“Wow,” Hakyeon said, looking around the large laboratory, “I….wow.”

“How is this full of already?” Taekwoon asked, “Everyone just showed up three days ago. There’s no way that there could be this much stuff lying around already.”

“Maybe this Wonsik guy showed up a few days early?” Hakyeon shrugged, “I mean, it’s totally possible that he wanted a couple extra days to unpack.”

“This is still too much,” Taekwoon frowned, “and too……set up. It looks like he’s been here for months.”

“I had help,” a voice called, followed by a young man with sliver blond hair stepping out from behind one of the shelving units scattered around the space, “as well as coming in two weeks early.”

“Oh,” Hakyeon blinked, more than a little surprised to find such a cute guy in the lab. The guy was exactly Hakyeon’s type.

“What are you doing here?” the guy, Wonsik, asked, turning his back to the pair as he worked to cataloged everything. He was positive that something had broken or gotten lost during the move. Sanghyuk insisted that he was crazy and nothing had happened to his creations, but Wonsik was sure that he was right and Sanghyuk was wrong.

“We wanted to check out how all the scientist were doing,” Taekwoon spoke up, “and you’re one of the scientists, so…..here we are.”

“I’m fine,” Wonsik said, “I’ll be better once I’ve finished my inventory.” And then he could go see how Sanghyuk was doing. Maybe they could even go out to dinner or something.

“Do you need help?” Taekwoon couldn’t help but ask, seconds before Hakyeon asked the question as well. Hakyeon glanced at Taekwoon, wondering why he offered to help so easily. Deciding that Taekwoon was just trying to be a good second in command, Hakyeon brushed it off.

“I’m fine,” Wonsik told him, not even trying to hide the slight edge of annoyance in his voice, “so if you could just leave me to my work, that would be great.”

“Ok,” Hakyeon tried to smile as he and Taekwoon left, “um, see you around?”

Wonsik grunted, not looking up from his work.

A/N: and I bet you any money that if Wonsik knew the role Hakyeon was gonna take in Sanghyuk’s life, he wouldn’t have brushed him off so easily. hahaha if he knew the role Taekwoon would take in his life, he wouldn’t have brushed him off like that either.
