Hyori started and Elayna listened knowing it's hard to avoid it. 

"He's always been a weak child since he was young but Seolhyun always comes and accompany her and they were close until a war broke down many many years ago" 

Elayna look down "They are meant to be together" the queen said and Elayna knew she has finally been defeated to Ren's heart. She look up at the queen with tears in her eyes.

"Is our Minki the father of the infant, Elayna?" the queen ask and it shocked Elayna and she nodded "Y-yes your highness. He...is." Elayna started sobbing again covering her face to hide the tears in her eyes.

Elayna cried and cried until she couldn't cry any longer and almost out of breath. She calmed down and wiped the tears as she realized the queen was right in front of hr watching her cry throughout the whole time. She felt embarrassed. "I'm sorry. I've been rather emotional lately"

Queen Hyori smiled "It is alright." She said and Elayna wiped the last of her tears and saw baby Minki was already wide awake. 

Queen Hyori picked the baby up and held it up proudly in her arms. "I see he has his father's nose" she said "and he has his chin" 

Elayna couldn't help but laugh. "Yes, too many similarities your highness" she said with a wide smile. "He's the next heir to the throne"she heard the queen said and it made Elayna suprised

"Eh? What do you mean?" Elayna ask still surprised. The queen took one look at Elayna and said "He is the heir to the Nu'est throne and that's that" 

Elayna was in a dilemma. "No your highness! Please, not Minki! He's all I have left!" she started to cry. Elayna knew there's no use in arguing as it is the queen's decision. 

Elayna soon was left in the room alone with baby Minki and she couldn't help but cry once again. "What should I do Minki-ah" 

"They're gonna take not just your appa, but you too from me" she said sobbing. Elayna held baby Minki to her chest clutching him tightly, "I won't forgive myself if I let them take you!"

Then an idea struck her. "Let's go Minki! Let's run away!" she said and wiped the tears from her eyes and placed him on the bed. The baby watched as his mother started to run around the room packing everything in sight. 

Then Elayna stopped as she saw the cheongsam that she will wear for the wedding. 

"This cheongsam is too pretty to be used during a wedding anyways. I'll wear it when I need to" she said and she grabbed the duffel bag she brought along with her and soon strapped Minki in a huge cloak and soon left the room. 

She passed a room that was slightly ajar as she watch Seolhyun was wearing a beautiful wedding dress and she was facing the mirror. 

Elayna let out a silent sigh and soon moved on. She then passed a room that slightly small and saw how beautifully decorated it were. Fit for a baby.She realized it's a nursery and knew who it is for. 

She walked around an empty corridor and soon she saw the entrance. There were guards and she knew she have to use the back way.

Then she had an idea. She went around looking for JiEun and saw her with another maid and ask for assistance. JiEun was worried and wondered why she wanted to get out of the castle but after explaining that she wished to go and see the rest of the kingdom

JiEun agreed and soon brought Elayna who were happy and grateful for the help followed JiEun out through the back door of the castle of where the supplies were sent to the kitchen.

After thanking JiEun, Elayna soon left hiding in dark shadows not making a sound. As if he knows the situation Minki wasn't making such fuss at all. He was behaving and Elayna was grateful to that. 

After walking along the road still covered by the cloack she finally manage to get out of the kingdom grounds and into the forest path. She took off her cloack and let out a soft sigh. Minki was awake and was crying and she knew why. She look around and found a leafy place good enough to sit by. 

"Let's change your diaper Minki-ah" she said as she placed him on the cloak and changed his diaper she brought along with her. As she patted his back he was smiling happily.

"Aigoo! You are so cute Minki-ah" she then let out a tired sigh. "Well might as well we rest first Minki-ah" she sat on the cloak Minki on her right as she fed him and he was falling asleep. "My baby...eomma will never leave you...is my promise"

She took off the ring that stayed on her necklace after it was mended and put it around Minki's neck. It glowed and Elayna smiled. "Now you are the next descendant of the Eclipse ring, Minki-ah" She look up into the sky and soon drifted to sleep. Unknown to her she was being watched as the person had a smirk upon his face. "I found her"
