My Mysterious Boss

┍━━━━ ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ━━━━┑

You sat in front of the door; your arms wrapped around your leg.
You stared at tiles.
No, that wasn’t him.
He didn’t wear like that when I saw him.
 It’s not him.

You were in denial.
You thought of all the possible places he could have been.
Even if it’s him, he wouldn’t do anything to me, would he?

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
You laid in bed, staring at the ceiling.
The image of him at that pier replayed in your head.

What is he doing there?
Is he a drug smuggler?

Human trafficker?
What if I confront him?
Is he dangerous?
Wait, Jung Hae In told me this.

You quickly sat up.
“He can be a dangerous person.”
You recalled.
Does that mean it's true?
You didn't know what to think anymore; unsure of what Hajoon was hiding from everyone and...you.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
Hajoon walked down the hall.
He stopped in front of your door, slowly raised his arm, ready to knock.
He sighed, dropping his arm to his side.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
Hajoon removed his black coat, revealing the blood that absorbed through his left upper sleeve.
ing his shirt, he removed his injured arm first
He looked at the reflection, examining the deep cut on his bicep.
Just this time, Ricci.
His brows furrowed in anger.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
Hajoon looked out to the ocean, waiting for the person.
A few of his men stood by his side, while the rest took cover.

“Hajoon. I’m sorry. I don’t think it was accidental or suicide after reading the initial reports. I found another report regarding to her death. I'm going to forward it to you.”
Sunghoon’s words replayed in his mind.

“Boss, he’s here.”
Hajoon snapped out of his thought, looking over his shoulder.

“My man, Wi Ha Joon!”
Hajoon turned around only to be greeted by the person who he despises, Matteo Ricci.
Ricci extended his arms out, ready to hug Hajoon, only to be stopped by Hajoon’s men.
Ricci smiled, putting his arms up.
“I see. This is how you work now,” he chuckled.
“You’re early,” Hajoon said.
Ricci chuckled, putting one of his hands inside his pockets.
“Of course. I didn’t want you to wait another day. I mean, what a great day to be partners in business, right?” he smiled, looking at the sky, "a full moon for good luck."
Hajoon stayed quiet, carefully listening to Ricci’s words.
Ricci looked back at Hajoon.
“I’m not going to do anything to you. You can have your men at ease.”
Hajoon’s men stood their post.
Hajoon walked in between them, a few feet away from Ricci.
“What business do you have?” Hajoon asked.
“There’s many, but I know you won’t agree to them.”
“If you’re here to waste my time, then we can end it here.”
“Wait, wait, wait,” Ricci begged.
“The business back in the States. You’re really not going to give me another chance? I know I messed up, but shouldn’t I deserve ano----”
“I’ve warned you already. There will never be any businesses between us.”
“If there’s none, why did you come out tonight?”
“It looks like your henchmen didn't pass my message to you. Maybe if I personally tell you, it will go through your ears. Next time, blood will be drawn," Hajoon warned.
Ricci took a step back.
“I’m not here for problems. I just want to merge our business together. We’d be the strongest together.
I messed up last time, but I know that I can prove to you that I’m as capable as any of your other partners.”
“If you’ve forgotten, I don’t need a partner, nor will I ever need you as my partner.”
Ricci stood there in silence, processing what Hajoon said.
“You’ve wasted enough of my time,” Hajoon sighed.
“Consider tonight your lucky night. Next time, I hope you've chosen your tombstone,” Hajoon warned, turning around to leave.

“I know how she died.”

Hajoon stopped; his heart slowed.
Ricci smirked, as he gained Hajoon’s attention.
“What a shame that you’ll never know what really happened to her.”
Hajoon looked over his shoulder.
“Now, what do you know about her?”
“Nothing?”
Hajoon turned to face him.
“Everything?” Ricci’s lips curved to a wider smirk.

Hajoon kept his composure.
He began wondering if Ricci really knew about it.

Ricci extended his hand out for a handshake.
"Only if we merge our business together will I tell you what happened."
There was a short silence in the air.
"Take it to your grave," Hajoon said, walking away.

Ricci’s smirk washed away.
His hands curled into a fist, his veins popping out.

As Hajoon and his men turned and walked away, Ricci signaled with his head to his men to attack.
“This isn’t personal," Ricci whispered, furrowing his brows in anger.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
Hajoon looked down at his wound.
He was confused to what Ricci meant.
Did Ricci play a role in her death?
He knew he needed to speak to Sunghoon about it; someone who he trusted.
There was no reason for his father to get involved.

Ding.

Hajoon looked at his phone.

You: Hey. Is everything alright? 11:34PM/23:34
•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
You sighed, sitting on the bed.

Let’s hope that he replies.
You felt uneasy about everything.
You tried convincing yourself that the person you saw was not Hajoon.
Should I send another text?

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
Hajoon read your text.
For some reason, seeing your name made him felt better.
He didn’t know how to respond, though the question was either a yes or no.

Hajoon: Why? 11:50PM/23:50
•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
Ding.
You grabbed your phone, opening his text.
You’ve been waiting for it.

“Why?” What do you mean ‘why?’”
You wondered.

You: Are you alright? 11:52PM/23:52

Before you could set your phone down, a ding went through.

Hajoon: Yes. 11:57PM/23:57

For some reason, the “yes” sounded off.
Are you really okay, Hajoon?
You thought.

You: I’m a floor away from you, if you need anything. 11:59PM/23:59
•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
Hajoon smiled.
Those were the words he needed to hear.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
Hajoon: Why are you still up? 12:03 AM/ 00:03

You couldn't tell him the truth; the truth of questioning his whereabouts.

You: I couldn't sleep. 12:05AM/00:05
Hajoon: Well, I’m going to go to bed. 12:08AM/ 00:08
You: Good night, and see you tomorrow(?) 12:10AM/ 00:10
Hajoon: Sleep well. 12:10AM/00:10

You stared at the ceiling, holding the blanket tightly.
Seeing his face and all those men bowing before him.
It didn’t seem like the normal amount of people who would do that.
It felt different that time, something odd and sinister.
You were reminded about why everything started.
Your mission was to figure out who he was.
How am I going to get you?
You wondered.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
You walked out to the balcony in a silk beige tank top and shorts.
Your messy hair flowed along with the wind.
You waited patiently for the sun to rise.
It was your last full day on the island.
As you waited, your mind drifted back to him.

Can I still trust you?
Will you hurt me?

As the sun began to slowly rise, you emptied your mind.
You wanted to focus on the sun.
A smile formed on your face, taking in the moment.
When would be the next time you see the sun on Jeju Island?
You closed your eyes, as the sunlight pierced through your skin.

Thump.

You opened one of your eyes and glanced over to where the noise came from.
It was the neighbor on the next balcony.

A bit rude, but----

You opened both eyes and looked over back at the balcony.
Your eyes widened, and your heart raced.
Nothing came out from your mouth.

By chance, Hajoon sighed and then he looked over to your balcony, feeling a presence.
His eyes widened too.
Not that he didn’t expect you to be standing on the balcony, but the fact of how exposed your skin was.
His cheeks flushed pink, quickly looking away.
He took a few seconds to compose himself, clearing his throat.

“Good morning, ----------.”
“H-hajoon,” you stuttered, in disbelief.
You still couldn’t process him being next door this whole time.
“What-what are you doing there?” you scratched the back of your head.
“I’m…it’s my room.”

He's been next door this whole time? THIS WHOLE TIME?!
You felt so dumb.
While you were thinking about Hajoon staying next door, Hajoon took off his black robe.

“---------.”
You looked at him.
“Huh?”
“Catch.”
You furrowed your brows in confusion.
Hajoon crumbled his robe into a loose ball before throwing over to you.
His toss was too perfect; the robe perfectly landed in your hands.

It took you a while to understand why he tossed over his robe.
You scanned down your outfit only to realize how revealing your pajamas was.
Your eyes widened, as you looked at him embarrassingly.
Hajoon looked away at the sunrise.

Your cheeks turned into a bright pink, as you scramble to put on his robe.
You quickly tie the strap around your waist, tightening it after.
You cleared your throat, catching his attention.

“Thank you.”
He gave a nod to your gratitude.

“You’ve been staying next door this whole time and didn’t even bother telling me?” you asked, taking a few steps closer to his side.
Hajoon looked over, then back at the sunrise.
“Why do you need to know?”
“Well, I was worried about you last night!" You said, a little too loud.
He looked at you, surprised at your tone.
You realized what you said and how you said it.
“I mean, yesterday you left so sudden, so I thought something serious happened," you quickly explained.
There was truth to that, but you were reminded about last night; the people you saw with him.
Your heart began beating faster; this time out of nervousness.
He's not going to do anything to me. Be brave.
You encouraged yourself.
“Did…anything happened last night?” You asked.
You were determined to get an answer from him, unsure of what the consequences could be.
Was he going to tie you up in a warehouse? Was he going to torture you? Sell you? Kill you?

“No.”

Why is he lying?
You thought.
You saw him, standing at that pier with those men in black suit.

“Your last day?” He asked, trying to get away from that topic.
You zoned out, thinking back to last night.

Hajoon analyzed your expression.
Or, does she know?
He low-key panicked.

“Are you leaving tomorrow?” Hajoon asked again, snapping you out.
“Huh?”
“You leave tomorrow morning?”
You slowly nodded.
“And you? Are you going back to Seoul tomorrow?”
“I am.”
“That’s great! Maybe we’ll get on the same flight,” you managed to pull a smile.
“I hope not."
“Whatever. You wish we were on the same flight,” you replied.

“Well, enjoy your day, Mr. Hajoon-SHI!” you bowed.
Before Hajoon could say another word, you walked inside your room.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
You closed the door and placed your hand on your chest, feeling the palpitations.
What the heck? He stayed next door this whole time?
You freaked out a bit.
You sat down on the couch in case you lost balance.
Still distracted about last night, you wondered why he was there.
Was the whole trip just for that?
He can’t possibly be a serial killer, right?
Aish, be smart. A serial killer works by themselves.
You lightly hit the temple of your head.

You stopped thinking about last night and sniffed the air.
I’ve smelled this before.
You thought.
Is it the room?
You stood up and walked around the living room sniffing the air.

Wait.
You stopped and pulled the collar of his robe up to your nose, taking a whiff of it.
Why does it smell so familiar?
Where did I smell this?

You wondered.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
“Haein!”
Haein turned around as she locked your house.
“Eunwoo-ah!” She smiled, finishing the last turn.
“What are you doing here?”
Haein turned to face Eunwoo.
“I’m just house sitting for -------."
“Oh, is that so?”
She nodded her head.
“Do you know when she’s coming back?”
“Um….I think she’s coming home tomorrow.”
This would be a great chance for Eunwoo.
“I can house sit for tonight, so you don’t have to come back later,” Eunwoo offered, as he took a glance at your house.
“It’s okay. -------- didn’t want to bother you, so don’t worry. It’s just one more night and I’ll be fine."
“No, it’s okay, really.”
“No, if -------- finds out, she’ll be upset. Don’t worry, Eunwoo. I got it!”
“I got to get going, so I’ll see you later,” Haein smiled, waving goodbye to Eunwoo after.
“Stay safe,” Eunwoo waved back.

He looked back at your house.
I have to find another way.
Eunwoo thought.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
You sat on the couch, looking at the takeout food you ordered for lunch.
Just do it, so we can fish out more information on him.
You took out your phone and sent a message.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
Hajoon looked away from his laptop.

You: Where are you? 11:32AM/11:32

Where are you?
He read.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
Hajoon: Is it an emergency? 11:33AM/11:33
You: Are you in your room? 11:33AM/11:33
Hajoon: Is it an emergency? 11:34AM/11:34

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
You took the bags of food and limped out of your room.

There you were, standing in front of his room.
Come on. Just knock!
You raised your hand, ready to knock.

“Excuse me.”
You turned to look at the voice.
It was a food delivery lady.
“Are you delivering for this room?” You asked, pointing at his room.
“Yes, are you the guest staying in that room?”

“Yes,” you smiled.
The lady handed you the bag
“Enjoy your lunch,” she smiled.
“Thank you very much."

You watched the lady disappear into the elevator before gaining the courage to face his door again.
The bag was heavy.
He doesn’t even eat this much.
You rolled your eyes.

Wait…what if he’s not by myself?
Your eyes widened, gasping at your assumption.
Aish, I shouldn’t have done this.
You mentally facepalmed.

The door opened.
Hajoon looked confused.
“What are you doing here?” he asked, then he looked at the bags you were carrying.

You stumbled on your words.
“Uhhhmm…” you looked at him.
There was not an inch of scratch or injury on him, nor anything suspicious about him.
Hajoon waited for an answer, inserting his right hand inside his pocket.

You held up his delivery.
“Your delivery was accidentally sent to my room,” you lied, giving him a smile.
Hajoon chuckled, knowing that you lied.
“Thank you,” he played along, extending his hand out to take his package.
You gave it to him.
He accepted it, proceeding to close to door, only for you to stop him by pushing against the door.
Hajoon opened the door, raising a brow.
“I want to eat lunch with you.”

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
You looked around his room, noting anything suspicious.
“Are you staying alone?” you asked, as you turned to look at him.
“Why is that important?”
“I was just curious,” you said.

“Oh, here’s your robe. Thanks,” you said, giving his robe back.
Hajoon took the robe, draping it over the couch.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
You sat across from him.
Both of your lunch bags in front of you two.
Breaking the silence, you took the food out first.
Deep inside, you felt a little sad that your extra food would go to waste.
You pulled out the plastic containers out one by one, dispersing it on your side of the table.
Hajoon, on the other hand, pulled his containers out from the bag, placing them on his side of the table.

“Do you usually eat that much?”
You looked up at him.
“Of course. Why wouldn’t I?” you lied.
You were a little embarrassed for bringing so much food.
It was meant to be shared with him.

You looked over, noticing the huge amount of food on his side as well.
“And you eat that much too?” you raised a brow.
Hajoon’s cheeks flushed to a light pink.
He felt it but ignored it.
“No, a friend was supposed to stop by, but she changed her mind,” Hajoon lied.
He couldn’t tell you the truth that it was truly meant for … you.
“She?” You leaned forward.
“What?”
“A girlfriend?”
“A friend.”
You smiled, giving him the look.
“It’s okay. You can tell me. It’s not like you haven’t’ told me anything,” you playfully smirked.
Hajoon pushed a few dishes over to your side.
“It would go to waste, so eat it,” he said.
“I can’t finish all of this food,” your eyes widened.
“If you can finish all of your food, then you----”
“Actually, I lied,” you avoided eye contact with him, “I didn’t know if you had lunch, so I brought extra food so we could share.”

He didn’t know why, but it felt comforting.
It was what he needed.

“Which ones are for me?” he asked.
You lifted your head, meeting eyes with him.

Th-thump. Th-thump. Th-thump.

You felt weak, but you pretended everything was okay.
The butterflies awoke, intensifying in your stomach.

You pushed over the dak gomtang (a chicken soup), bulgogi, and japchae over to him.
Hajoon looked at the food; he managed to pull out a small smile.
You caught a glimpse of it, bringing a smile to your face.
Maybe, you preferred that him, instead of the other one.

Hajoon looked up at you.
“Thank you.”
“Thank you to you too,” you smiled, as your cheeks turned bright pink.

Lightening up the room, you pushed the tray of kimbap in the middle.
“We’re sharing this one,” you said.
He nodded to your deal.

“How’s your ankle?” he asked, taking a bite of the bulgogi.
You looked up from your bowl of rice.
“It’s a lot better than yesterday.”
“That’s good.”

You set your spoon down.
“Hajoon.”
He looked at you, waiting for one of your “get to know me” questions.
“Nothing really happened last night?” you asked.
Your intentions this time wasn’t to question him about where he was.
A part of you knew he was lying.
A part of you knew your mission to figure out who he was.
This part of you was genuinely concerned for him.

“You asked that last night and this morning.”
You swallowed your saliva, feeling a little nervous.
“No, I…I just feel like you’re not…telling me the truth.”
He was a little confused. You read that on his face.
“No, we’re partners, right?” you had to come up with an excuse.
“I just need closure that my partner is okay.”
Hajoon stayed quiet.
“I mean, I won’t continue the investigation on Mrs. Lee. I need you a hundred percent okay,” you continued.
“If anything, you’re the one that’s hurt,” he smartly replied.
You took a glimpse of your ankle. He wasn’t lying about that.
“By the time I get home, it’ll be okay,” you said, “I’m ready to chase down Mrs. Lee.”
“I’m okay,” Hajoon said.
You still didn’t believe his answer, though you gave him a nod that you understood.
“I’m right here, if you need anything,” you offered.
Hajoon didn’t say anything.
He looked stressed.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
“Thank you for having lunch with me.”
Hajoon hesitated at first.
“…thank you for coming over.”
“Anytime,” you smiled.
You limped over to your door, giving him a wave as you saw him popped his head out waiting for you to enter your room.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
You placed your hand over your heart.
The palpitations were so intense.
I’ll figure out who you are even if you won’t tell me.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
You limped to the back of the hotel.
You closed your eyes, lying down on a lounger.
It’s really my last day.
You frowned, but you weren’t going to let that ruin your last night.

You sat up, opening your eyes when a thought came over your mind.
He didn’t hurt me.
You thought.
So, who is he?

“--------!”
You looked over your shoulder.
“Minhyuk-shi!”
Just as you were about to stand up to bow, Minhyuk sat next to you on the other lounger.
“No need to,” he smiled.
You chuckled.
“What are you doing here?” you asked.
“I’m just waiting for my girlfriend, so we can watch the sunset."
“How romantic,” you teased.
He shyly smiled.
Minhyuk looked around.
“Your friend is not here?”
“No."
“Oh,” Minhyuk nodded, understandingly.
“When are you leaving?” he asked.
“Tomorrow morning,” you frowned.
“That .”
“It really does, so I’m enjoying these last few hours at the beach,” you chuckled.
“I’m not bothering you, am I?”
“No, no, no,’ you waved your hands, “I appreciate you coming by.”

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
You ended up staying with Minhyuk and Minji, Minhyuk’s girlfriend, to watch the sunset.
After that, you guys picked up a small snack, walking back to the hotel.
“Thanks for inviting me too. I’m so sorry if I was third wheeling.”
“--------shi, it was so fun with you!” Minji chuckled.
“Next time, we should come back here with your friend,” she smiled, “A double date?” she raised a brow.
Your eyes widened as you looked at Minhyuk and Minji.
“O-oh, no. He’s just a friend,” you laughed it off.
“Minhyuk told me how you looked at him,” she playfully smirked.
You looked at Minhyuk and he avoided your eye contact.
“It’s nothing,” you smiled, denying it.
“I will stop teasing you. Have a good night! If we don’t see each other tomorrow, then we wish you a safe flight back,” Minji smiled.
“ Thank you so much! Same wishes go to you guys!” You smiled.
You gave Minji a hug to a start of a new friendship.
Just as you were about to hug Minhyuk, he stopped you.
“Are you sure your friend will be okay?” he teased.
You laughed.
“He’s not my boyfriend.”
Minhyuk smiled, wrapping his arms around you.
You pulled away and thanked them again before taking your leave.

•• ━━━━━ ••●•• ━━━━━ ••
You slowly limped to the elevator.
What is he doing right now?
Is he still in his room, or did he go back to that pier?

You wondered.

Just before the door slid close, a man stopped it, with hand in between the two sliding doors.
You looked at him.
He was dressed in an all-black suit.
Then, ten more men entered the elevator, all dressed in black.

You moved over to one of the corners, allowing them to take most of the space in the elevator.
Your guts told you something wasn’t right.
They’re not his men, are they?
Should I call him right now?

You thought.

Just as you were about to pull your phone out, you stopped.
“Scan all floors for WHJ. Don’t let him leave this building,” one of the guys called, pressing his earpiece.

WHJ?
What kind of acronym is that?
WHJ?
W-H-J?

Your heart dropped, as you tried not to react to your revelation.
They’re looking for Hajoon.

You stood quietly at the corner, pretending to mind your own business.
Your heart raced, as you fidgeted with your fingers.

Three men walked out to the second floor, another on three on the third floor, another on the fourth.

The last two men stood in the elevator with you, waiting for the fifth floor.
You held your breath. The beating of your heart could be heard through your ear.
Goosebumps formed on your arms. Cold chills went down your spine.
All you were thinking about was getting to Hajoon before they could.

Ding!

The two men ran out, both scanning their side of the floor.
You fast limped ahead down the hallway.
You glanced behind, making sure they weren’t following you.

You knocked on his door, panickily.
“Hajoon!” You whisper-yelled.
“Hajoon!!!”
“Yah! Hajoon!”
No answer from him.
You began panicking, as you looked down both hallways.
“Yah! Open the door!” You begged, as you knocked at his door.

“Boss, we’re still looking!”

You heard one of the men, though their presence was still not known.
I need to get to my room.

You quickly pulled out your card, scanning yourself into your room.
You pulled your phone out, fumbling it.
Your hands shook, as you tried to find his contact.
Aish!

Just before you could press on his number,  a hand came behind you, covering your mouth, their arm wrapped around your body, as your back touched their body.
“Mmmmmmmm!!!” you mumbled a scream as loud as you could, wiggling out of their grasp.

You managed to turn around to look at the stranger, grabbing onto his left arm, ready to push him away.
His hand still covering your mouth, though it loosened.
His arms around your waist, pulling you close to him.

Your eyes widened, softening when you realized who it was.

His worried eyes.
His heavy breathing.
His toned chest.
His muscular arm.
His wet hair.

Chapter 40: Ah, so that's how those two take care of that ending from the previous chapter? But what did she mean by she didn't want him to blurt it out like that to Eunwoo? I couldn't recall which incident she was referring to. Other than that, Ha Joon getting jealous of her having lunch with Soo Hyuk and then taking up on his offer to drive her home and also, when he thought she was dating Eunwoo. But did he offer to take her home and she rejected him? He was kinda salty when he said something along the line of 'you take up his offer but reject mine?'. And once again what's with this chapter's ending as well? It's illegal to leave us on a note like that. Now what's that bracelet and how does he recognise it? And what did Ha Joon do this time? Surely she can't be his ex and all, unless she was abroad as well. Nonetheless, I can't wait to read more. Will be eagerly waiting for the next update ^^

Chapter 39: Ooh... You didn't bring the twist I was expecting from the ending of the previous chapter. And talking about endings, what is even Ha Joon thinking confronting Eunwoo like that here? How is he gonna justify his reason for knowing that? Regardless, I had fun reading this chapter. Those two showing attitude to each other, then caring about each other secretly... I can't wait to read more. Will be eagerly waiting for the next update ^^

Chapter 38: I'm not gonna get fooled by your ending. I'm sure he's gonna something along the line, who will spy for him and he's in need of a trustworthy partner or so. LoL... But that's a pretty good ending for the chapter. I'll give you that. You almost got me. Anyway, those two were really good this whole chapter. Like her, I'm gonna miss those two being on holiday. Since they can't be this free back home with their job hierarchy. Also, I cracked up hard when she retorted 'In this hotel room?' to his ' I'm your boss' comment XD can't wait to read more. Will be waiting for the next update ^^

Chapter 37: Their vacation is getting over? So soon? Noooooo... I mean it was fun seeing them flirt and spend time together without their status or something holding them back. It was sweet and a bit funny how they ordered food for each other and then acted like they can eat all that by themselves. And will they be having a double date somewhere later in the story with Minhyuk and his girlfriend? Also, that ending though! How are they both gonna escape the guys who have come in search of him? Can't wait to read more. Will be eagerly waiting for the next update ^^

Chapter 36: So Eunwoo hasn't found the box yet, right? I mean since he got interrupted by Haein while searching for it. Also, wonder why Ha Joon is keeping an eye on her as well... And definitely enjoyed reading those two's interaction in the island. I laughed out loud when she asked him if older women was his type and was going to introduce her friend to him. Oh, I totally forgot about her admitting her feelings for him, even though it was just to herself. Now when's Ha Joon gonna realise his own? Also, she gotta stop following people blindly especially when it involves secluded place and warehouses. When is she gonna learn her lesson? Anyway, thanks for the longer update. can't wait to read more. Will be eagerly waiting for the next update ^^

Chapter 35: That ending though! I mean will Ha Joon recognise whose voice it is? And does she have notes on Eunwoo too on that board? I don't seem to remember... Regardless, this chapter was a fun read, especially the interactions between her and Ha Joon. And I'm still wondering about this Minhyuk guy. LoL... Anyway, can't wait to read more. Hope to see an update soon ^^

Chapter 34: LoL... You definitely got us in the last chapter! I still can't believe it wasn't the same black box that he was looking for. Wah, you fooled me completely! Anyway, coming to the chapter, I didn't know such a hotel existed in Jeju. Not that I know of all the hotels there. Nonetheless, I wasn't expecting a hotel with the name 'Ramada' in Korea but now I know, thanks to you and Google. LoL.. also, can't believe Ha Joon really killed someone in this chapter. Not sure why that came as a shock to me though. Also, that nice guy named Minhyuk, is he one of your OCs or is he one of those idols with the real name Minhyuk? I'm really curious. Also, his mother doesn't know about his girlfriend yet or is she not accepting that girlfriend for her son? And what was Ha Joon doing in Jeju though? I'm curious of that too. And the guy at the end, is it Minhyuk again? Or is he someone's else entirely? Anyway, can't wait to read more. Will be eagerly waiting for the next update ^^

Chapter 33: So Eunwoo now thinks she likes him? Also, Ha Joon and her had an indirect date? Those two were too cute, especially trying to deny their feelings. And she gave him the black box? That came as a surprise. Anyway, can't wait to read more. Hope to see an update soon ^^

Chapter 32: At the beginning of the chapter, I was mildly confused if the order of the chapter was wrong but soon realised it was Ha Joon's perspective. Somehow, the mention of an Italian brand and all those ominous reactions and warnings from people make me wonder if it has anything to do with the Italian mafia. Also, her being conflicted with her feelings and her fear, how are things gonna resolve in that department? Also, Jung Hae In here is the actor Hae In, isn't it? Just curious... Anyway, can't wait to read more. Will be eagerly waiting for the next update ^^

Chapter 31: Asdfghjjklkj!! He brought her lunch, didn't he? Ayyo, now he's gonna think she went on a date with Soohyuk. And talking about him, I wonder what the repercussions gonna be for hanging out with him. I mean like she said, his mom is definitely not gonna leave this alone. Also, I'm starting to feel sorry for Eunwoo. Just hope that he was genuinely caring about her till now and not just acting so. Anyway, can't wait to read more. Hope to see an update soon ^^
