Yewon's eyes widened as she watched Yuna come closer, she was snaking? worming? On the floor by kicking her feet up backwards and lifting her upper body and pushing off the floor with her hands. (aka in my country the dance move called 'worm')

"Yuna! Stop that right now!"

Grinning, she got off the floor and quickly attached herself to Sojung's side.

"I did well that time didn't I? Didn't I?"

Sojung just sighed and patted Yuna's shoulder, nodding her head in a silent praise.

"Yes! I did it finally! Haha!"

She seemed to be celebrating by dancing? Yewon watched as Yuna's body contorted in different ways, there was no rhythm, nor any music playing, but she seemed to enjoy herself. Yerin laughed as Sojung just sighed, leaning on one leg, just waiting out the celebration. Then yerin finally stopped laughing as hard, and grabbed Yuna by the hand.

"Yah, you should show her your special move, you've got to impress our little one."

Then Sojung got excited too, clapping her hands like a seal and jumping up and down with a high pitched squeal.

"Ya! Yuna yah! You should do your introduction like that!"

"You mean like saying my name and hobby and age and and-"

"YES!"

Yewon just watched as the two older girls continued to excitedly watch Yuna who had seemingly calmed down, she was watching the older two as well.

Then Yewon's eyes nearly popped out of her sockets.

"WHAT! How can you do that!?"

Yuna was body waving, only not just any body wave, high speed consecutive body waves that Yewon had never seen before in her five years of existence, which honestly, wasn't much to begin with anyways.

Yuna smiled continuing her waves, raising a hand that remained still despite her moving body, she introduced herself.

"Hi, my name is Choi Yuna, 6 years old, my best friend's name is Eunbi, Jung Eunbi and I like to sing."

"I'm Yewon, 5 years old. I like to draw."

Somehow, Yuna managed to shake her hand before stopping her body rolls, reading Yewon's expression, she stopped smiling.

"...I'm weird aren't I? I'm sorry."

Looking down at her feet, her hands tucked behind her back, Yuna looked adorable in Yewon's eyes.

"No! You're not weird! I was just surprised, I've never seen anything like that before, I like it."

"I kno wI know, I'm not good at dancing a famous dance teacher told me that- what? Y-you liked it?"

Seeing Yuna's head shoot up to look her in the eyes made Yewon smile, Yuna reminded her of a puppy.

"Has anyone told you that you're puppylike?"

"Many! Do you want to pet my head?"

Giggling as Yuna forced her head under Yewon's hand, Yewon just pulled her into a hug, Yuna was going to be a fun friend.

"Hey, you wanna be my friend?"

"Of course! Yewonnie is my newest friend! Let's go see Eunbi!"

Having her hand grabbed, Yewon had to run after Yuna, it was the first time that she had experienced flight. Glancing back, Yewon watched as Sojung and Yerin talked with each other, maybe she'd ask them to be her friends too later. Daycare was turning out to be much better than she had expected.

"Eunbi ah, Eunbi! Jung Eunbi wake up!"

Yewon tried to catch her breath as she watched Yuna shake another sleeping being. She looked younger? Maybe it was her cheeks, or the way she slept with a thumb in .

"Eunbi yahhhhhhh Eunbi!"

"Yuna unnie, if she wants to sleep we should let her shouldn't we?"

"But I wanted to introduce you two...."

Watching Yuna pout was like watching a flower wilt, she drooped over a little and her lower lip jutted out in a cute pout. Taking Yuna's hand bravely, she tugged lightly.

"Would you help me with homework while we wait? I was told I could do homework here."

Yuna instantly brightened up, swinging their hands lightly, Yuna pulled her to the desks that they had in their room. Taking her seat across from Yewon, she grinned as Yewon presented her homework.

"Ah? Isn't a mermaid's tail supposed to be green?"

Yewon was surprised, did Yuna think so too?

"Right? I asked my teacher and she said that this mermaid was special, so she had a yellow tail."

"Then, are there any other colors?"

Yewon hesitated with the answer she had concluded from today, she didn't want to make Yuna sad as well.

"W-well, you see-"

"Did someone tell you mermaids didn't exist?"

"H-how'd you know?"

Yuna grinned, propping her chin on her hands.

"You know, I've met a mermaid before."

Yewon was bewildered, for real?

"You've really met a mermaid before?"

"Really, I was on the beach and I didn't know how to swim, but a really pretty mermaid came and saved me when I was drowning, her tail was green, so I'm pretty sure they're green."

"Tell me more!"

Sojung laughed, Yewon hadn't even realized that the eldest had come over.

"Yuna, just give her alllllll the details in the world, I'll help pull out the correct color pencils for her homework."

"Wait! But then Sojung unnie, you believe that mermaids are real?"

"Of course."

Yewon smiled, genuinely for the first time since leaving school. Maybe her sister was right, daycare really was a lot more fun, it made her feel safe and it was where she belonged.

Suddenly an arm was slung over her shoulder and Yewon hesitated to look to her left.

"Hm? What's wrong? Why're you lookin at me like that?"

Yewon took a breath of relief, it was just Eunbi, well, Hwang Eunbi that is. Feeling a pressure on her right side, she confusedly looked to her right. Yerin was twirling and singing on the other side of teh room, holding a small doll, Yuna was across the small desk, Sojung was next to Yuna, still picking color pencils out of the box with her tongue sticking out the corner of , if Eunbi was to her left, then...

"Eunbi! You woke up!"

There must be another Eunbi on her right.

Officially trapped at dorm. :D man I'm homesick already. Also, I don't know how to pace, so don't question why a school day is one chapter and a daycare is several chapters :D it's my charm lol
