Misunderstood Maknaes~Chapter 25~
R U Happy Now?
“Haha!” Jimin shouted, rocking back in his seat with a wide grin on his face.
“I don’t wanna play anymore.” Seohyun said as she pouted, placing her controller down on the coffee table in front of her.
Jimin frowned. “No! You have to play.” He said, leaning over to pick up Seohyun’s controller, throwing it back onto her lap without taking his eyes off the video game.
The two were sitting next to each other on the couch which was directly in front of the large TV which was placed behind the coffee table. Seohyun had become tired of playing on stupid games with Jimin, and was hoping Yoona, Yuri, Jin or Taehyung would come back to save her from having to do this. What was the point in shooting someone for them to come back to life a few seconds after?
Seohyun sighed. “But you keep getting me killed.” She said, sounding upset.
Jimin’s grin persisted and he turned to Seohyun. “Ah, that’s because you’re a distraction, Seobaby.”
Seohyun looked at him looking upset still. Not because he was getting her killed, but because she wanted to stop playing.
Seeing that she was sad, Jimin grabbed her cheek and copied her facial expression. “Awww, is my Seobaby upset?” he said patronisingly, tugging her cheek lightly after each syllable.
Seohyun pushed his hand away from her to get him to stop. Jimin was harmless, but just annoying in her opinion. “Can I go and see my dorm now?”
“Hmmmm….” Jimin paused as he tilted his head and looked at the ceiling in ‘deep thought’. He then switched his gaze back to Seohyun. “One more try and then I will let you go.”
After thinking about it for a second Seohyun realised she’d have no other way of leaving. Picking up her controller, she respawned along with Jimin who was grinning as usual. The only reason she had to stay was because Jimin had stolen her key card when he came down to greet her in the lobby, and was forcing her to stay with him so that she could get it back ‘eventually’. Jimin didn’t plan on giving it her back though. He got lonely at times since Suga wasn’t very talkative, always making songs or sleeping. He needed someone to keep him company, and Seohyun was perfect.
“Get to tha choppa!” Jimin ordered, mimicking one of his favourite movie lines in an accent. Seohyun couldn’t help but break a smile at his silliness, which Jimin noticed when he looked at her through the corner of his eye to check her reaction. Once the two got close to the helicopter, Seohyun pressed square to enter it and was seated in the pilot seat. “You can drive.” Jimin said, leisurely putting his hands behind his head and his feet on the coffee table.
Seohyun was taken back by this statement and laid back attitude. “Mwo?! I don’t know how and I’ll crash again.” she said, feeling scared even though it was a video game.
Jimin giggled at her words. “It’s easy,” Jimin said to Seohyun who looked unsure, “Just hold down right trigger and move the stick.” he instructed, having complete confidence in her.
Pressing the left trigger instead, Seohyun started to make the helicopter fly downwards, causing it to make beeping noises since she was doing it wrong and was instead flying it into the ground. “What have I done?!” she asked quickly, looking to Jimin with wide eyes for help.
He already had a go at her previously because she kept doing things wrong, but he was only kidding. Seohyun took it seriously though, and felt very guilty whenever she made a mistake or got him killed by the enemy team.
Jimin smiled at her overreaction. Shuffling closer to her, he took her left finger off the wrong trigger, and fit his hand over her right hand to show her that pressing th
