"Hey Chaeng" the girl smiled

"SOMI!! HI!!" Chaeyoung greeted excitedly

"It's been a while, it's nice to see you again" Somi smiled

Chaeyoung and Somi have been friends since they were kids, Chaeyoung was 6 and Somi was 4 when they met at the park all those years ago. Somi and Chaeyoung were inseperable since they met. Somi had always been protecting Chaeyoung whenever the cub got in trouble. It almost broke Chaeyoung's heart when Somi had to leave to study in Canada when they were in their teens, Chaeyoung was 14 when Somi left, Somi was only 12. Before she left, they made a promise to keep in call once every month and to meet again someday, as a parting gift, Somi gave Chaeyoung Fluffy, her giant unicorn and Chaeyoung gave Somi a mood ring that Somi had never taken off since she put it on. Chaeyoung was lonely after Somi left, but luckily she met Dahyun and Tzuyu soon after.

"Wow you're still wearing the ring!! Anyway, why're you here?" Chaeyoung asked, estatic that her best friend had returned

"Of course, we're best friends, and I got moved up 2 grades while in Canada and I returned to Korea, I had promise to fulfil" Somi explained

"Wow, I didn't know you were that smart" Chaeyoung said, growing red at Somi's first and last statement

"Yeah, Canada's grading system is extremely lenient" Somi said

Somi was an extremely gifted student, she would always top the school in terms of grades and both in Korea and in Canada. Personality wise, Somi was much more mature than Chaeyoung, people would often say Somi was wiser beyond her years, while people said Chaeyoung was a 5 year old trapped in a 18 year olds body, people would say Somi was a 45 year old trapped in a 16 year old's body. Somi was alwasy there to look out for Chaeyoung, she was basically Chaeyoung's third parent, they loved each other, and Somi would do anything to protect Chaeyoung. Anything.

The professor soon entered the class and they sat next to each other the whole lesson, both of them falling asleep and doodling in class, both of them uninterested in what the professor was saying. Despite being a gifted child, being even smarter than Chaeyoung, she never really liked learning, doing it just to live comfortably in the future. 

After the lecture, Chaeyoung brought Somi to meet
