Tomorrow is such a big day for me. Because Jennie and I will celebrate our first monthsary as a couple! Yey! Can you believe that? Time flies so fast. All of this still felt like a dream to me. A miracle. I can't believe that we've been together for a month now. I'm actually planning to give her a big surprise. I've been preparing for it these past few days with the help of my friend Kei. It's gonna be awesome and I can't wait for Jennie to see it. I hope she loves it and appreciate all of my efforts. I want to make the day special and memorable for the both of us. But believe me, that's kind of hard to do because we're so busy because of rehearsals, recordings, and promotions of our 'repackage album' this week.I promised myself that I'll try my best to make everything perfect. We just got back from another event from Japan and we're going to Jeju island this Monday to attend a big event there. I heard that the company's dancers are coming with us too. 

We just got back to the dorms after an exhausting rehearsal from studio. I'm actually meeting my friend Kei so I just prepared my bag before heading outside. I passed by the living room and saw Jisoo and Chaeyoung there, watching some anime. I want to join them and watch too but I have to go now because Kei is already waiting for me on our meeting place and I don't want to make her wait.

"You're leaving? Where are you going?" Rosé asked me when I approached them.

"I'm going to the orphanage and help my friend Kei. She said they need volunteers right now so.." I lied. I can't tell them that Kei is helping me with my surprise for Jennie because they might tell Jennie about it. They're not good at keeping secrets after all. Jisoo looked at me and speak.

"So you've been volunteering for almost a week now. Wow. Where are you getting that energy and enthusiasm of yours? Aren't you tired of all those works?" Jisoo asked curiously. Rosé chimed in before I could even answer.

"She's right. Stop pushing yourself too much Lisa. Don't overdo it.  I think you should let your body rest too." Rosé remarked and Jisoo nodded in agreement.

"What if you got sick because of fatigue? We have an upcoming performance this Monday so please take care of yourself." Jisoo said sincerely and I just gave them a smile.

"I'm alright guys so please don't worry about me. And besides, this is the last day that I'm gonna do this so just let me be." I said seriously. (Of course it's the last day of preparation because tomorrow is our monthsary.)

They just sighed defeatedly and I gave them a hug before leaving.

"What about Jendeukie? Aren't you going to say goodbye to her before leaving?" Jisoo asked curiously. I just scratched the back of my neck before speaking.

"Just tell her that I'm meeting my friend. I saw her sleeping earlier on her room so I don't want to disturb her peaceful slumber." I answered and Rosé just raised a brow.

"Really? But I just saw her a few minutes ago in the kitchen drinking milk." Rosé muttered and I just sighed. Okay. I admit. I was actually avoiding Jennie because she's being grumpy again these past few days. I really hate this time of the month. I know that it's better to distant myself from her during these days because I know I'll just end up annoying her. I don't want that to happen so I guess it's better to give her space for the meantime.

Jennie has been stressing out these past few days. All these works and busy schedules is actually taking a toll on her. She's so exhausted but can't do anything because she knows what their doing is all for their fans. She even read online that their fans were starting to grow impatient because of their long hiatus. They're always asking her about their comeback but all she could reply was "sorry" and "stay strong". It frustrates her that she can't even do anything about it. And all of this stress that she's been feeling would've actually reduced if there is someone who's supporting her along the way. But the only person who she cared the most, the person that she expects to actually make her feel better was avoiding her and felt so distant. She didn't know why Lisa suddenly became so out of reach these past few days. It's like, she's there with her but her mind was off to somewhere else. She's so disappointed and felt even more depressed. 

Jennie heard Lisa's voice outside her room so she immediately opened her eyes and went to the door.

"Jennie, are you awake?" Lisa asked while knocking on the door. She was startled a little when Jennie suddenly opens the door and face her.

"Why are you here?" Jennie asked coldly while crossing her arms over her chest.

"I.. Well actually, I was just going to say goodbye to you before I leave and---- she cuts me off before I could finish my sentence.

"You're leaving again?" Jennie asked while raising a brow.

I suddenly felt kind of nervous under her gaze and gulped. She looks so serious and cold. Don't upset her in any way Lisa. Just smile.

"Yes. I'm meeting my friend Kei and--- she cutted me off again.

"Her again? You've been hanging out a lot with her these past few days Lisa. Aren't you tired of seeing each other's faces?" Jennie asked while frowning. Oh-oh. She looks mad. I'm not even saying something annoying but now she's already mad at me. What am I gonna do?

I move closer to her and tried to hold her hand but she just steps back and avoided me.

"Baby look, I'm meeting her because I want to help her with some volunteer works. They need volunteers right now because---- she cut me off again for the third time. Geez, why can't she just let me finish my sentence first?

"If that's the case then I'm coming with you." she said and turns around and walk towards her closet. I grab her wrist to stop her.

"No! You can't. Please just stay here and rest. You don't have to come with me." I panickly said. She can't come with me because it's not just Kei who I'm going to meet today. The dancers are also there because we're going to rehearse what we've been practicing these past few days. Kei was actually the one who introduced me to this group because she's a good friend of their manager. I asked for their help to surprise Jennie and do a performance with them on our monthsary. If Jennie comes with me today, all of this surprise will be ruined. She can't find out about our plan.

Jennie turns to look at me and speaks.

"Why? Are you hiding something from me? Tell me honestly, why don't you want me to go with you? What, because I might ruin your precious moment together? Is that the reason?" Jennie asked a bit annoyed and I just shook my head.

"No. Of course not. What are you saying? How many times do I have to tell you that Kei and I were just friends. Stop saying ridiculous things." I replied calmly but she just chuckled sarcastically.

"Oh really? Then why can't I come with you? I thought we agreed to never lie to each other? What happened to that? Why are you hiding something from me? If you're cheating on me with her, then just admit it!" she huffed and I just gasped.

"What are you saying? I'm not cheating on you. You know I would never do that! I thought we promised to trust each other no matter what? I can't believe you would accused me of such things!" I retorted.

"It's because you're leaving me no choice! Why are you lying to me if you're not hiding anything? Why do you keep on meeting her even if I asked you not to? Does my opinion even matter to you?" she snarled and I just sighed deeply before answering.

"Of course! Believe me you're the only one that matters to me Jennie. Where is this all coming from? Why are you doubting my feelings for you?" I asked a bit annoyed.

"Because you keep on disappointing me!" she argued and I just shook my head in disbelief.

"What? I'm trying my best to be good enough for you Jennie. What else do you want me to do?" I asked confusedly and she just stared at me blankly.

"If I'm really important to you then stay here and don't meet with her." she said authoritatively and I just gaped at her.

"Jennie I can't. I have to go and see her." I insisted but she just looks at me displeased.

"Why do you keep on choosing her over me? If I'm really important to you then you wouldn't have second thoughts!" she huffed.

"Because I think you're being unreasonable! So what now, I can't hang out with my friends anymore? Is that what you want me to do?" I retorted and she just shook her head.

"That's not what I'm trying to do! I just don't trust that girl so please just do what I asked you to!" she retorted back but I just frowned.

"Please stop being jealous of her! We're just friends!" I yelled out of frustration but Jennie just shook her head.

"No. You're staying here and that's final. You're not going there unless you let me come with you." Jennie said and turned to leave the room but I block her way.

"Hey, we're not done talking here. You can't just walk out like that!" I said a bit annoyed. She just looks at me coldly and replied, 

"But I'm done talking to you." she said seriously and I just scoffed. She walks past me but I say something before she leaves. 

"Do I really have to listen to everything that you say cause you're older than me? For pete's sake, stop being such a control freak Jennie!" I snapped. I'm starting to lose control of my emotions without even knowing it.

Jennie just looks at me in disbelief. She was taken aback that I suddenly raised my voice at her. To be honest, I was taken aback too.

"Wow. So that's what you thought of me all this time? A control freak. You're unbelievable." she said disappointedly. Her eyes looks hurt and I immediately regretted what I've said.

"Jennie I'm--- I tried to reach for her but she just avoided my touch.

"Don't." she muttered and I froze. She quickly left the room while I just stood there and didn't know what to do.

I run my fingers through my hair out of frustration and sighed deeply. I texted my friend Kei that something came up so I couldn't come and she just replied an "okay".

Minutes later, Chaeyoung walked in and sat beside me on the bed.

"Are you okay? We heard you fighting over something and then we saw Jennie-unnie hurriedly leaves the house. Jisoo-unnie followed her to make sure if she's alright." Chaeyoung softly said and I just looked down and started fidgetting my fingers.

"I got carried away and call her something mean.. I swear, I didn't mean what I said!" I said defensively and turned towards her. She just nodded her head in understanding and pulled me into a hug.

"Don't worry I believe you Lisa." she muttered and I just sighed. I hugged her back and closed my eyes.

"Do you think she will forgive me?" I murmured and she just laughed lightly.

"Why? You think she'll break up with you because you called her control freak? That's absurd Lisa." she said amusingly and I just gasped. Then I pull away to look at her face.

"So you heard what I've said?" I asked in disbelief. She just chuckles and looks at me.

"We actually heard everything to be honest." she confessed and I felt my face heat up from embarrassment. 

"Hey! But we're not that loud so how did that happen? Are you eavesdropping on our conversation?" I argued and raised a brow. She just rolled her eyes then speaks.

"Okay fine. I admit. Jisoo-unnie actually lowered
