“Wow,” Hongbin blinked, looking between the two couples, “just……wow.”

“Makes you feel like you’ve done nothing, right?” Sanghyuk flashed Hongbin an understanding smile, “at least you’ve been doing more than me.”

“That’s not true,” Hakyeon was quick to insist, "you’ve done a lot. If I didn’t have you, I might not--.”

“I know,” Sanghyuk moved to cover his husband’s mouth, “I know.”

“I wonder,” Jaehwan spoke up, “if it’s all connected.”

“Huh?” Wonsik questioned, “What are you talking about?”

“It seems weird, right?” Jaehwan pressed, “Overwatch was taken down from the inside and now we’ve got someone going around killing the agents. Maybe it’s just me being paranoid, but……it’s not that crazy to think that it’s connected, is it?”

“No,” Taekwoon scowled, “it’s not that crazy an idea. It’s well within the realm of possibilities.”

“Taekwoon is right,” Hakyeon glared at the table, “it’s possible that Jaehwan is right and everything is connected.”

“Did you give everyone a heads up about this guy who’s hunting us?” Sanghyuk asked.

“Yeah,” Wonsik nodded, “not sure if some of them believed me, but I told everyone.”

“Hopefully they all listened,” Hongbin frowned, “I don’t want to hear about their deaths on the news.”

“Hopefully we get this guy before that,” Sanghyuk replied, “If he attacked Wonsik looking for locations, then he must have hit a dead end.”

“Yeah,” Hakyeon nodded, “you said it’s been a few months since his last kill, right?”

“It’s the longest he’s taken off between kills,” Taekwoon said, “that would imply that he isn’t getting anywhere in his own search.”

“So he might try to break in here again,” Wonsik frowned, “I’ll have to reevaluate my security system.”

“I don’t think so,” Hakyeon said, “he probably knows that you activated the recall. He has to know that he can’t take on all of us together.”

“So then what do we do?” Taekwoon asked, “Because it sounds like you have a plan.”

“I do,” Hakyeon nodded, “I’ve got some contacts on the underground side of things. I trust them enough to ask them what they know about this guy.”

“I’ll go with you,” Taekwoon decided, “it will be like the good old days.”
