It’s sort of awkward because best friends don’t usually go around kissing each other-

especially not on the lips

But here the two of you were in the middle of a park bench, kissing.

He didn’t give you a kiss on the cheek or one on your forehead, nope, here he was planting one right on your lips.

Daehyun pulled back before you could fully process the moment, and it was kind of, no, it was really awkward-

because you sort of wish he wouldn’t have, stopped that is, and the thought of you wishing to continue kissing your best friend…well, it’s just altogether very very very strange.

You blinked up at him, unsure of what exactly to do or say.

“I’m sorry,” he breathed shakily.

You blinked again, staring at him in silence before leaning in and giving him a light peck on the lips.

“I’m sorry too” you smile.
