“Are you sure?” Hakyeon asked for the hundredth time, drawing a small chuckle from Lee Sem, “You don’t have leave just because you’re hurt. We can figure something out.”

“Hakyeon,” Lee Sem sighed, looking up from her packing, “I lost a leg. Even with the prosthetic that Wonsik made, I can’t be on the front lines and that…..that’s kind of why I’m here. It’s best if I retire.”

“Still,” Hakyeon sighed, “we’re losing you. Sera had to leave to look after her mother. We lost..…..we lost Eunji.” He shuttered, recalling exactly what happened to cost Overwatch “Armed Angel” Lee Sem and “Flame Master” Park Eunji.

“Hey,” the ex-hired gun move to hug him, “it’s going to be alright.”

“It’s just so much loss,” he sighed, returning the hug, “I know that we’ve lost people before, but……”

“I know,” Lee Sem nodded, “but….that’s life, right? Bad things happen, but good things happen as well.”

“Yeah,” Hakyeon tried to smile, “Sanghyuk said the same thing.”

“Listen to him!” she laughed, “he’s smart.”

“I know,” he smiled slightly, “that’s why I asked him to marry me.”

“I’m all packed,” she smiled, “walk me out?”

“Alright,” Hakyeon sighed, grabbing some of the heavier bags and leading Lee Sem out.

A/N: this….was more than a little painful to write. I mean, I’m a Mine through and through, so, like, making Sera, Lee Sem, and Eunji leave……kind of hard to do.
