My Mysterious Boss

┍━━━━ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ━━━━┑
“----------!”

You diverted your attention to the voice.
“Eunwoo-ah!” you waved to him, as he walked towards you.

You looked back over your shoulder to see Hajoon still standing there, one hand inserted in his pocket.
Your lips curved into a smile, masking how excited you were to hear those words from him.
“See you later, Boss!” you yelled, waving at him.
You don't know why you said that, but it was the only thing you could think of at the moment.
Your heart raced, as his words rung in your ears.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

Eunwoo approached you, looking past you and at Hajoon.
At the same time, Hajoon made eye contact with Eunwoo, wearing his stern look.

You turned to look at Eunwoo.
“What are you doing here?” you asked, catching Eunwoo’s attention.
“Oh, Haein said you’d be coming home today. Thank God, I didn’t miss you,” he chuckled.
“It’s okay. I know you're busy. My house is just down the street," you told him.
Eunwoo looked at Hajoon’s car drive off before looking back at you.

“I thought you said you went to Jeju alone?” Eunwoo asked, as he scrunched his brows in confusion.
“Oh, that," you had a quick thought back to Jeju with him, "I did. I bumped into my boss while I was there," you explained.
“Are you sure it wasn’t planned by him to coincidently meet you there?”
“We really met by accident," you said, "Eunwoo-ah, I asked him to drop me off."
“Really?” Eunwoo raised a brow.
“Yes! I didn’t want to take the bus,” you lied.
Eunwoo thought for a second before believing your words.
"If you say so," he smiled, "Welcome back."
“Haha, thank you! Did Haein leave already?” You asked as you two began walking back.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
Eunwoo picked up on your odd step patterns; he had your bag in his hand.
He looked down only noticing the black brace wrapped around your ankle.
“What happened?” he asked, grabbing your arm, making you stop.
His eyes were locked on your ankle.
“He didn’t cause that, did he?” he arched his brows in concern.
“No. A dog chased me and I fell down, spraining my ankle.”
“Is that what really happened?"
“Of course. Why would I make that up?” you asked.
“I don’t know. What if you’re covering up for him?"
"He actually...helped me."
"I still don't trust his intentions."
"He's a good person, Eunwoo. Don't worry."
"Can you walk? Do I need to give you a piggy back ride?" Eunwoo asked, worriedly.
"I can walk," you smiled, remembering that Hajoon gave you a piggy back ride that day.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

You opened the door to your bedroom, noting anything suspicious.
Hmm, Haein really didn't come in here.
You thought, entering your room.
You looked out the window, taking in the beauty of your small backyard.
Just as you were about to walk away, you noticed something odd about the window.
"I didn’t leave this window open, did I?” you arched your brows in confusion, as you stared at the small-cracked opened window.
Did someone come in here?
You thought, before closing it and locking both locks, top and bottom.

You walked away from the window, glancing over at your investigation board, which hid behind the door.
Aish, I still have so much to do.
You thought, as you moved the door to reveal the full board.
His picture caught your eyes.
You removed his picture and smiled, looking at it.
He looked a little too angry and serious.
I need to focus.
You sighed, realizing that you were forgetting the whole reason why you started everything.
You pinned his picture at the top of the board.
He was no longer just a stranger or your boss, but a special person.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
“How was your trip?”
Hajoon stepped inside his home to be greeted by his father.
“It went well.”
“That’s not what your men reported.”
Hajoon looked at Wonwoo, who had his head down.
“It’s minor.”
“No, you could have been killed.”
“And I’m still here,” Hajoon said, walking past his father.
“Hajoon, do you know how serious that could have been? Ricci sent those men to kill you,” his dad said, making him stop.
“I know, Dad, and I’ll make Ricci pay for it.”
“I have my men working on the case. Please just focus on the company.”
Hajoon looked at his dad as anger filled his eyes.
“And how long is that going to take? A day? A month? 20 years?”
“One of my men is getting close to the target. Just run the company as we promised in the beginning.”
“I can’t promise you that, Dad,” Hajoon said, walking away.

“Keep an eye on him,” his dad instructed to his men, before leaving.
•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
Hajoon looked at his investigation board.
His eyes trailed to you.
Unpinning the photo, he took a closer look.
His thoughts were empty, but he knew there was something special about you.
He sighed, pinning your photo at the top of the board.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

“How was your trip?” Haein asked, slapping you on the arm, as she caught up to you.
“Haein!” You smiled, hugging her.
“Oh, I got you this!” you searched your bag for the set of earrings and shirt you bought her.
“Here!” you handed it to her.
“Yah, you didn’t have to!”
“Thank you for watching my house,”
“Of course,” Haein said, “how was your getaway? Did you meet any cuties?” she raised her brows, playfully.
You gently slapped her.
“It was my vacation. Who said I went to go look for a man?” you chuckled.
“I don’t know,” Haein smirked, “but for real, how was it?”
“It was fun. I made two new friends, who I will probably never see again.”
“That’s nice to hear that you had a good time."

It was that scent again.
You quickly turned to look back, stopping midway up the stairs.
“--------?” Haein asked, as she noticed you, stopping.

You smiled upon seeing him, walking up the stairs.
At the same time, Hajoon made eye contact with you.
You bowed to him.
“Good morning,” he greeted, as he glanced down at your ankle.
“Good morning, Chairman,” Haein replied.

You kept your smile, as your eyes followed him.
“Are you okay?” Haein asked, noticing your odd behavior.
You looked at her.
“I’m fine,” you answered, as you excitedly limped up the stairs.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

“I don’t think you’re fine. Did something happen between you two?” Haein asked, as you two put your stuff away in the locker room.
“No, what could have happened?” you asked.
“I don’t know. Is your ankle okay? I just realized you were walking kind of funky earlier, and you're wearing a brace," Haein asked in concern.
"Ah, it's nothing. I'll be fine. I just sprained it," you told her, though your mind was daydreaming back to the day he helped you.
"Are you sure it's nothing serious?"
"Yes, I'll be fine."
"I hope you get better soon."
"Thank you, Haein."

Just before you were about to leave the locker room, Haein stopped you.
“Wait.”
“Yea?”
You turned to look at her.
“Soohyuk came by the other night. I bumped into him in your neighborhood. He asked about you.”
“What did you say?” You asked, curious as to why Soohyuk was in the neighborhood.
“He just asked if I knew if you were home, since he wanted to talk. I told him that you were out of town for the weekend.”
“Was that all he asked?”
“Well, he asked if you went alone or with someone, then he asked when you were coming back.”
“That’s all?”
Haein nodded her head.
Was he the one in my house?
You wondered.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

“Haein, please bring these files to the Chairman,” Ms. Kim ordered, as she placed a folder filled with papers on the ledge of the front desk.
“Can I?” you asked Ms. Kim.
She stopped and looked at you.
“I don’t care. Just get these files to him,” Ms. Kim said, before leaving.

You looked at Haein with puppy eyes.
“Can I?” you asked her.
“Of course. Why wouldn’t I?” Haein smirked.
“No, it’s nothing,” you lied.
You wanted to see him.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

You walked down the long corridor, as you saw his door at the end.
Aish, why do I still feel this?
You thought as you felt the butterflies in your stomach.

You reached his door,
Your hand curled into a fist, ready to knock.
You took a deep breath before finally doing it.
“Come in.”
You heard his voice.
You stared at your hand, realizing how much your hands were trembling.

“Come in.”
You heard his voice again.
What’s wrong with me? I literally spent the last three days with him.
You reminded yourself.
Get it together.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
You pushed the door, revealing him focused on his screen.
Hajoon looked up.
“Papers you requested,” you said, waving the folder, showing it to him.
“Can you put them here?” he asked, pointing at the corner of his desk.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

Just as you were about to leave, Hajoon stopped you.
“How’s your ankle?”
You turned to look at him.
“It’s better with the brace.”
“That’s good then,” he replied, going back to his work.
“How about you? Did you get your arm treated?”
“…I did,” he lied.
“Are you lying?” you asked, raising a brow.
“I will get it done after work,” he answered, avoiding eye contact with you.
“You said that yesterday.”
“I was busy last night.”
“With what?”
“That…is private," he said, as he looked at you.
“We’re partners. I tell you everything,” you crossed your arms.
“Really?”
You thought for a second before slowly nodding to his question.

Hajoon found himself slowly distracted by you, not in a bad way though.
He cleared his throat.
“If you’re finished with your job here, get out. I'm busy," he sternly said, as he looked back at his screen.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
What the hell is wrong with me?
He thought.
Focus, Hajoon.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
You furrowed your brows, confused to why his mood changed so sudden.
You could have just said it nicely.
You thought, before bowing and leaving the room.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

You stood next to Haein at the front desk.
Your mind drifted to him.
“What are you thinking about?” Haein elbowed you, breaking you out of your thoughts.
“Nothing.”
“Don’t lie to me. I know that something’s bothering you.”
“I’m just a little tired from the trip.”
“Will you be okay to take the bus? I can you drop you off tonight,” Haein offered.
“It’s okay. I have to run some errands before I go home. Plus, you’ve stayed at my place for a few nights already. I’m sure you don’t want to go back for another night,” you chucked.
“It’s okay,” Haein smiled,” actually, Eunwoo offered to come watch your house.”
You quickly looked at Haein, in surprised.
“What?”
“Yea, he told me that I should go home and he could watch your house that last night.”
“Did Eunwoo watch my house?” You asked.

You haven’t forgotten that Eunwoo was also a person of interest.
He was suspicious on your watch, even though he was your friend.
“Did he?” you asked again, before Haein could answer you.
“No, he didn’t,” Haein slowly replied.
She was confused to why you were asking so anxiously.
“Why? Is there something with Eunwoo?”
“No. It’s nothing,” you replied, though your mind was on Eunwoo possibly in your house.

Should I tell Hajoon about this?
You thought.

"Be careful getting home. Call me, okay?” Haein said, as she grabbed her purse.
“Yea, I will. Thanks, Haein!”
“Thank you for the gifts too!” She smiled.
You nodded and smiled back.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

You walked down the sidewalk.
Cars rushing along the road.
Teens walking with their friends.
Families out on their nightly walks.
Your mind wondered about other things.
Aish, why was he giving me attitude earlier?
Maybe he just wants to annoy me.

You sighed, annoyed at Hajoon's attitude earlier.
It bothered you a little bit.
You brushed it aside, thinking back to Haein's words.
What if Eunwoo was the one in my room?
But what would he be doing in my house?
Is he looking for something?
For Mrs. Lee?
For himself?
Is he suspicious of me?
I haven’t done anything suspicious though.

Does he think I have something on Hajoon?
Aishh, you’re not safe anywhere Hajoon.
Should I tell you?
No, that would expose Eunwoo.
Eunwoo is still my friend.
Hajoon's...important too.
Who should I protect?
No, I need to help Hajo---.

BEEEEEP!

A hand grabbed your arm, pulling you away from the crosswalk.
Your body slammed right into his body.
Your thoughts paused.
The sound of your heartbeat echoed through your ear.

You slowly looked up at the person who grabbed you, saving your life.
“Mr. Hajoon-shi.”
“Hajoon,” he corrected.
He looked at the driver, who was driving carelessly.
He looked down at you.
“Are you okay?” he asked, as he still held onto your arm; both of your bodies closing the gap.
“Where did you come from?” you asked, still in shocked by what had just happened.
“Watch where you're going. You could have been seriously injured."
“Yes,” was all you could reply with.

“Where are you going?” Hajoon asked.
“Home. What about you? Why are you walking on the sidewalk?”
“I can’t walk on the sidewalk?”
“No, but what are you doing here?” you asked, as you were still processing about what happened.
“I was heading this way too, to the grocery store,” he lied.
“Ohh, do you need me to come with you?” you asked, sincerely.
“No, why would I need you to come with me?” Hajoon replied.

You snapped out of your shocked state, taking a step back.
You suddenly remembered about the attitude he gave you earlier.
"Are you going to let me go?" you asked, giving him the same attitude he gave you earlier.
Hajoon realized that he held onto you longer than he planned, as he released your arm.
"Have a good night, Mr. Hajoon-SHI!"
You bowed and walked back to the end of the sidewalk, waiting for the pedestrian light.

“Can you go to the hospital with me?”
You turned back to look at him, confused.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

“How’s your ankle, ------shi?” Sunghoon asked, as he finished wrapping Hajoon’s arm.
“It’s a lot better with the brace on. It makes walking not as painful,” you chuckled, sitting at the guest's seat.
You looked at Hajoon.

Aish, I should be nicer to him. He's literally injured.
You thought, regretting how you were giving him attitude earlier.

“I'm glad that it’s helping. You should start seeing progress within a few days, if you continue to wear it. Also, don’t forget to pick up the gel medication I prescribed. That’ll help a ton.”
“Thank you, Dr. Sunghoon-shi,” you bowed.
“And you,” Sunghoon began, making Hajoon look at him,” make sure you come back a within a few days so I can make sure it’s not infected. With that said, it's best if your wound is treated by someone else, so it doesn't tear."

“You don’t mind treating him, right?” Sunghoon asked, looking at you.
“Huh?” that managed to escape your mouth.
You were a bit taken back by the sudden and unexpected request made by the doctor.

On the other hand, Hajoon’s eyes widened, looking at Sunghoon, wondering what Sunghoon’s plan was.
“This is so his wound doesn’t tear up. It'll speed up the healing process," Sunghoon reiterated.
“O-oh, y-yea. I can treat it,” you replied, blushing.

Hajoon cleared his throat.
“I can treat it myself. Just tell me what I need to clean it with.” Hajoon said.
“Did you not hear what I just said?” Sunghoon asked, "make sure you pick the prescriptions too."

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

You bowed to Sunghoon.
“Thank you,” you smiled.
“No problem,” Sunghoon said before he walked to the door.

You looked down at your feet, avoiding eye contact with Hajoon, thinking about how you got into that situation.
Meanwhile Sunghoon sent a wink to Hajoon, noting that he made an effort to help Hajoon out.
Hajoon sighed at Sunghoon’s joke.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
“I’ll see you around. Have fun grocery shopping,” you bowed.
“Why are you bowing to me?” Hajoon asked, as you two stood in front of the hospital building.
“Aren't you my boss?”
“We’re not at the office.”
“Well, you were my boss at the hotel," you raised a brow.
“Just bow, when we’re at the office,” Hajoon said.

“Thank you for earlier.”
“No. Watch where you’re going next time,” he suggested.
You rolled your eyes.
“I was being nice. You know what? I hope that you have fun grocery shopping ALONE! Bye!” you said.
“I know you’re out of gochujang,” Hajoon shouted out, making you turn to look at him.
“What?”

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

You found yourself walking with him down the aisle.
“Did you need anything else?”
You looked at Hajoon, holding onto your gochujang tub.
“No.”

You both stopped in front of the cold drinks.
Hajoon looked at you, hoping for a reaction from you, like last time.
Truth was you were a little distracted because of the Eunwoo thing.
You began suspecting about his presence in your house.

How am I going to get her attention?
Hajoon thought.

He took a glance at the coffee pouches in the fridge, before grabbing twenty of them, placing them in his cart.
By chance, you glanced over at him, noticing that he was grabbing something.
“You like them, right?” you asked him; your eyes widened by the amount of coffee he was going to purchase.
Hajoon felt that he accomplished something, getting your attention.
"They're okay," he replied.
"You don't have to lie. I know you like them," you smiled.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
You two walked out of the market.
You holding onto your bag, and him holding onto his.
“You took me out this late. You’re going to have to-----”
“Bring you home?” Hajoon finished.
“Yes.”
“I will,” he replied.
It was the whole point of everything.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

“I’ll walk the rest way home," you said, as you unbuckled.
“Your ankle.”
“It’s okay."

“Are you okay?” he suddenly asked.
“Huh?”
“Is something bothering you?” Hajoon asked.
“Was it that noticeable?”
“You’re usually not this quiet.”

“You’re always shooing me away,” you side-eyed him.
“That….it’s because----”
“Even if you shoo me away, I’m going to stick to your side,” you smiled, knowing that you meant it for real.

Th-thump. Th-thump. Th-thump.
Hajoon felt.

“No, I don’t know if I should tell you this or not,” you thought.
“We’re partners. You can tell me anything.”
You looked at him.
Can I really trust you though? Even after everything that happened at the island.
You thought.
“Are we more than partners though?” You asked

Hajoon was a little taken back by your question.
His cheeks flushed pink.
“W-what?” he stuttered.

You caught onto your question, making you blush too.
You looked away, too shy to even face him.
You cleared your throat.

“Y-yah, not like that,” you stuttered,” I meant, I can 100 percent trust you, right? Like, you’re not going to tell anyone.”
“Of course not. Who am I going to tell anyway?”
“I don’t know.”
“Well, what happened?”
He needed to know that piece of information that may possibly open new information for him.
“It’s…my friend.”

“Haein-shi?”
You looked at him, ready to tell him.
“No, Eunwoo.”
Hajoon was invested.
He needed to know who Eunwoo was too.
“What about him?”
“I...I don't know. I don't know how I feel about him,” you sighed.

"You like him?" Hajoon quickly asked.
You looked at him, surprised.
"What?"
"You have feelings for him?" Hajoon anxiously asked.
"Noooo, what are you talking about?" you creased your brows in puzzlement.
"What's wrong with him?"
“Cross your heart that you won’t tell anyone," you asked.
“What?”
“Do it,” you ordered.
Hajoon sighed, then with his finger, he drew an imaginary X on his heart.
You took a deep breath.
“I think Eunwoo needs something in my house.”

Hajoon felt relieved by your answer.
He turned his focus back to your words.

Did she find out too?
Hajoon thought.

“Why do you suspect that?” Hajoon asked, pretending to not know about the situation.
“You know, I remember locking my house before I went to Jeju. I asked Haein to close my bedroom door and to not go in there. When I came back, the window inside my bedroom was opened.”

It was Eunwoo.
Hajoon thought.

“Maybe you forgot to?”
“No. Hajoon, the only time that window opens is when I am home all day. I never leave it unlock or open,” you explained, “Haein told me that Eunwoo wanted to watch my house that last night."
“Oh…”
“I don’t know,” you frustratedly sighed.
“Why do you suspect it’s him?” Hajoon asked.
“Because I know he----” you stopped midway.
He waited for you to finish.
“It’s nothing. I don’t know. Maybe I’m just thinking too much,” You told him.
“Do you trust him?”
“…it’s complicated."

You looked at the time projected above his stereo.
“Did you want to stay for dinner?” you asked.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

Hajoon entered your house.
It looked the same as before.
“I haven’t changed anything,” you said, taking off your shoes as you noticed him scanning your living room.
“Make yourself at home, while I prepare something,” you said, before walking into the kitchen.

Hajoon scanned around the living room.
It really was the same as before.
He caught a glimpse of your bedroom with the door wide open.
He saw the window you were speaking about.

“Is it that window you’re speaking about?” Hajoon asked, looking over to you who was wearing an apron.
Your eyes widened, sprinting out of the kitchen.
You grabbed the knob, pulling it to close the door.
“It’s the window, but you can’t go inside.”
“I wasn’t planning to,” Hajoon replied, looking away.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
You opened the cabinet, looking at your spices.
Gochujang…I really don’t have any.
You turned to look at Hajoon, who was looking at your collection.
“How did you know I was out of gochujang?” you asked, arching your brows in surprised.
Hajoon looked away from your collection.
He panicked inside for a second.
“I guessed,” he lied.
The only reason he knew was because he heard Haein talking about it.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
“Dinner’s ready,” you said, as you finished the table with two bowls of rice.
Hajoon walked over to the table.
“Thank you,” Hajoon said.
“No, thank you for listening to my problems. This is just very small,” you said.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

“So, did you rest well last night?” you asked, before eating a small bite of rice.
Hajoon nodded, though it wasn’t the truth.
He was stressed over other things.
“How about you?” He asked.
“I did. I slept very well last night.”
“As you should.”

“Did you figure out who those men were?” you asked.
“…no. I am still looking into it,” he lied.
“Did you need help? You know that I’m good at those things. I can lo---”
“It’s okay. You’re very expensive.”
“That’s right!” you smiled.
“It’s okay. I’ll have my men look into it.”
“I hope you catch them soon.”

Knock. Knock. Knock.
“I’ll be back,” you excused yourself.
•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

You opened the door to reveal…
“Eunwoo-ah.”
“Did I come at a bad time?”
“No, I’m actually having dinner with a friend.”
“Haein?”
“N-no.”

Hajoon heard the conversation, getting up from his seat.
He stood at the other end, wondering who your guest was.
Eunwoo looked past you, seeing Hajoon stand at the end of the hallway.

“Oh, that friend,” Eunwoo said.
You looked over your shoulder to see Hajoon standing behind.
“Have you had dinner?” you asked, diverting your attention back to Eunwoo.
“I’ll have it at home.”
“Oh, then just have it with us,” you smiled, grabbing his hand, pulling him inside.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

“Jjang!” you placed in the bowl of rice in front of Eunwoo.

Without thinking, you took a seat next to Hajoon, sitting across from Eunwoo.
Eunwoo looked at you, then Hajoon looked at you.
“What?” you questioned, confused to why they were staring at you.
You looked down at the table and realized that your bowl of rice was over at Eunwoo's side.
Aish, what the heck?
You mentally facepalmed.

Just as you were about to embarrassingly move seat, Hajoon grabbed your arm, making you look at him.
Hajoon looked at Eunwoo.
“Could you pass her bowl over?”

Eunwoo discreetly sighed, before passing it to you.
“Thank you, Eunwoo,” you smiled.
Eunwoo managed to give you a smile back.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••

“You’ve guys met before, so be comfortable,” you said, before digging back into your food.

“Oh, here, Eunwoo! Your favorite,” as you grabbed a kimbap with your chopsticks, placing it in Eunwoo's bowl.
“Thanks!” he smiled.

Hajoon took note of the interaction, though he found himself a little….jealous by how you were treating Eunwoo.
He cleared his throat, catching both you and Eunwoo's attention.

“So, what do you do, Eunwoo-shi?” Hajoon asked, as he set his chopsticks down to the side.
His question surprised both of you.
“I work around the neighborhood,” Eunwoo vaguely replied.
“What exactly do you do?”
“Why does it matter to you?"

The atmosphere was heavier.
Hajoon looked at Eunwoo in the eyes.

“What were you doing inside --------‘s house?”

Chapter 40: Ah, so that's how those two take care of that ending from the previous chapter? But what did she mean by she didn't want him to blurt it out like that to Eunwoo? I couldn't recall which incident she was referring to. Other than that, Ha Joon getting jealous of her having lunch with Soo Hyuk and then taking up on his offer to drive her home and also, when he thought she was dating Eunwoo. But did he offer to take her home and she rejected him? He was kinda salty when he said something along the line of 'you take up his offer but reject mine?'. And once again what's with this chapter's ending as well? It's illegal to leave us on a note like that. Now what's that bracelet and how does he recognise it? And what did Ha Joon do this time? Surely she can't be his ex and all, unless she was abroad as well. Nonetheless, I can't wait to read more. Will be eagerly waiting for the next update ^^

Chapter 39: Ooh... You didn't bring the twist I was expecting from the ending of the previous chapter. And talking about endings, what is even Ha Joon thinking confronting Eunwoo like that here? How is he gonna justify his reason for knowing that? Regardless, I had fun reading this chapter. Those two showing attitude to each other, then caring about each other secretly... I can't wait to read more. Will be eagerly waiting for the next update ^^

Chapter 38: I'm not gonna get fooled by your ending. I'm sure he's gonna something along the line, who will spy for him and he's in need of a trustworthy partner or so. LoL... But that's a pretty good ending for the chapter. I'll give you that. You almost got me. Anyway, those two were really good this whole chapter. Like her, I'm gonna miss those two being on holiday. Since they can't be this free back home with their job hierarchy. Also, I cracked up hard when she retorted 'In this hotel room?' to his ' I'm your boss' comment XD can't wait to read more. Will be waiting for the next update ^^

Chapter 37: Their vacation is getting over? So soon? Noooooo... I mean it was fun seeing them flirt and spend time together without their status or something holding them back. It was sweet and a bit funny how they ordered food for each other and then acted like they can eat all that by themselves. And will they be having a double date somewhere later in the story with Minhyuk and his girlfriend? Also, that ending though! How are they both gonna escape the guys who have come in search of him? Can't wait to read more. Will be eagerly waiting for the next update ^^

Chapter 36: So Eunwoo hasn't found the box yet, right? I mean since he got interrupted by Haein while searching for it. Also, wonder why Ha Joon is keeping an eye on her as well... And definitely enjoyed reading those two's interaction in the island. I laughed out loud when she asked him if older women was his type and was going to introduce her friend to him. Oh, I totally forgot about her admitting her feelings for him, even though it was just to herself. Now when's Ha Joon gonna realise his own? Also, she gotta stop following people blindly especially when it involves secluded place and warehouses. When is she gonna learn her lesson? Anyway, thanks for the longer update. can't wait to read more. Will be eagerly waiting for the next update ^^

PS New Year wishes to you as well. Wish you the best!

Chapter 35: That ending though! I mean will Ha Joon recognise whose voice it is? And does she have notes on Eunwoo too on that board? I don't seem to remember... Regardless, this chapter was a fun read, especially the interactions between her and Ha Joon. And I'm still wondering about this Minhyuk guy. LoL... Anyway, can't wait to read more. Hope to see an update soon ^^

Chapter 34: LoL... You definitely got us in the last chapter! I still can't believe it wasn't the same black box that he was looking for. Wah, you fooled me completely! Anyway, coming to the chapter, I didn't know such a hotel existed in Jeju. Not that I know of all the hotels there. Nonetheless, I wasn't expecting a hotel with the name 'Ramada' in Korea but now I know, thanks to you and Google. LoL.. also, can't believe Ha Joon really killed someone in this chapter. Not sure why that came as a shock to me though. Also, that nice guy named Minhyuk, is he one of your OCs or is he one of those idols with the real name Minhyuk? I'm really curious. Also, his mother doesn't know about his girlfriend yet or is she not accepting that girlfriend for her son? And what was Ha Joon doing in Jeju though? I'm curious of that too. And the guy at the end, is it Minhyuk again? Or is he someone's else entirely? Anyway, can't wait to read more. Will be eagerly waiting for the next update ^^

Chapter 33: So Eunwoo now thinks she likes him? Also, Ha Joon and her had an indirect date? Those two were too cute, especially trying to deny their feelings. And she gave him the black box? That came as a surprise. Anyway, can't wait to read more. Hope to see an update soon ^^

Chapter 32: At the beginning of the chapter, I was mildly confused if the order of the chapter was wrong but soon realised it was Ha Joon's perspective. Somehow, the mention of an Italian brand and all those ominous reactions and warnings from people make me wonder if it has anything to do with the Italian mafia. Also, her being conflicted with her feelings and her fear, how are things gonna resolve in that department? Also, Jung Hae In here is the actor Hae In, isn't it? Just curious... Anyway, can't wait to read more. Will be eagerly waiting for the next update ^^

Chapter 31: Asdfghjjklkj!! He brought her lunch, didn't he? Ayyo, now he's gonna think she went on a date with Soohyuk. And talking about him, I wonder what the repercussions gonna be for hanging out with him. I mean like she said, his mom is definitely not gonna leave this alone. Also, I'm starting to feel sorry for Eunwoo. Just hope that he was genuinely caring about her till now and not just acting so. Anyway, can't wait to read more. Hope to see an update soon ^^
