Not Everyone Returns
Overwatch“Sanghyuk,” Sungjae smiled slightly throwing his arms around his old friend, “you look good.”
“Same,” Sanghyuk, hugging the robot tightly, “it’s good to see you.” He looked over Sungjae’s shoulder to greet Minhyuk and Donggeun, “you guys as well.”
“We honestly weren’t sure if we should come back,” Minhyuk admitted, “but then…..well, things happened.”
“This is probably the safest place for any of us,” Donggeun nodded, accepting the hug Sanghyuk offered much easier than he ever had back in the day.
“With family is the best place for anyone,” Sungjae nodded, trying to smile.
“Come on,” Sanghyuk smiled slightly, “I’ll show you to your rooms and them we can meet with our leader.”
“Taekwoon?” Donggeun questioned, “Or this Solider guy they’ve been talking about on the news?”
“Solider,” Sanghyuk answered, “hope that’s alright.”
“If you’re following him,” Minhyuk smiled, “then we’ll trust him as well.”
The group tried to talk about good things, tried to ignore the absence of the four humans that had once completed the seven member team BtoB.
A/N: so, just to be clear here: I never actually said that the other BtoB guys are dead. I just implied it. Implied and straight up said are two different things and I’d like to think that such a difference is important to note when it comes to my writing.
