"You wanted to see me sir?"

Sojung walks into a cafe to meet the man who had messaged her two nights ago.

The meeting was supposed to be a day prior, but her nerves had gotten the best of her, and she couldn't contain her stomach every time the thought of the meeting arises. 

It didn't help that she didn't tell Eunbi about it either.  

Not only because the sender had asked her to, but also because she didn't need more burdens on the shorter's shoulders.

Eunbi was already on thin ice with her parents and this situation would only make everything worse.

So without further ado, Sojung went in alone, walking towards a table, where Eunbi's father her watched her every move.

"Sojung, I have been expecting you" Mr Jung had said to her calmly, but his eyes, as he stared at her, told a completely different story.

Taking a seat herself, so she is now right across from Eunbi's father, Sojung took one final deep breath, before nodding"

"I'm going to get straight to the point, Sojung. I'm sure you know why I asked you here." 

"I do"

"Your relationship with my daughter... I'm going to ask you kindly. Please Sojung, if not for Eunbi's sake, then for your own sake, end this relationship, and after this drama, cut all ties with her." 

The previous fear swimming in the pits of her stomach slowly drains away, as anger begins to slowly fill it's place. "I'm afraid I cannot do that, sir." She had managed to say rather gently, despite her clenched jaw. 

Silence followed that answer, Mr. Jung didn't say anything. but Sojung swore she can see a bulging vein on the man's temple as he glared into her soul. 

"And why not?" He was losing his cool now, voice slightly raised this time, yet constraint was still present, although Sojung wasn't entirely sure what exactly he was constraining himself from.

To yell at her? To punch her? To kill her on the spot?

She doesn't know, but she hopes it isn't the last option.

"Because I love her..." Sojung finally says. "And... she loves me..."

"BULL!" Mr. Jung stands up from his seat, arousing the attention of others as he does so, noticing this, he slowly sits back down onto his chair, a hand covering his face.

"I wouldn't act like that Sir, even with my face mask on, some may still recognise me and I'm sure, considering the conversation we are having now, that isn't something you want to bring attention to."

Sliding his hand down from his face, just to reveal eyes staring back at her, the man sneers at her. 

"That's right, you're a celebrity, what would become of your career if word went out of your relationship with Eunbi? Hell... what would become of my daughter if word went out? Do you even see the issue here Kim Sojung? If you really loved my daughter why would you put her career at risk like that?"
