“Baby… wake up…”

“Huh?” Moonbyul confusedly turn to look at her wife who is sitting beside her on the bed. “What time is it now?”

“Its 9 in the morning..”

“Huh?! I’m late!” Moonbyul immediately shoot up from her sleeping position.

“Babe it’s okay, today is Sunday…” Yongsun said snickering a little bit looking at her still confused wife.

“Oh..” The younger girl immediately throw herself back on their shared bed. “I thought its Monday today…”

“Are you okay?” Yongsun took her wife head and let her lay on her laps. “You’re dead sleeping after taking your medicine yesterday”

“Oh I’m sorry, the meds is definitely strong that I don’t even remember falling asleep..” Moonbyul apologetically replied still closing her eyes.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

“Can we come in?” Hyejin’s small voice can be heard from outside of their room.

“Yes baby you can..” Yongsun shout a little bit so that the twins could hear her voice.

The twin sister slowly walk towards their parents before climbing on the bed sitting beside their mummy.

“Umma are you okay?” Wheein softly asked her mum.

“I’m fine no worries baby..” Moonbyul shows off her smile not to worry her oldest daughter. “Did I scare you?”

“A little bit?” Hyejin said while showing a little bit gesture with her finger towards her mother.

“You brat!” Moonbyul said tickling her daughter for being cheeky so early in the morning.

Yesterday’s evening…

The family are casually lounging in their living room. The parents are sitting on the sofa watching their twins playing with their pets. It has been three days since they brought home the pets. The house is getting brighter with the existence of the two pets.

“Byul are you okay? You keep on rubbing your eyes..” Yongsun worriedly look at her wife beside her.

“It is soo itchy..”

“Come let me see” Yongsun cupped her wife’s face and look into her face. “Byul! Its so red!”

“Huh?”

“Your eyes, why don’t you let me know about thiisss” Yongsun panically said. “When did this start??”

“I don’t know this morning?”

“Let’s go to the clinic” Yongsun immediately stand up pulling her wife together with her.

“The kids?”

“You get yourself ready I’ll ask Yonghee unnie to come and help” She then pushed her wife away.

“Is umma okay?” Wheein worriedly ask after seeing her mother being ushered away.

“She’s fine sweetie, umma and mummy are going to go out for a while. Wheeinie stay home with Aunt Yong for a while okay?”

“Are you sure? Wheein saw umma watery eyes…”

“Yes baby, now go and play with ggomo together with your sister okay? Promise me not to fight alright?” Yongsun said while cupping her daughter chubby cheeks.

“Okay mummy…” Wheein surrendered and continue playing with her cat.

“Thank you for agreeing to help unnie…” Yongsun apologetically said to her sister.

“No worries, now chop chop! Go and get that eyes treated” Yonghee pushed the couple out of their house. “Don’t worry about the kids they’re big already, easy to entertain!”

“Thank you unnie!” Yongsun and Moonbyul drove off to the nearest clinic in their neighbourhood.

“This looks like a normal allergic reaction towards dust or fur, did you do some cleaning or got pets in your house?” The doctor look at both the couple sitting in front of him.

“We just recently adopt a dog and a cat for our kids back at home, is this one the reason why she got this allergic reaction?”

“That might be one of the reason why Mrs Moon got this allergic reaction. Have this happened before?”

“As far as I remember I have pets when I was small but no allergic reaction towards me..” Moonbyul scratch her not so itchy head feeling confused as to why she got the reaction now.

“People can have late-onset allergies or they might have had allergies before but they are just a little bit more aware of it now. How long since you last live with a pets?”

“The last one before he died is when I’m still in middle school, since then I have never live with any pets till we adopt the fur babies last three days..”

“I see.. some can experienced allergies late and looks like this is what happened with your case”

“So, she can’t live with the pets then?” Yongsun worriedly asked. They cannot afford to let the pets go just after three days adopting them, the kids are so going to be sad about it.
