Ready For Battle
Overwatch“Sanghyuk,” Hakyeon smiled slightly as the other wrapped his arms around him.
“You alright?” Sanghyuk asked, tightening his grip on his husband.
“I’m fine,” Hakyeon laughed slightly, “Why do you ask?”
“Just wanted to make sure,” Sanghyuk replied, “these people…….what they’ve done……..Hakyeon, no one would blame you if you let your anger control you a little bit. And no one would blame you if you stayed behind.”
“Sanghyuk,” Hakyeon frowned slightly, “I know you’re worried, but I’m alright. I’m not letting my anger control me. At least I don’t think I am. And I do need to be there. As Overwatch’s leader, I have to be there.”
“I’m just worried,” Sanghyuk sighed, trailing his fingers over the places where he knew Hakyeon still had scars from the attempts on his life all those years ago, “I’m worried that this time……” I’ll lose you.
“Oh, honey,” Hakyeon turned around, “sweetie, I promise you I’m going to be alright.”
“You can’t promise that,” Sanghyuk told him, “Hakyeon, this……this could be it.”
“Baby,” Hakyeon sighed, hugging his husband tighter, “it’s going to be ok. I promise you, it’s going to be ok.
A/N: I kind of want to ruin the sweet, emotional moment since that’s the kind of mood I’m in, but I won’t.
