Loco

We both wore our hoodies with face mask, hoping that no one recognizes us. The nearest mall here with cinema was 30 minutes away, “I think you should preserve your energy for tonight, so let’s take a sub.” She suggested. I was actually touched. She kept on mentioning about taking care of me because of our show tonight. But little did she know that being with her energizes me more than resting alone. “If you don’t mind walking, I would prefer it.” I assured her. She was looking at me a bit hesitant at but sent me a smile at the end.

We started walking at a safe distance from each other. Just enough to tell that we’re walking together and not a stranger. “Hope this disguise of ours is pushing it.” She commented, we laughed at that while looking at each other. I like the feeling right now. “Too hassle to catch an introversy on both sides.” I said. “Yep, if ever. But here we are, still seeing each other huh?” She continued, ohh. “We sounded like lovers can’t be caught!” We laughed once again. Oh man, she looks so beautiful.

We continued our simple conversation while narrating almost every single common thing that we do everyday, and it’s like getting to know her more. “By the way oppa, haven’t you noticed that it seems like we started with a drink? Even though our song itself was Don’t Give Me a Drink?” She said. I thought about and eventually agreed after thinking. “You’re right. You almost became my drunkard buddy. But you know? I didn’t know that you could go all out about drinking.. I thought you’re like that in... love only.” I answered, not daring to look at her by the time I said my last sentence.

I felt her glance at me for a minute with a smirk. “I go all out in everything I do.” She simply answered. I nodded in responce. Not knowing what to say next. Our conversation about little things, and I didn’t expect time to past by so fast. We’ve already reach the cinema.

I bought two tickets of some random movie showing then we entered. Movie started and no one talked, when I was about to drink my water, I saw her eyes closed. I guess this woman is tired, huh? I carefully put her head on top of my shoulder and slowly drifted into the dreamland...
