Chapter 33

My phone rang twice more as we talked. I silenced it and kept talking with SeonMan, Ha Na and Minra.

“Who is it?”

I looked up at SeonMan, “huh?”

“Your phone. Who’s that?”

“Who’s who?” I sipped my tea, hoping he’d stop prying further.

“Bre.”

I sighed, “Fine. It’s Kris.”

“And you’re not going to answer his call?” Ha Na asked.

“No!” Minra jumped at my sudden loudness. “Mianhae, Minra, but no, I’m not answering his calls.”

“Why? You don’t think he’s a prince anymore?” Ha Na asked in English.

“Prince?” SeonMan looked at me and I shrugged.

“Yeah, prince. Bre came back from her date with Kris, and- oh wait, should I say your prince instead?” 

“Shut up, Ha Na.” I glared at her.

“So he’s your prince now? When did it get to that level so fast?”  SeonMan asked

*I could say the same about you, oppa.* “Erm... when he, umm...”

“When he kissed her!”

“HA NA!” I put my hand over and gave SeonMan a shy smile as he sat there with his mouth hanging open.

Minra tapped his chin for him to close his mouth.

“He kissed you... on the first date, Bre? I thought you weren’t the kiss-on-the-first-date type of girl?”

I sipped my tea silently so I wouldn’t squeak anymore words out.

“He must be different then...” SeonMan said as he drank his tea. Ha Na nodded in agreement.

I thought about Kris, then about oppa’s words. “... I guess you can say that, yeah.” I secretly smiled to myself and, too, drank more of my tea with oppa and Ha Na.

“Kris?”

We all looked up to see Minra just as confused as ever. *I forgot about her little English! She must have been completely lost!* Ha Na and I chuckled at her cluelessness. SeonMan smiled and explained to her that Kris was a friend of mine who I’ve been talking to.
